Jon thanks for posting another interesting video on your journey to being a better golfer. As a 61-year-old, I knew my core strength had declined, and as I worked through the golf control tests it became abundantly clear. I have the same imbalances as you with a weaker left side. I found the golf control tests challenging enough to use them as exercises along with the exercises Matt has prescribed. I look forward to your follow-up videos.

Jon, what I’ve found particularly helpful to my golf game is tai chi, before I started, the most I could fire off from the driving range about ten balls at a time one after the other, then maybe take a break and chat to my friends, regulars at the driving range. I got some tips on how to be a better player, tai chi for me started at the driving range everyone had tried it but me. Apparently it helps keep your fitness up as 1 ,30min session =1days exercise roughly, don’t quote me on that. So give it a go, tell me how good it makes you feel/play, I would try: cloud hands as I personally found the most helpful but I am asking you to try it all out for me, just 30 mins a day now just do it!

Hey, yes I've built a version of this into a little routine that I do every morning when I wake up. In general it's helped as without it I feel a lot tighter and more restricted (in general, not just Golf). Hard to categorically say what the impact is on my swing, but I feel better, possibly more controlled when I'm on top of doing this stuff. Not sure if it will, but hope that helps.

@Jon Perkins Golf - I would appreciate if you did a video where you outline what you are doing and why? You are a scratch golfer with some really common sense practices, so what do you hope to gain? I think I understand why and what you are doing, but I think a more elaborative explanation would be great perspective. Thanks and enjoying your journey.
