Leave a like please :3 PLEASEEEE :333333 Q&A link: forms.gle/yxKHcH6DtJLWg4ri6 I WILL NOT BE MAKING A PARODY OF THIS SEASON UNTIL THE ENTIRE MOVIE TRILOGY RELEASES!
Hard disagree on Muichiro being unaffected by his brother's death. The entire premise of Muichiro embodying a "distracted and unbothered" character trope is that it's a defensive response to his trauma, trauma that was so intense that he suffered from an extreme version of dissociative amnesia so potent that he literally adopted his brother's personality as a means to cope. His constant forgetfulness and unbothered disposition isn't for "haha I'm edgy prodigy character that's different from the rest of the cast!!!" but rather a legitimate mental response to detachment; he constantly forgets things and distances himself in relationships so that, in the event he loses them again(as he did with his brother,) his mind doesn't have to work nearly as hard in order to protect his mental state. It's only after he accepts his brother's death and embraces his own autonomy/identity(the "Mui" in Muichiro sequence best exemplifies this,) that he begins to become his own person and truly begin acting like a child again(because remember, he IS only 14.) He's not the most compelling or well written character in all of fiction, but his premise is really solid and I'd easily put it up against 90% of Mid Hero Academia's disposable ass character roster.
And just like muichiro most of the problems this man argued about the characters can be easily explained like this. I understand if he watches demon slayer for the fights, but if thats the case then he should't make videos about character interactions and story flow. Just seems biased and dumb
Man I get the complaints but I seriously enjoyed the slower pacing and more character work we got. Made the Hashira feel more like actual characters as opposed to just superhuman with swords and really let Tanjiro shine as a main character. Plus it’ll just make the big moments in the IC arc hit that much harder On top of that Tanjiro’s growth in terms of strength feels way more natural now and not as forced or rushed as it did in the manga. If someone doesn’t enjoy the slower paced stuff, that’s fine always of course but I think calling it “ass” when there were tons of people who enjoyed this season feels disingenuous on some level.
Makes sense. And if this is pretty much a filler mini season... that means Ufotable surely already is cooking the first movie. Does that mean it's not gonna be a long wait or something?
Whole point of this arc is set up for the next one and to give you more time with the Hashira. Sure it absolutely could’ve been a few less episodes but I think a movie format for a mostly fighting arc (infinity castle) makes way more sense. And when I say mostly fighting it’s like 95% fighting lol. One of the biggest complaints from readers was “we didn’t get enough time with the Hashira” so I’m assuming Ufotable was trying to fill that gap and make a lighter season so they could work on the movie.
Look, as someone who’s read the manga…..I don’t mind them giving us a final season happy moment at all, cuz there will *not* be another happy moment ever.
bro even when zenitsu was on the brink of death he remembered his "grandpa" and thats what made him survive a bit longer before turning into a spider.he always thinks about his grandpa. he has many memories.
Right. (SPOILER WARNING) It's like if your older brother became a serial killer and so your Dad commits sepuku and slowly bleeds out (very painful). Of course it would make you furious and determined to get revenge. It's not at all the same as seeing Rengoku (who he just met that day) die or seeing a Demon almost kill his friends (because they didn't die and that demon is dead anyway sooo). Zenitsu is somewhat cowardly because he isn't really as driven as, say, Tanjiro, and so he's training and going on missions more out of obligation than anything. Of course he doesn't want to do very painful training or very dangerous missions. But now that he has a strong motivation he decides killing Kaigaku is more important than anything, including is own well being, so he locks in. Afterwards he reverts back to his normal self lol.
@@timothycontoveros4699 he doesn’t really develop from it, he just gets mad, fights and is the same afterwards. Also we see the grandpa like twice lol and Kaigaku once his are we supposed to be invested in this? He’s fighting over someone we’ve barely seen, and the fact that you have to justify it proves it needs justification outside of story, which makes it just bad writing
My guy, I don’t think that you got Zenitsu’s situation down too well. You said that him and his master barely have any interaction is like saying Tanjiro barely had any interaction with his family. Just because you couldn’t see the interaction doesn’t mean that it didn’t happen. And also Zenitsu isn’t Kaiga’s dad, they’re their own people so they went different paths. That was Kaiga’s own decision to become a demon, it had nothing to do with zenitsu. It’s just that this decision he made, got their master killed for it which made Zen mad. Also saying that this was “unearned” and that “he shoulda got this mad when the team was about to die” is very wrong. That’s like saying I should get angrier for my friends death over my parents death as Jigo was like father to them so he wasn’t just some ordinary “old fart”. And I also caught how you were talking about slow pacing but it really seemed like you only cared about the fighting scenes anyways which shows some type of double standards. I really think that you messed up on that part instead of just calling it “Bad Writing” without actually putting effort into trying to understand the plot instead of saying “everything’s bleak without the phenomenal animation”
the "didnt see it doesnt mean it didnt happen" argument is one of the most invalid things you can bring up, of course the viewers know this, if we are told that character 1 has known character 2 for x amount of time, you would expect them to be very close or have a consistent amount of interactions, this SHOW the viewer that they are actually close, Zenitsu and his master have none of that, we are only told that character 1 has known character 2 for x amount of time. I don't know why you brought up Kaigaku's choice, pretty irrelevant but whatever. your argument for "i would be more upset if my parents died" is good on paper, but is invalidated by what i said before, this bond was never shown or conveyed in any way, you cant say "character 1 has known character 2 for x amount of time and they are best friends" and then only have them interact 3 times over the span of 3 seasons and then kill him off randomly, thats not a friendship, thats a plot device, something to keep the plot for that character and/or story going with no explanation, you never showed the viewer that they were close, you never conveyed how much they meant to character 1 except for a few words, you want to make it believable. you can go ahead and say "not reading allat" or "your glazing", i dont care, im just pointing out the faults in what your saying, objectively, all his criticisms are valid and are shared among MANY other people, demon slayer is most enjoyable when there is combat, when you dont need to focus on the story, thats where it excels, but when you get an arc that makes you focus on the story that you spent no time fleshing out, it brings down the season, this was season 4, the anime tried adding things to make it more enjoyable but in my opinion didnt work at all, it made an already mediocre arc drag on for too long, hope this clears things up, no i will not be saying anything back if you respond, just read this and go on with your day please :)
