- The Leagues of Votann have recently opened an outpost on a remote part of the planet Hesperia. The Hernkyns have come into contact with the Imperials who rule the planet and have developed a thriving trade with them, which is currently in jeopardy for the recent raids of the Orks. A Kinhost has been sent to fix the problem and wipe the orks out of their trading network.

Loved the warlord duel at the end. A real Grudge Match. (It reminds me of Turnip28, where the leader model (the "Toff") can, at any time, challenge their opposite number to a duel (a "Toff Off"). Two Toffs enter, one Toff leaves.)

Never heard of it, is a similar but different type of game?
@@TabletopWarbands A miniatures game but more about deep toolbox of interacting abilities and multitude of strategic possibilities. Quite a long time ago already it was created as, kind of, anti-warhammer, for players who thought that absurd level of imbalance, randomness and tedium of resolution doesn't make a good game and they wanted something with intellectual challenge and deep, creative problem solving.
If you play board games you could compare wh40k to Monopoly and Warmachine to Brass or Food Chain Magnate.
@@TabletopWarbands Obviously you are not going to get as much viewership as with 40k, as, just like Monopoly, the simple, low-player-agency game is much more popular than a demanding one with a high skill ceiling and steep learning curve.

@@TabletopWarbands I hope you enjoy it :) And if not, there are many excellent games on the market with much better, more modern design than most GW games. Experimenting until you find the perfect one can be a lot of fun and most of these communities should be all too happy to teach you how to play, lend models etc!
