Nik: This is the HEAVIEST, CHONKIST, BANGING band ever.
Song intro: soft ambient guitar and clean vocals
Nik: *Visible confusion
Yeah, seriously
Verbal confusion
"Sometimes you don't need breakdown to make a song heavy" definitely. Or you can have both to make a heavy heavy like Constance.
Constance was one of my favorite tracks last year. This song isn’t even close.
This years feels are reals songs like this and constance really have hit different
@@residentevilclone does it look like anyone cares about your opinion ?
@@sonitgorla4125 It’s his opinion. Just because you don’t care about it does not mean he isn’t allowed to have an opinion. Stop being an edge lord.
Amazing band
wussup djent daddy (no homo)
They’re epic
Fact
you can say that again!
"I'm expecting to get extra destroyed"
Not like this though
This
For real.
*tears in my eyes* Not like this
The vocals are absolutely phenomenal, you can just feel the emotion
oh hey, you have a good taste in music too??
Uaral, jason molina(Let me go) vocals with alot of emotions I guess
I STILL DONT KNOW HONWYOU SEEM TO BE OMNISCIENT. YOU EVEN LIKE METAL?! That's cool at least
Nik was expecting to get destroyed. Idk why he's so confused about getting emotionally destroyed
"What can this dude not dude"
- Nik Nocturnal 2021
This sounds weird, but I really like they way you plug your merch and channel. Super quick and painless but very obvious where we need to go to check out your other stuff. You don't spend 5 minutes like a lot of channels do. Props to that
Nik said at stream that he doesn't understand these people who puts tons of ads and in description there are links to all their stuff and merch at first place, before the song. But he himself does it :/
@@VasKurtas It's literally him promoting just himself for like, 10 seconds. Stop whining
I love that bands are showcasing their range in genre and talent. I hope more comes from this and Spiritbox. Even Gideon has some stuff similar in range!
Can't forget about Whitechapel either. Phil Bozeman has some great cleans. Especially in the acoustic version of Hickory Creek.
Can you name some of the Gideon songs? I'm interested 😀
Proof that love is incredibly heavy
Human connection is the absolute worst and best
Constance by spiritibox and this song hurt right in the feels.
Legit bawling while eating my taco bell rn, wtf bro I was NOT ready
The ghost part always gets me
when he turns the corner and the last chorus hits and you see the ghost. it fucking hurts man.
this got me all teared up bruh.
thinking of my grandma that passed away 6 years ago.
Exact same thing here, even the number of years are the same. Constance by Spiritbox had the same effect on me as well. Remembering all the good times but also the hard time right before her passing, slipping in and out of coma and didnt recognise me the last time i met her
Same here bro. My grandma and grandpa passed away a month apart, about 2-3 years ago. More times I hear this song more I will cry I guess.
L bozo 😂😂😂 only in ohio am i right 😉
this song makes me ✨big sad✨
edit: coming up on three years without my dad so this shit hits hard
I can understand your pain. The loss of a loved one is always hard. My mother died when I was 13, I'm 27 now, and the pain is still there. The part that hit home for me was when the man was hugging what he thought was his wife/daughter.
this really hits me too, my mother in law has stage 4 and everyday she gets worse. first time i heard this song i was at work... had to really hold back the water works :(
I lost my dad when I was 10 in 2014. He only fought stomach cancer for three months, but everyday after those three months, I wished I used that time better with him :( It's insane how fast time has gone and how little the regret has changed at all.
April is the 3 years for losing my dad, hang in there it gets easier. It's tough, it is definitely tough, but life will get better
@@holymorphzephyr5989 I’m sorry for your loss, this song & video is definitely a powerful reminder of the loss of a loved one.
I lost my Papa in October last year, the first time my family has lost someone so important. I feel this song so much. Might be crying right now. Just such a good song. Between this and Constance, gotta be my two favorite songs this year.
I know it's been a long time my friend but stay strong 💪
@@radamtv4779 thank you, the sentiment is very much appreciated.