@@KeaganPlays you nit picked the SH#T out of my comment and then just refused to answer the main reason why Zenitsu got mad in the first place and said “I don’t even know why you brought up Kaigaku’s choice, pretty irrelevant if you ask me.” IRRELEVANT?!?!?! THATS THE WHOLE POINT!!! It’s just that people like you want’s AAA+ Story writing 24/7 in everything even knowing that we’re literally breaching the last Arc. We’re lucky to get even this much as this next arc is finna be non stop battling back to back and you wanna add more filler for Zenitsu and his master, that’s gonna make people mad and if they do add on, then they’re at a risk for plot holes and NOBODY likes that. Think about how we treat Naruto, people makes FUN of that anime about its filler, filler is time consuming. Most fans just like to know what’s the reason and why it’s like this and we got it. Imagine if we got into the infinity castle and then get a whole filler because of people like you. They legit gave us enough info to understand why Zen is mad (his Master committed fu#king Seppuku because his Senior became a demon) Simple, understandable, organized and to the point AND it shows what would’ve actually happened to Sakonji if Nezuko woulda killed a human from waay back then. You never caught that detail huh. And I DON’T CARE if you come back, I just need this here incase others come so that they saw how you nit picked through my comment and said some B.S. you came together with
@@KeaganPlays what you said about the character 1 knowing character 2 and are said to be best friends and then only have them interact 3 times is incorrect. A lot of anime do that so why pick on demon slayer for it? A good example like this is Ash’s Mom from Pokémon, do we even have a name for her 😂 even if we do, there’s a lot of anime’s like this. And plus Zenitsu’s Gramps was validated to be his foster father and was also a father figure to him. Every anime does not have a filler telling you about said character that we did not see so why are you picking strictly on demon slayer?
@@V.KaiserX dang man, no need to blow up like that, I was being hella respectful, I didn't nit-pick this entire thing, if you had accused me of something like that id expect you to back it up yet you don't, and the comment was never about answering the question, it was about how the answer's execution is flawed, I don't expect a perfect story, hell my favorite show is the dragon ball series and that is far from perfect so my bar isn't all too high, I'm like this with any media I consume, I just named a few of my criticisms of DS. But you insult me saying how I expect a perfect story and then switch topics instantly to how lucky we are since we got this season this season. You say that I want to get more details about Zenitsu's master, which would be great but then you say it would cause more plot holes? That's not how it works, doing this would remove plot holes and flesh out Zenitsu's character arc a lot more, the reason I said bringing up Kaigaku's choice was irrelevant was because you just mentioned it and made no ties to your original point, which you could have calmly clarified instead of pulling this stunt. While yes we understand why Zenitsu is mad, it isn't executed well, which was the entire point of my comment, I was saying the way you say it made sense wasn't valid, lets out this in real life scenario, if someone said they were best friends with someone for 10 years but they never talk to them, and you have only seen them interact twice, I feel like you would question if they are best friends, hope this helps clear up any confusion with my point. You then bring up how it shows what would happen to Sakonji, which is completely irrelevant for 2 reasons, 1. We were told exactly what would happen to him in the first hashira meeting if nezuko were to eat a human, and 2. Their situations are not related in the slightest, Zenitsu's master had never sworn his life to anybody and overall, dealing with very different situations, so don't act like your being smart for bringing up something that isn't remotely the same or relevant to the conversation. I did not nitpick your comment, I feel as if I did cover everything you said there, but just to prove I didn't nitpick that comment I tackled every detail you said in this comment, I hate being shown as a not genuine person, but I do hope this helps and I hope you have a good day, also if you wanna say fuck or shit just say fuck or shit, no need to censor yourself, it's a comment section
This is an OPINION Does he care about anything thats not fighting?? 😭 Edit: I really don’t like how he ignores anything that isn’t combat and he just doesn’t like the bonding time between characters but hey, he’s not me
nope, he seems to only care about the fights. Character building and story building are considered boring fillers to someone like him who mainly watches for the fights.
I mean zenitsus mentor saved him from starving on the streets and taught him to be a decent demon slayer so I wouldn’t say it’s some weak excuse for character development. But that’s just me
@@SomebodyAteMyCookies it’s in season one its not a spoiler how far in demon slayer are you, also if you really don’t want spoilers maybe don’t read it the first line in my comment is enough evidence that I’m talking about stuff in the anime and if you don’t want to be spoiled then don’t read it
@@Mo0nikson i mean it does have good action but i think people should look at it from the perspective of the directors. Because its a movie there will be filler for a quite small but nessessary arc thats needed to continue the story. Still the manga is way better to read than the anime in terms of story
@@thealmightyswordsman6484 did you even watch the first episode? Tokito told that when he has a similar fever like he has during fight, shinobu once told him his hear rate. While he was fighting he has the same heart rate like he did when he had the fever. So he assumed it's roughly that heart rate.
