Nice acquisition, PaPa! The AF 355 Baldwin diesel loco has a rear screw hole crack, VERY common. The 290 Steam Loco has a tin tender, fastened to the chassis by four metal tabs that some/all are twisted off. Both locos are good runners. You did VERY well! Enjoy! 🚂
A lesson - - The bulbs you call post bulbs are really known as bayonet bulbs. You push them into the socket and then you give a little twist. Now you know the correct name for these bulbs.

I have wondered why the prewar Flyer gave up three rail and converted to S . Could they have been infringing on someone`s copyrights?
I saw a video somewhere that told the story of why but I can’t remember what it was
They wanted to make 2 rail because it was more realistic.
