@@bigchopcards2395 he does this to protect his joints because when you're on gear your muscles grow faster than your joints can fully recover. thats why people like david laid had that back injury a while back
@@bigchopcards2395 11 working sets is not a lot lol especially since he's enhanced. during his bulk he hit one muscle group per day. so for his chest day he would have 3 heavy compound sets, 3-4 incline pressing sets where he drops the weight and focuses on form/contraction, and the rest of the sets are fly variations, 11 sets in total which can be done (not including warmups) in 45 minutes to 1 hour.
I like how it cuts away and then he has a spotter drenched in sweat. I like to think Sam went on a rampage, yeeting weights into orbit. They just cut it out and the guy behind him was the one who managed to talk him down.

Rn my max flat bench is 250lbs (so way weaker than Sam) but I'd probably be able to get 300lbs (with a lift off) if I did my rep or 2 like this. Now that I think about it, that actually is a good strategy to get your body used to high weights.

He used to remove his cap while doing bench in some videos. He failed the rep and did not have a spotter. As he was doing incline, the easiest way to do it is to lean forward and throw.
He's like Jeff Cavalier and Brock Lesnar combined, but not too much like either one. Very different physique from either one, but when combining them I can see that.