@@MohammedAhmad-t5onot sure but I think it activates when a user is in a life or death kinda fight, which he wasn't in when at the Butterfly Mansion. But these conditions meet in his fight against UM4, which activates his mark. Also to note he interacts with a person who is already marked prior to the fight (Tanjiro) which is canonically also a condition to unlock the mark
Well at the end, this season is just trying to get you to meet the hashira and start actually liking them before they (spoilers) get absolutely eviscerated in the Infinity castle arc.
THAT'S NOT HOW YOU GIVE A SPOILER WARNING YOU HAVE TO PUT A SPOILER WARNING AT THE TOP AND PUT THE SPOILER SIX LINES BELOW SO YOU HAVE TO CLICK READ MORE TO SEE IT AND NOW I'M SPOILED
SPOILER !!!!! I dont understand why yall hating on this season. I think ufotable was trying to bring us closer to the Characters and their personalities. For example (spoiler) the training with obanai told us he hates tanjiro and is a coldhearted, so when he dies protecting tanjiro againts fight with muzan it envokes really big feelings in us. I know wthis is alot of yapping already, but another example is Gyomei, we know that he is kind and caring, so when in episode 8 he gets really mad it also envokes feelings in us. There are alot of examples like this and I think that is one of the reasons i really like demon slayer. Altho i really agree with the same looks of other demon slayers, they could have been more creative with it, but they all die protecting hashiras when they fight againts muzan, so i think it doesnt really matter. Also nezuko survived the sun cuz when she was little she ate soup with blue spider lily as a main ingridient. Also demon slayer mark is activated not by alot of stress but when ur in death situation. Tokito was fuckin impaled by sum spiky toothopics and drowning in water pot. Mitsuri was againts upper 4 strongest form, and she almost died too if tanjiro wouldnt kill upper 4 main body. One last thing about the thing how tokito is so strong. He takes on 2 hashiras at age 14, because he got the demon slayer mark already, and they dont. overall season rating: 6/10
@@nathen_ what does blue spider lily do ? make demons imune to sun. Shinobu ate the pink flowers demons hate, and so she got poisonous blood. So its only natural to think that if nezuko ate spider lily she would get the effects of it
it also shows how huge the gap between the pillars and the rest of the corps is and how tanjiro is slowly catching up to them so hopefully we wont get any "plot armor suddenly made him op" bs next arc
Here's my take of this season: Personally, I thought it was great, not perfect by any means but still had plenty of great moments of build up and character building. As many point out this season serves as the calm before the storm, setting up characters for their major moments later on. One of the best things this season did was set up the infinity castle arc, with the Nakime eyes being hinted and shown to be following the demon slayers, the masters sickness reaching it's peak and the need to increase the overall quality of the demon slayer core (which is the reason for the training to begin). I constantly hear the claim that "all the characters are just the one personality trait" which I do semi agree with but also don't really view as a negative. It makes the characters easily identifiable and easy to connect with, while also displaying key moments of growth far clearer as seen with Muichiro, Genya and Giyuu for example. That's another thing I appreciate with this season, showing how much each character has grown. You commented the Muichiro paper plane sequence was unnecessary but I heavily disagree, it was done to show how the once isolated and cold Muichiro is now able to express his hobbies and interests with others especially since he missed out on a large portion of his childhood. I do think it was a bit too stretched out but it was still a great scene. One more comment of mine is about Tanjiro, I've seen countless people say he's a bad main character since he has too little development and depth, which to me just isn't the point of his character at all. Tanjiro is a flat character, meaning his primary role in the story is to inspire others and allow them to become better people. This can be seen countless times with Zenitsu, Inosuke, Genya, Kanao, Muichiro, Giyuu, etc. What makes him compelling to me is his limitless empathy and he's amazing role model for any audience. As for some more general thoughts: - Animation and Visuals are top notch as always - Action was great (IDK why you said there was no action, we had Tanjiro vs Obanai, Tanjiro vs Uzui, Sanemi and Obanai vs Muichiro and Muzan vs the Hashira) - Episode 8 was a masterpiece - Gave us more downtime with likeable characters - Great set up for the final arcs Was it perfect, definitely not - Some overly long and sometimes unnecessary dialogue - Scenes that are way too long - Comedy was hit or miss - Pacing wasn't bad but it was inconsistent, we had a whole episode with Muichiro then a few minutes with Mitsuri There are quite are few of your points which I either heavily disagree with or just aren't accurate but like you said it's your opinion. This is mine and I'd personally give the season a 7.5/10 Anyway I'm sorry if I said too much, I do really enjoy watching your videos even if I don't agree with more than half the points made.
About your Muichiro comment (and this is pretty relevant to all characters moments) Muichiro is only 14, and the majority of Hashira are ~20. In other words, basically still children.
This is a much more balanced take on this season. I for once actually liked this season more than the previous one. It had more character moments, interations, some development (tomioka, genya and sanemi, gyomei and yes even zenitsu), great animation and sound design (something NO ONE TALKS ABOUT and is probably the best trait in demon slayer for me) and this build up for the final battle in the infinity castle was done amazingly. The issues i have with it are pretty much the same as you. Still would give it an 8/10 even tho i know most people would not agree on that. I simply enjoyed it that much
Some of these aren't even critiques? Complaining about Muichiro fighting two other Hashira when he's a Hashira stated to have became one in 3 months obviously showing he's different. Even Season 2 Tengen thought of Muichiro and Rengoku and said there are much more talented people than him.
