The engine is AMG "enhanced", not a real "one man, one engine" AMG (also no signature plaque on the engine cover). Basically, a GLE450 with an AMG cosmetic package.
@@Tzar1One Sure, but this is the only SUV in the Mercedes lineup that is actually slower than a non "AMG" option (GLE 580) that's also the same price. The hand built V8 in the GLE 63 S AMG is $40K more because of the engine. These "AMG Enhanced" cars are just marketing BS and really shouldn't be labeled as such. In my opinion Mercedes is really doing a disservice to AMG's heritage
@ I think Mercedes should drop that V8 engine from the GLE 580 ( dont need this model…get rid off it from the lineup) and put it in the GLE 53 that will make more sense

The problem is the airmatic. Any method to make it more comfortable; it bounce like a yatch when driving on uneven surfaces

If the company says its AMG then its AMG enough… faster than most cars on the road good daily….everything does not need be a V8
