Hi Teoh, nice to see that area again Suntec City and Marina Square. I was once part of the architectural team who designed the Esplanade Theaters on the Bay. Seems like a lot has change since the last time I lived there until 2004. Here in Toronto most of downtown is deserted and mostly everybody is working from home.

Wow, I am impressed by contact codes in case of potential exposure and hand sanitizers at entrances. This seems like pretty basic stuff that one would think would be implemented in my country but alas, no.

Tbh, I was shocked to see Singapore currently so unperturbed by the crisis. So while it seems no one in Singapore is feeling the mask/glove/quarantine lockdown is necessary- it makes it seem like everything is ok. But Teoh, please be careful, please. If anyone infected and asymptomatic gets on that train with you, hoards of people will get it at once. It’s not about whether or not you can survive it (you probably could with care and a ventilator), it’s about whether or not there are enough ventilators to save everyone, including you, during large and sudden spikes of positive cases as they overwhelm the medical facilities. Please be cautious. Can you take your skateboard to work? Are there masks available? My very best to you and your family. May you all stay healthy and have what you need. 💕 ps I would watch you make videos from photo references just the same. :)
Glad Singapore is working hard to get COVID-19 under control. Your message to stay in if possible is a good one. Still too many are not taking this serious and in Canada, the numbers are showing that. As well, there are citizens still trying to get home from vacation destinations, including Portugal.
Canada is just starting to have it's freak out, but the reality somehow still hasn't sunk in for many. From what I hear the Singapore government has been handling things very well. I wish other countries would copy.

I had just starting to be interested in urban sketching recently, and now this happens. I am self isolating after travelling when I knew better. At least I'll soon be able to water colour paint all my back yard flowers. Snow is melting fast!

I saw an interview with a Canadian in a Singapore hospital which gave a good description of how ahead of the US and Canada that Singapore is with this. I didn't understand how they were so good at contact tracing, until you mentioned the QR code at entry. So many countries aren't doing anything like that, so that's why more complete lockdowns are necessary and why people can't understand you walking around. Stay safe. :)

Wow, so many people😳- seems to me like nobody will see the danger! There are people near to the others- here in austria we must keep distance(2m), nearly two weeks ago we had a lockdown. Only important jobs must be done( most of them in homeoffice) but the problems and risk of people who take the bus or train to go to work is enormous! Good luck to you all- stay healty and at home if its possible!

This stay at home thing is ok but keeping a distance from other people is for me the best thing to do. No need to shelter at home like a caveman-go out for a walk, stay a distance away from other people and if u have to go inside somewhere where there is a lot of people wear gloves and a mask and enjoy the day as Teoh did :)
My city just put us on "lockdown" .☹️ I work for a company that may be considered Essential and stays open. I find out today. Everyone STAY HOME that is not on an essential list. Our health people in Kansas are telling us we are on a projection like Italy!

Germany will have soon big problems because they do not enough, they completely missunderstand this situation...they need more Hospitals, doctors and nurses etc but most of them will be ill in time...important is to hold the newinfections down and this can hold into the summer...best wishes!
Teoh, it may help you to view the TH-cam video with the title "Chinese Doctor on how to stay safe." The doctor is a lady with 12 years of experience as a general practitioner in China. She has a baby and explains several steps she takes every time she goes out, to protect herself and her family. (I found her detailed instructions on hand washing helpful.)
Muted spark....I can’t even get a slot here in Manchester ...Tesco and Sainsbury’s only show three weeks in advance and not slots available for either online or click and collect. There are shops locally but I am in the vulnerable group on two counts. Luckily have supplies for now...and have had some kind offers of help..but why should I put someone else at risk, just because they are younger?
Please, everyone. STOP THE HOARDING!! For real, my family is out of toilet paper and I’ve been to every single store in my town and they’re all out. The grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations, etc., all the necessary shops will remain open and will continue to receive shipments. No need to hoard!