So abt the other demon slayers having similar character designs They are ment to look like normal people, so they all have normal black hair. The hashira and main cast have distinct character designs because it’s easier to pick them out in a shot of multiple characters this way. Stone, Water, and Love hashira have naturally black hair (But Mitsuri’s hair color change due to her diet). Zenitzu was struck by lightning. Sanemi was randomly born with white hair, but you could make a case for him having so much repressed trauma and stress as a kid his hair could be that way from stress. Nezuko’s hair changed after she became a demon I think This is also the reason all the MCs and Hashira have distinct kimonos for this same reason. If there were demon slayers with different colored hairs and etc, the audience could be lead to believe they were more important characters (even though yes those guys are comic relief and death fodder) Also their hair styles are different. Demon slayer characters have super similar face shapes so there’s a case for that.
This isn’t an excuse though because it makes no sense in the story for a particular group of characters to all have interesting character designs while the rest are rinse and repeat.
@@Hi-sb2yg From an artistic standpoint it makes more sense. Characters with brighter colors stand out more. If they corps members didn’t wear uniforms then they probably would also look a lot more different. All of them are also at peak builds because that’s the minimum to slay a demon. Looking closely, almost every one has a different haircut. The face is the same on all of them tho. Which I can’t make an argument for, it’s hard to make a different face for every character (Horikoshi (MHA Mangaka) is exceptional at making all his characters faces unique which I find super impressive) but for background characters it’s less important. Still, giving them all at least different eye colors would have helped a ton. Rinse and repeat for background armies is super common tho? Especially if it’s a large group with uniforms. The amount of time it takes to individually design and animate all these little details which set characters apart is why background characters are often reused. Also noted that Tanjiro is considered extremely gifted (Thank you anime tropes ig) and his kimono has a lot of personal meaning to him, thus he wears it over his uniform. Zenitzu got his from his gramps I believe. Inosuke doesn’t like wearing normal clothes (Entertainment District Arc) Nezuko is not part of the corp. Most of the hashira got their kimono/unique clothes from various sources (Shinobu her sister, Rengoku his family, Giyu from his friend, Mitsuri from various, Obani from Rengoku’s father (I think), Uzui from his Shinobi days, and I don’t know enough about the last two to give a good answer) Currently in the planning stages of making my own animated show so I’ve been doing as much research on this as I can when designing my characters. The MCs always need something to draw attention/interest to them (Tanjiro’s mark, Naruto’s face markings, Ichigo’s bright orange hair, etc) Background characters that are more for meaningless dialogue or death fodder will have less interesting designs (Example: A lot of MHA background characters have non-visual quirks. They look like normal people and that helps draw attention to the MCs) While the designs for the ordinary Demon Slayers are not optimal (ESPECIALLY MURATA LMAO) the author does at least make an effort so their silhouettes are different for the vast majority of them (For example, I noticed there’s a reoccurring one who has a shaved head while another has shoulder length hair.) I do wish that ufotable had slightly added different colors or etc to their designs for diversity tho. It makes telling them apart in faster scenes easier.
This season was supposed to build out the characters personalities so that it leaves a bigger mark on us once some of them die, make us care instead of just action
blud did not watch video. like be real man demon slayer does not have good story telling, it's quite famous for it actually it's widely known to be a turn off your brain anime. Demon Slayer trying to do story telling is like watching a person with dementia speak it does not do a good job at it
@@joecaa3722 I don't exactly get what you're saying, demon slayer has a simple plot, but that doesn't mean it's bad, it works well for what the kind of story demon slayer is trying to achieve, a simple yet satisfying story.
Since Kamado family is associated with hinokami kagura (Technically sun breathing) and nezukos mother fed her children with tea with blue spider lilies (which Muzan wants so he can resist the sun), it does make little sense that nezuko resisted the sun
I read the Demon Slayer manga when i finished watching swordsmith village arc and i was in the middle of infinty castle arc when they released ''Hashira Training arc teaser'' I was like: ''WHAT ISNT THIS ARC LIKE 5 CHAPTERS?'' then i thought to myself: ''Ohhh they will prob make 24 ep arc and the first ep (40 mins) will be the hashira arc then the rest is finna be peak'' This infact didn't happen...
