On the Spawning Ground talk in 2 vs 3, I think another part of the Grates that Greg mentioned is that Splatoon 3 added a lot of bosses that steal Inkable Turf very fast like the Flipper Flopper and Fish Stick, which means at the drop of a hat you can lose like 1/2 of the inkable ground unless you immediately deal with them while having to watch for the other Boss Salmonids. Spawning Ground is the pits in terms of bringing 2's levels in without considering how they play with 3's additions.
