I am a retired world champion fighter (current stunt woman) & cancer survivor. Thank GOD I am in remission (praise JESUS) …. But i felt like life was over for me due to all the treatment I went thru & the effect it all had on my body. BUT, i found pickleball & feel ALIVE again. I’m 8 mths. -ish iN & FuLLy ADDICTED. I didn’t think i EVER would LOVE something as I once loved boxing 🥊 BUT i am TOTALLY digging & LOVING ♥️Pickle Ball ‼️ YOUR videos are SO DOPE & helpful. Thank YOU SOooO MUCH for putting these up and for being SUCH a GREAT teacher & example. I am learning a LOT from your sharing !!! Oh and Teddy ROCKS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hey Tanner! I just started playing pickleball 4 months ago and Ive been watching all of your videos. The people that I play with told me that I am improving every single day. I am watching each of your videos and then applying them the next day. Thank you so much you are helping me achieve my goal of getting 5.0!
@@martincordova5431 if you apply what is shown in these videos. Progress will keep happening. Great pointers. Explaining why it is such a good tip. ;-)
Teddy was awesome! Also, thank for all the information. I’ve been applying lots of your theories and techniques and it’s exponentially improved my game.
Great video! Been watching your other video's of your personal tournament game breakdown this past week. Fantastic content and advice you are giving. Learned a lot. Keep em coming
Tanner, I don’t think it’s a good idea to do this, it’ll tank your retention rates, and the more retention = more likely yt will promote your videos to new eyes! Maybe chapter your videos!
Teddy Rocks! She is quite impressive. I suspect when she shows up for open play with new people she surprises a lot of them. I have implemented many of your pointers and they have made me a better player. I do now notice a lot of players making the mistakes that you have mentioned and I have the knowledge to beat them.
Tanner, lately I've noticed that most pros(all women and now many men) use a 2-handed backhand for a counter shot on their non-dominant side. I noticed you use a one-hander. Would you say it's not necessary for a non-pro or it's just too difficult to teach for lower levels?
teddy rocks, id love to see some youth content on how to teach core pickleball shots/strokes to the youth. clearly teddy already has the shots im referring too.
@@tanner.pickleball I'd definitely watch, I have a 9 year old daughter with no racquet paddle background.

Tip #3 has me confused with another 60-second video of yours that I watched recently about when to slide-step vs when to scorpion. So, if I am expecting a speed-up from my opponent across from me should I slide-step and sit on my forehand, or should I keep my feet in place and point my paddle tip in a neutral position towards the ball waiting to see if my counter is a forehand or backhand?
TEDDY rocks!!!!! Tanner - Thank you! So this one is by far is my favorite video of yours. Now on to make sure I master each one!!! Teddy - You are amazing!!!!
@@tanner.pickleballI was wondering if you could give our group a shout out video clip, we are “North Jersey Pickleball”, we just started posting games on our own channel. Thanks. Keep up the great work!!
Great video as always, but I am not certain with a high paddle at the net. Watch JW Johnson he is considered the fastest hands in the game, he holds his paddle super low and so do many others. I keep mine low around the height of the net and I find it easier. Also Cincola and Zane have a video on this and they say to keep your hands low the level of the net. When you hold your paddle high it creates tension, let it sit low where your arms and hands naturally rest, way less tension in the arms. Also other reasons I believe low is better as in of most shots you hit your swing path is low to high not high to low.
Teddy Rocks! Tanner Rocks! Have been playing for one year and am now playing more strategically. So much to learn but this video is absolutely the best. Happy New Year of great pickleball🎉
I don't know the specifics, but well over 4 hours a day, sometimes more. Taking into account all of the travel and time spent watching pickleball for 3 years!
teddy rocks ! this felt like a compilation ...lets think outside the box for some new content. love the match breakdown videos. huge fan you have really helped my game! TY
Hello Tanner!! Thank you very much for the incredible work you do, you have helped me improve a lot!! I wanted to ask you a question, I started training with a sweet spot paddel, do you recommend using it all the time or alternating with my normal paddel? After 1 week I used my Crbn and the blow feels much better, but I don't know if I should alternate the use so as not to lose the sensitivity of each one.

Appreciate it! Let me know how it goes.

One suggestion, Tanner. Consider ending each video with a summery graphic of all tips or lessons (in this case ten).
Great suggestion, I'll look into it!

We don’t need longer videos like every other instructor. Keep them short.
