Best Times to Visit Boracay, Palawan, & Other Top Tourist Destinations in the Philippines (ENGLISH)

- Do you want to know when is the best time to witness the spectacular sunsets of Boracay, see the pristine beaches of Palawan, or visit several other top tourist destinations in the Philippines? Then you better watch this.
In this video, I will enumerate some of the most popular Philippine destinations and identify the BEST, the GOOD, and the least favorable times to visit these places. The two main criteria in identifying the months are the CLIMATOLOGICAL NORMALS and the PEAK SEASON of each location.
(1) Climatological normals refer to values of how rainy is it, how warm does it get around noontime, or how often does a tropical cyclone affect a place at a certain month. You can check these normals at:
www.pagasa.dost.gov.ph/climat...
and select the "Climatological Normals" tab.
(2) Peak season, on the other hand, refers to the months when a certain destination is most visited and when the price of commodities and services there are generally higher.
Throughout the video, you will learn that some peak seasons remain to be best times to travel while in some, it may be best to visit during the OFF-PEAK SEASON.

Yay, thanks much Jimothy! If you plan to travel mid-August, I suggest avoiding the western sides of the country. Among the popular to-go and family-friendly ones would be Albay, Cebu-Siquijor-Bohol, Siargao, and Davao.

Yes, we usually end the Habagat season in the 2nd or 3rd week of October 😊

Mejo maulan po sa Bohol in Nov and Dec (29 of 61 days with rain) at saka possible na may lumapit na bagyo, pero may chance pa rin na umaaraw

Hello po and sorry sa super late reply. If you plan to travel on August, peak yan ng wet season so I suggest you avoid places like Ilocos Region, Zambales, and Palawan.
Madalas maaraw in August sa Bicol, Samar-Leyte, Siargao, and Davao during Kadayawan Festival. Second best naman ang weather sa Bohol, Cebu, Boracay, and Cagayan de Oro.

I cundt understand when is the best time to visit boracay. Can u please tell when the weather is bright and sunny, no algae, sea visibility is the highest, no rain, blue sky, great sunsets, in Boracay? Plz will be very grateful. Which month the best?
It's clearly stated in the video plus the English subtitle.
In March to May, weather is fine (bright and sunny, blue sky, great sunset) so that suits your preference. However, it's peak season so there are lots of people and prices are higher, and it's hot and humid so it's more prone to algae formation.
"Best" is not always the sunny weather. There are many other considerations.
In March.. will the sea be covered with algae in Boracay? Plz confirm.. so when to visit boracay to have clear blue sky, with no algae, clear sea with crystal clear water.. will be grateful to you