@@Neuroveili just wished they didnt make a season 4 just for the hashira training arc. Honestly I wouldn't have preferred a 40 minute training arc tbh, I think this season honestly made me like the characters more, making it sadder when they meet their fate in the last 2 arcs 😭 but the 3 movies is so ass
gabe casually hating the backstorys, lore, characters motivations, realationships with other characters, dynamics of demons slayer corps and just see them as fighting machines that make us watch action, fighting isn't the only thing that makes demon slayer demon slayer you and some other few people just think this way and yes I watched your video

@@jakobgei6390 Something that was insanely slept on in the latest episode was the character dialouges. The interactions between muzan and ubuyashiki and dialogue, mixed with the insane scenery made it an insanely memorable moment. And tamayo's emotion was shown in her dialogue, animation, and voice acting. And the hype that gyomei's character built was brilliantly executed in just about a minute of fighting time. Not to mention the score. I think there were more than 3 different OSTs that played in about 15 minutes. And every one matched the scene perfectly. This episode was easily the best episode of demon slayer. You could've argued before that it was carried by animation, but now it's pretty hard to argue about that. Hope this keeps up in the upcoming movies
@@jakobgei6390 I say character steirotypes are funny and sometimes gets emotional too like gyomei I like their personalitys and their motives along with over the top animation and action like I sat through all of ubayashiki and muzans convo with no boredom they are fascinating if you ask me
18:04 Gabfr is kind of correct but… SPOILER Ok so my friend told me about some shit in the manga so cprrect me if im wrong. But Zenitsu Was scammed by a woman who he thought was his girlfriend but she was only using him for his money and was put into massive debt and the only way to pay off that debt was to train in lighting breathing under Jigoro more commonly known by Zenitsu as “gramps” implying he was a father figure to him. He trained under gramps with his Senpai kaigaku who could only “master” five out of the six thunder brething style (there is technically 7 styles but only zenitsu can use that like the 13 sun breathing form that only yorouichi could use) while on the other side zenitsu could only “master” the first form so Jigoro though it was only fair to share the title of thunder pillar of course kaigaku the little selfish shit he is despised that. So after Kaigaku and Zenitsu joined the corps Kaigaku was flamed cus he couldnt learn the first form of thunder breathing and since Zenitsu honestly found him respectable besides he egotistical and selfish traits so he defended Kaigakus honor and because of that he got beat on multiple occasions proving he had a sanemi, genya type relationship besides the fact that they never had a “strong bond”. Now the reason this is all important is because (I might be wrong but idc) so im pretty sure if your disciple turns into a demon you have to commit seppuku (suicide) so Zenitsu is angry that his mentor/father figure died in pain (no one was there to cut his head off) and the fact that his elder that he looked up chose such a cowardly decision that no one should accept made him lock the fuck in.. BONUS FOR READING MY YAP SESSION YAYYYY!!!,: Kaigaku is the reason Gyomei himejima is a hashira. He led the demon that killed everyone besides gyomei in the temple (i know that wasnt much if a bonus but I DONT CARE also this took 10 minutes to write so the least you could do is like my comment thank you) 🤓👆
@@saraha.1336 it was merely for a few seconds, didnt necessarily disturb their entire training session. Besides, this is practically just resting, all of them were stressed so they needed something to ease up their minds, which would of course benefit their training more rather than just being stressed and learning nothing.
I ain’t gon lie bro they be yapping about bullshit in those voice lines, like I’m not finna listen 7-8 minutes of dialogue just for a couples sentences about what we already know
Dont understand why people watch Demon slayer wanting to only see them Fight in every single Episode. Arent those type of people the boring ones? How are you gonna learn about the characters when you see everyone fight in each episode. Some People need to get off Anime
Exactly. It’s no secret that the fight sequences are the best part of demon slayer, but I feel like Gabfr’s opinion is based around the fact that demon slayer should only make fight sequences, and anything else is pointless. It’s seems that he only enjoys the fight scenes, which is fine, but it doesn’t mean this character development arc was rubbish.
I’m sorry, but I hate these types of people literally 10 minutes just talking about that season and then fucking a whole 20 minutes yapping about how you hate the season This season was all about training. It wasn’t about fighting and shit If he just hit demon slayer, then don’t watch it
Then why’d you finish the video? Also the criticism he gave about the season was pretty reasonable, just because you can’t handle your favorite show being criticized it doesn’t mean the criticism isn’t valid.
@BBQ_Bacon_Burger I agree with you, but some of his reasons aren't 100% valid, he kept calling this season un canon and saying it contained too much, but this season was meant to draw out a little more story about each hashira before the end of the whole show. Knowing what happens in the final arc I personally think ufotable did better than the manga with slowing down the pace before everyone fights muzan. Adding more to the story doesn't make make the show non canon, it just draws out more of the hashira's background before the final battle, which imo is better pacing then what the manga did.
*Spoiler* The slayer mark does have consequences to using it. Unlocking your slayer mark makes you die before the age of 25. They haven’t say in the anime yet, but I’m sure they will cover it in the movies.
I do like this season a decent amount, but some scenes are complete and utterly horrible, for example, when Mitsuri feeds Tanjiro a fucking pancake was just an unneeded scene, another example, as you said, is the paper airplane scene, it was simply unneeded as it gave nothing to the plot and when are we ever going to see this again? Is Muichiro going to kill an upper moon with a paper airplane? (Sarcasm), another example of this is Tanjiro screaming “Mr Giyu!” for a good 15 minutes and when Shinobu says Kanao is ready to hear how Shinobu’s sister dies and is never mentioned again and probably won’t be explained because of the Infinity Castle Arc. I did like some parts in this, like the sparring scene with Obanai Mui and Sanemi and also the fact that see the infinity castle is playing on Sanemi’s mind and isn’t going unnoticed and sets up foreshadowing for the film trilogy and the ending of episode 8. Muzan ominously walking up to the Ubayashiki Mansion was epic and an episode to definitely watch again as it basically saved the entire season from being the worst imo so far. One inconsistency I picked up was Tanjiro’s mark, in Swordsmith Village Arc he had Yoriichi’s mark but in Hashira Training Arc, he had a similar but different mark which is a plot hole. Also why is Inosuke barely in the episodes anymore? He’s my favourite character and I need to see more of him in the Infinity Castle Arc. One more thing, ever since Entertainment District Arc the intro songs have been fucking ass, Ufotable need to hire a new soundtrack team for the opening song.
