The bottom lake holds fish up to 8lb, but you can only fish 2 sides and not the long wooden walkway, due to your backcast line will intrude onto someone else's land. The top lake is the one that holds fish up 25lb and is much deeper.
John Norris Ni1 WF6, but I put some Sunray line slick on it to help it float high in the water and run through the rod eyes quickly. The proline from Sunray is even better at distance with this rod, but I only wanted to cast 3/4 rods lengths at this water.
@@mdflyfishinguk5220 Yeah, I use lineslick too. Its a good product. I'm chucking my wee cheap airflo floater out to the backing. Farther than my more expensive rods too.
@@brianrob9757 when you fully extend the net, push the handle back 4/5 inch before you screw the locking thread tight. Its quite a long handle and this will give the middle joint of the pole more support if your landing bigger fish.