@@Oithissucks You`re welcome :)
Dude I had the same exact reaction! Then I listened with lyrics and I found myself a sobbing mess about losing marriage and family. Absolute musical genius this band 🖤🤘💔
I'm just hearing this now, this is insanely good I can't believe Tom barber can do this style.
This song made me have to sit back and gather myself again. It's been four years to the day since I lost my grandpa. Meant the world to me. This destroyed me alright, emotionally. Amazing song though, really shows their dedication to making whatever the fuck they want, and making it work. Huge talent, much respect.
A new wave of sad emotional videos, asked SpiritBox, this song/video so good , and beautiful.
"Sometimes you don't need breakdowns... There's other types of heavy."
The sure sign of a metal musician with dimensions... At least 2.....
Our Eternity - Bloodstained (Ryan Kirby & Chris Wiseman)
He listened to it on stream earlier
@@mvvnlit3983 awesome
The spotify playlist has made driving my 2 and 4 year old children to daycare much better.
Very cool song for sure. Love the emotionally driven songs, very constance-esque. Good stuff.
seems directly inspired by constance
@@suavocado69 probably not
Damn, Toms cleans are really fucking good.
He’s done another song with cleans well a guest spot look up Tom barber clean vocals and it’s the top sing
So damn good but so damn heartbreaking all rolled into one!
Song reminds me of my grandparents, and how my grandmother must feel day by day. We lost my grandfather 2 years ago in January from lung cancer.
First it was spirit box having me in the feels and now Darko. And both songs are dealing with losing someone. Fuck man. Anyone else crying? No?
You know, when Pale Tongue came out, I only expected heavier. But this song really surprised me. It makes me expect some real life from the new album. I’m even more excited than I was, though I would’ve preferred this single being left for the album in favor of another single.
Never mind, wasn’t expecting that ending. Well, that’s something that someone needed to get out.
Nick: this is the heaviest band I’ve ever heard.
Me: 😭 (crying)
You Will never get the same feeling with Metal with other music ,Metalheads unite
this song is a masterpiece.
This video always punches me right in the gut every single time. Because it definitely reminds me of my grandparents, and their home too. Props to Darko.
Beautiful song, Tom caught me off guard too lol Thank u Nik for showing me this band🖤🖤
For those surprised that Tom is doing cleans, listen to The Alliance by Lorna Shore. Dude can sing
A band I think you'd find interesting is Satyr. As for a song to react to by them, I'd recommend either Bird or Picayune. They released these songs around this time last year but I think it'd be cool to hear your thoughts on them, because they're really good!
Dude they’re amazing I thought no one else knew of them
Yooo, one of my friends turned me on to those guys the other day. They are ridiculously good. I'd recommend a band called Belmont for some similar vibes as well
You nailed it on the head with the comparison to Constance... Shit that was heavier than any deathcore song with Double Drop Z tuning FeelsBadMan
Wow dude! Thanks for sharing this, what a song!
Haven´t heard from Darko before and think the songs is quite decent ... but damn when the old man (widower) embraces the ghost, that hit me hard in the feels.
Of all the songs to make me sad and cry, this one, the one i love to listen to does the moment i watch the video
Every single time I listen to this song, it brings tears. I instantly start thinking of my parents and my kids..
My grandfathers birthday is on this month, and he passed away from dementia a few years back just shy of his birthday.
I might not ever cry, but I’ll be damned if there isn’t a grip on my throat right now. It’s crazy how much you miss someone, and they’re no longer here with you.
Amazing track. “Beautiful.”
"What can this dude not dude??"
I love this song so much, and I cried like a baby when I first got to watch the clip.
This is such an amazing song. Omg the feels.
Woah! Thats an awesome twist from their usual work 🤘
Damn.... made me tear up. Great song!
Are you ever going to give us the Termina album Nik?! I need it in my life right now! Darko US's talents are boundless. Incredible job Mr. Barber!
I've been busting to see your reaction. It was pure cause you had no indication of what it would be so it was more authentic.
The is exactly like Constance.