@@naya_avacado4848 Well the owner of the cat is a demon that has a stealth blood demon art. Does it not make sense??? People are just shitting on this anime for the sake of it
We may barely know Jigoro, but for Zenitsu he was like a father and a teacher, so ofcourse he’d lock in when the only guy who actually had faith in him killed himself
I personally liked this season. It gave the viewer a chance to see how different people interact, and explore their personalities a little bit more. I may have enjoyed it more because I was in the middle of watching a bunch of more light hearted comedy type shows, but I genuinely think that even without all the action, this had a nice overall effect on how the story works. This season showed that the other slayers were weak as hell, and actually required the training instead of the training just being a vehicle for plot. It also showed how much tanjiro grew in skill with his short time. Before this season while it was shown he was strong, I never believed he was close to hashira level, but as shown in all of the duals with the hashira, he infact was. Anyways all im trying to say is that while I do respect gab's opinion, I also believe that there are a few aspects which he decided were bad when they could be taken in another direction (ex: muichiro's backstory interrupting the fight was annoying, but isn't it better to at least sort of have an idea of the character then not?)
The paper airplane part was infact there for a reason, it was a resting point for all the characters training tiredlessly and for them to let loose. I get it may not be relivent but it reminds us that we all need to take a break sometimes and do something we enjoy other than getting bound and overwhelmed by responsibilites. It like a workout but without rest the body does not heal.
25:17 there are so may topics i could take on but i aint gonna yap too long. They explained in the first episode and in the manga that demon slayers that activate the mark die at 25
the reason he could tell gyomei was innocent is because his clan have the ability to prophecise stuff or something Hey guys this is a quick add on not part of the actually comment but this is my first time ever getting fifty likes on a comment along with a reply from a content creator and just wanted to say I’m rlly happy, thx to the great fifty guys!
His clan has really good intuition, so yeah that's probably how he could tell. I bet he could sense from talking to Gyomei that Gyomei was not a serial killer, and since he obviously knew about Demons he probably just figured out that a Demon was involved and realized what had happened. And I mean, from his perspective it makes more sense to assume that it was a Demon attack than that a young man running an orphanage randomly killed all but one of the children there in the middle of the night. It's just that the general public doesn't really believe in Demons and thus assumed it was all Gyomei.
Can really tell you didn’t read the manga🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ demon slayers is more than just fights dude. We needed this breather cause there’s no going back now
I agree with you. While watching this video,i saw what people were trying to say was the reason demon slayer is bad. But it isn't. See Demon Slayer while it is very known for its outstanding action,it is also known for its perfect balance between action and comedy, backstory and character development. Im not going much into all of that but theres a few examples of these three thungs that also make demon slayer demon slayer:1. Zenitsu can be really funny at times, but those parts when his asleep i didn't find people who weren't hyped on. Also backstory,Zenitsu,Gyomei,Sanemi,Inosuke and much more characters have unique backstories that stand out from eachother from how good they are. Character development, Genya changes from rude, mad and careless to kind and carring,as well as characters like Giyu,Tengen,Zenitsu,Kanao and etc.
25:16 actually there is a consequence that they will die at the age of 25 after unlocking there demon slayer mark but it still quite a long time for Tanjiro to live except for the hashiras since they alr 20 or smt
the muzan issue is half valid, tbh it wouldnt be so interesting if muzan was smart enough to pull shit like you said, like mostly everyone would me dead i like how muzan did things even though he is smart he is imperfect while trying to be a perfect person, he wants to do all that because he likes to tease and taunt.
you're right. i have to agree with most of the points made in the video. but to be completely honest, I really did enjoy this season too. not as much as entertainment district or mugen train, but I did enjoy it. I liked that everyone was goofing around because in my mind, it makes sense. everyone has only heard of muzan. he's the big bad, the enemy they don't know. none of the main characters have ever really met muzan, they don't know what he's capable of. so, instead of training down to their bones like we would (since we see what a different league muzan is in), they try. the work hard. but they 'fail'. none of them are really prepared, mentally or physically. and by the end, emotionally either. zenitsu's arc is too quick, there's no setup for most of the hashira arcs and absolutely, it's all going to be done in flashback. and you know what? I'll watch it. I'll still go and watch it and get hyped and cry when the heartbreaking moments happen (even though I know how much more they would hit with the right writing and foreshadowing). because at the end of the day, I still root for these depthless characters to win.
Spoiler? Spoiler Didn't they told in the story , the crow of tokito said it "ofcourse he is strong ,he is descendent of sun breathing user ofcourse" or something. And we thought he was descendent of yoriichi and we did saw kokoshibo in season 3. If you add 2 and 2 together with comment of tanjiro "But that isn't sun breathing".
The thing with zenitsu is that “The old fart” was his grandpa and he was the only person who believed in him when he first started and took care of him.
12:04 this was an incredibly compelling representation of the upper moons. Really captured their respective character traits and designs. Nearly brought me to tears.
I personally love this demon slayer but hate how they did this last season. I def think that if they were going to give SOOOO MUCH FILLER it could have been about the main 3 characters and not the hashiras that you see like 3 times in the whole show lol. (Or even just fleshing out the story a bit would be better)
Muichiro actually explained why he knew it was 102+ degrees, so long as you pay attention you’ll realize he said when he was being treated the thermometer read 102 and he’d probably cooled down by then.
