I legit forgot that behind the big name....sometimes....there's just a normal sometimes silly dude. Also, this game is legit fun to see unfold! I'm all for adding a more lovecraftian spin to the character of Sonic in those games. A horrific, eldritch being who exists as a problem outside of the game's context, an abomination who waltzed into Sonic's World, replaced it's leader and turned it into a hellscape of perpetual suffering all the while devouring and consuming more of the game, creating more monsters to slay for no reason, spreading across our own world, hellbent on truning *every* reality into the one he now rules. This game actually seems pretty cool! The sprite work, atmosphere, and build up is really good! Now to be honest here, but I actually kind of like the fact that the movement and jumps are kinda bad because it makes it feel like some emulated copy or something that wasnt meant to be played.(Its kinda tough to explain my appreciation for it, mainly because I dont know what I am talking about half of the time but whatever) Also the music is really good
Yeah. It was actually said by the creator of the game that the physics were meant to be fucked up. Makes it feel more like a rom hack or something you shouldn’t have played. Atmosphere is awesome in this game!
i kinda enjoy this one. artstyle is pretty decent, and it seems like the creator was genuinely trying some uncanny/unsettling designs. kinda held back by the game's oldstyle pixelated style though, but he was trying pretty hard.

Why would everything be normal in a broken world where stuff like when knuckles is stuck in a hallucination as his outside body is getting assimilated and he'd probably never know cause he's stuck in that broken dreamscape? Of course nothings gonna be normal

Especially in this type of exe game that is mostly scripted, so now things are just annoying to control just to be annoying to control 😭 it also instantly takes you out of the experience because it’s very clearly a result of developer inexperience with the way it’s implemented and not something intentional.
the game is fast because of the high refresh rate of your monitor it happened to me when I was playing Sonic CD so you have to change it to 60hz, I thought I would be stuck with this speed but thank god I found the problem

Visually and audio-wise, this is AMAZING, but gameplay wise? It's uh...something. I hope this is eventually remade in a proper Sonic engine someday