Toms cleans are a mix of Sam, Oli and Chester imo
my guess is that it's for Josh (the drummer of emmure and also this band)'s mother
Grandmother. It's on his Instagram
@@codyking1001 oh i didn't know that thanks
I know I'm a little late with discovering this band but I really become speechless while listening to every song because every aspect of their song writing just works so well all together. Great reaction btw Nick 🤙
Love this tune, feels are real, dark never disappoints!
Nik, Nik, Nik!!!!!!!
New architects is out and its a great one.
This amazing song is pure melodic hardcore 🖤
Such a beautiful song that I can definitely relate to. 🤘🏾
Nah I’m not crying, you are
Woah did not expect this to hit me this hard in the feels ♥️
glad that you switched your content recently. got so much better. this is "just" a random reaction, the new vids are idk better
Lots of happiness in self destruction vibes
I was gonna say holy shit this sounds so similar to it
Felt very sempiternal-y
The chorus vocals remind me of Oliver’s raspy voice
Dammit, dude
I got goosebumps in one moment Tom start cleans
This is what I called talented vocalist
i was waiting for this HAHA.
4:12 so true! Great video :)
i'm so surprised and this song was soo beautiful 😥🤘
Love the reaction as usual. It's always fun to listen to a song with you for your first time and see the inner workings of your mind!
His bass commentary kills me every time 😂
This hit me like constance where I'm straight up about to cry, I wanted the heavy to be in my ears not heart. ;-;
WHAT? I am amazed.
btw Nik's reaction is priceless
I definitely know now what song I want played at my funeral someday
Damn, this is hitting that same feeling as some of the softer songs on Sempiternal like Snakes Start to Sing or Hospital for Souls
This song sounded very similar to Sleepwalking I thought.
Sh1t i'm crying..(
That type of video always hit me in the heart..
Great song from a great band , they just sound fresh no matter what they do
It’s like their answer to Constance. Fuck. My wife’s totally gonna die first and I fear that day.
i am shooketh with the start
first Spiritbox, then Landmvrks and then this. Needless to say, I'm a big fan of these types of releases
Can't wait see 'live' with this song 🤘🏻
i think i cried more than 50 times... best song of 2021 so far
Lifeblood has entered the chat.
Both songs are equal for me
I was not ready for that.... beautiful
i cried on the first listening
Void of Vision's "Decay" would be a great song for a react video. Even if you don't do a video for it (it's from 2019) it's a must-listen if you haven't already.
When I want to remember the love of my grandmother I come back to this song
Listened to this song. Ordered a Strymon Night Sky.
Epic vid
Huge There is a hell era BMTH and The Word Alive vibes and I mean HUGE
Spiritbox vibes and I love it
Holy fuck I actually got chills - like last time but TOTALLY DIFFERENT WTH
Am I the only one that think the vocals slightly remind BMTH's type of style ?
I’ve said it elsewhere, but if you like the ambient/screamo, try the beautiful mistake light a match
Other video is already copystriked 😭
Edit: it's back
Darko member: Hey any ideas for the video?
Darko member2: You see what Spiritbox did?
Darko member: Yea lets do that!
Wow. The emotion in this... reminding me of Constance for sure. Crazy good.
That switch up in style was very BMTH like
On the verge feels in this song...
I didn't know what to expect, but I expected it to be good, and it was great.
Very new age BMTHesque. Incredibly good track.
Feels are real in this one, it made me cry
A song without growls and breakdowns plays
Metalheads: I didn't expect that
Absolutely LOVE when bands can shift gears like this
Huge the amity affliction vibes
I'm getting massive Bring Me The Horizon vibes from this and I FULLY SUPPORT IT.
Same old 2010 bmth vibes
@@thatgu1y I was getting Like moths to flames vibes. Sounds exactly like the lead singer
I know what ya guys mean but it is more like Invent Animate mixed Darko Us
I've never listened to them before. And I absolutely loved this vibe
This was most definitely a one off from their normal style 😂. Every other song they put out has been some of the heaviest deathcore you can find 😂
@@hotpinkpapaya LOL thanks. I'm gonna check them out