Opinion with spoilers I loved the video, everyone has their opinion ofc, but i think you are giving demon slayer a fighting only machine, this season was for you to chill and have calm before the actual catastrophe its going to happen, its for the audience to atleast have a bond with the main characters, the hashiras and basicaly the important ones, you are telling about some plot holes, but thats just tell that you havent finished the manga, most of the things you said were probably responded in the manga, and in the seasons before, Zenitsu caring so much for his grandpa was shown in the first season, he thought of his grandpa when he was close to becoming a spider, he told that when he was all alone, his grandpa basicaly "adopted" him and gave him a house, ofc he is gonna grieve about it, doesnt mean he is not annoying, after the determination of having revenge agaisnt kaigaku, he is still the same annoying character, but for me that ive read the whole manga i know, and lastly because, i could go for a lot of things im wrong about things you said, the demon slayer mark, theres a consequence of unlocking this power and it is that when they turn 25 they"ll die, because they are "exchanging" years of life for a amazing boost, but as i said, if you havent read the manga, or dont remember details like zenitsu's backstory you are not gonna understand some parts of it, and ofc, if you dont look the characters as characters and not just a fighting machine, you are not going to like the season, the whole point of it is for you to empathize with the main ones, but thats just me, good vid btw, very funny as usual
Although I am a fan of Demon Slayer, I do agree with a lot of your points. There are some I don't. Here's my take on those: [SPOILERS FOR MULTIPLE FUTURE PLOT POINTS BELOW] The storytelling of Zenitsu's state of mind changing, although valid in my eyes, suffers more from production/direction than anything else. He doesn't feel like a main character because he's not often there. The entirety of the issues you had with it, and other problems, are mostly due to when they were shown, which I do agree with you heavily. Zenitsu did think about Gramps before. Unfortunately, that was only explicit twice. When we first met him, and he was about to turn into a spider. Which were both in the first season, nearly 5 years ago. Afterwards, he wasn't the focus on the Mugen Train Arc, so it wasn't explored further. Then it was the Entertainment District Arc. Which because it was made so short, it's focus was spent on Tanjito, Nezuko, Uzui, Gyutaro and Daki. This was also further impaired because the next arc, the Swordsmith Village Arc, entirely ignored other main characters like Zenitsu and Inosuke. Had we had another few episodes, in whatever season suited best, this would not be anywhere as big of an issue as it is now. You mentioned we have a LOT of character that we still don't know enough about. And yes, you are right (well, anime only at least) Most likely we will have major flashbacks in the middle of the fight in the final movie trilogy. In my opinion, that **is** a problem, but only in anime format. Because I feel like the pace set by a reading format doesn't translate perfect into a viewing one if that makes sense. While nearly identical, the way we learn about Yoriichi's story in the anime for example, feels completly different (imo, worse) than in the manga, which just reitarates my previous point. In the anime, Yoriichi, Muichiro and Zenitsu's stories feel poor and convenient, while (in my opinion at least) nailed Tanjiro, Gyomei, Gyutaro&Daki, and Rengoku. Which is really weird. For example, in the Swordsmith Village Arc, we had a few training episodes which were supposed to highlight three things: One, setting up Muichiro's character. Two, powering up Tanjiro (which was done very poorly imo) and Three, showing us a bit more about Yoriichi. I feel like Yoriichi showing up in the way it happened only gave more questions than asnwers to the general audience. People still believe he's Tanjiro's dad by the way which is insane. Whereas in certain moments, like daki being upset by Tanjiro's sun attacks which remind her of being burned alive when human, feel much more touching and organic. I do noty have an exact ideia as to why this happens but I can confidenty say this is an anime issue, instead of Demon Slayer as a whole. Nezuko... yeah, also has the same problem. I can tell you why she's conquered the Sun, and while you could say it makes sense (or not idk what you think), the anime again failed to convey that. I dont think even I will be able to explain it properly (english isn't my native language, sorry) but i'll try. Nezuko managed to do it because the themes of morality are very present, specially the idea of sin. Nezuko's blood is different not simply because she's different, but because she never consumed human blood, or more specifically, never commited the sin to go against humankind. Demons are the way they are because they resigned to be the worst version of themselves. Granted, it is completly unfair to expect most of them not to due to their backstory (like Gyutaro and Daki, or rather Gyu and Ume) but that's why Tanjiro and Nezuko finally changed the Demon Slayer world, because they're nearly unwavering in character. Nezuko only slipped against Daki because she was starving and beserk, and Tanjiro slipped and he thought Nezuko was about to die (which he himself admits to gyomei this season). But both of them had help and managed to stay on their path. Which is why Nezuko was different since the beginning. She sleeps to gain energy rather than consume blood. and she's the only demon to have a demon art that doesnt hurt humans but atually demons (take a shot every time I say demon). Muzan creates other demons in hope they mutate in a way to be of service to him. originally in was to only to help him find the blue spider lily he was so desperate before, but now he knows a demon has the only thing he wants in existence. He doesn't care about any other demon except maybe Upper Moon 1. And for that, Muzan encourages them to be the worst version of themselves. He encourages Gyutaro and Daki to hurt people in revenge, or Akaza to fight endlessly, or Rui to force others into family, etc. So while I firmly believe it's very nuanced, I see why you think they way you do. There are other points I wanted to discuss but frankly I'm tired spo hopefully I make a part 2 to this comment lol Nice analisys though, just hope you give my opinions a chance
Totally agree, another reason for her being able to conquer the sun is because she descends from sun breathing users. The Hinokami Kagura dance was the different forms of sun breathing that Yorichii taught Tanjiro’s ancestor and he passed it down. So it’s kinda explained somewhere in the manga I believe im not entirely sure, but its all the stuff you said combined with that small fact
not really, i think entertainment district arc was the peak, the last interesting arc tbh in infinity castle arc all the fights have interrupting flashbacks, ahh pulls, plot armor, uncoordinated fights etc
SPOILERS AHEAD!! (I just want to discuss something this youtuber have said) ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' You can't be fr saying Zenitsu and his sensei barely interact with each other, or that gramp's death isn't important enough to make Zenitsu lock in. Somebody needs to rewatch season 1 frfr. His teacher saved him when he was almost being sold by his ex, then took him in and taught him Thunder breathing and had never given up on Zenitsu. Are we like, watching the same anime and read the same manga? Zenitsu locking in isn't "character development", he has always been a comic-relief character who has a good personality despite being quite a pervert (but can you name a shounen series without one). Anyways, from the way that you skipped almost every scenes that a character yaps in the anime, it's understandable that you never get to fully understand the plot. If you aren't able tell that much, then you shouldn't comment on the way the story is written. (no offense :3)
@@Coolguy-mk7hg season four is SUPPOSED to be “filler” cuz this show has had non stop action for the other seasons, as well as that, it sets up for a great arc about the slayers in the infinity castle, and allows you to connect to the other characters before the end of the show. There was tons of hype moments and the use of cgi in the final episode was amazing. Literally have soooo many other reasons why this dude is wrong
What kind of back story do you expect when you are hunting supernatural demons that most demon slayers have a high chance of dieing form other than grudges against demons or being crazy I would like to know ur thoughts
So, let's talk about power systems. Demon Slayer's power system is intentionally simple. The Demons each have one type of magic ability (Blood Demon Art) and they have a strict hierarchy where the ones at the top are straight up stronger. Since Demons are at base stronger then Humans and very hard to kill, Demon Slayers use breathing techniques and intense training to be able to reach comparable levels of physical ability as them and then special swords that can kill the Demons if the cut off their heads. Simple. However, the worldbuilding and setup for the series is that the Demons have been around for 1000 years despite there being Demon Slayers for much of that time. Why is that? Well, it's because the top demons, and especially the First and Strongest Demon Muzan are stronger than the top Demon Slayers aside from a few specific cases (like Yoriichi) So, how are the Demon Slayers to win? Yeah sure there could have been some very complicated thing they could have done to become strong enough to defeat the top demons, but that wouldn't be simple and easy to understand and thus doesn't really suit Demon Slayer's power system. And so instead what happened is that Tanjiro, due to his heritage I think, is able to unlock a mark in the heat of battle, and then other top Demon Slayers do as well. Btw there is a very severe price to pay for activating the mark but I won't spoil what it is here. But this just serves as a cool way to elevate the top slayers to the level of the top demons without needlessly complicating things. I don't think this story would have been better if it had a bunch more conditions and limitations because it would have just been confusing for a lot of people and, tbh, the series isn't long enough to need that delicate of power balancing. Once the Top Demon Slayers and the Top Demons are more or less on equal footing, then we can have some exciting fights. Unlike in shows like Hunter x Hunter with its very intricate power system, battles aren't all but decided beforehand by who's conditions line up better or who was born more powerful, but instead by the actual events of the fight, which many people prefer. Because the power system and story overall is so simple and streamlined (compared to other Shonen), I also think the story can't really foreshadow stuff too much because it would just be too obvious. Like, there's too little going on for you not to make the obvious connections. If, for example, Nezuko had been shown at the beginning of the SSV arc to be trying to go outside repeatedly and looking frustrated and then we got the line that her blood was special it would've tipped off a lot of people to the idea that she is trying to resist the sun and thus undermine her sacrifice in the finale of that arc. Similarly, if they had revealed and explained Marks before the SSV arcs then many people would have just thought "oh I bet he'll awaken the mark soon" as opposed to genuinely thinking Muichiro was going to die. So, for that reason, I think the power system in Demon Slayer and the way it is expanded is fine- good even. It makes for straightforward and exciting fights, and while it may feel like an ass-pull in some instances for a character to unlock or use a new ability in the heat of battle, it is also very exciting and satisfying to see our heroes overcome impossible odds! My favorite moment of the show is still when Tanjiro first uses the Hinokami Kagura, and I think it's a perfect example of all of this. Tanjiro has only ever used Water Breathing to this point, so when he uses the final water breathing form and it doesn't work it seems like he has absolutely no chance. But then we get a very emotional and powerful scene of him remembering the traditional Kagura Dance passed down through his family, and how his Father made sure it was passed down to him, only for Tanjiro to awaken and use this technique to gain the upper hand in the battle and almost defeat a powerful foe! It makes logical sense that this family technique would be strong and well suited to him, and man it is satisfying to watch. The fact that we remember it alongside Tanjiro means that we really expect him to either die or get saved by Giyu once he is trapped, rather than remembering some earlier foreshadowing and thinking he'll be fine (although sure idk if anyone thought he would really die). To me it's executed perfectly. And the same applies to later arcs when a character is losing and then awakens a mark or something and is able to win because you genuinely don't know what will happen and then it's so satisfying when they do win.
Honestly I liked the hashira training arc, because of JJK. No joke. In JJK basically no world-building is expanded on and the characters stay enigmas up untill their death. And to me the world feels so much more empty because of it. It is my favorite series, but such things bug me so much, even to the point that I'd rather have the world-building be shitty, than not have it at all. And that's why I like this arc. Even though the character creation is not the best, at least it's there and the world feels so much more lively because of it.

Plus it’ll just make the big moments in the IC arc hit that much harder
On top of that Tanjiro’s growth in terms of strength feels way more natural now and not as forced or rushed as it did in the manga.
If someone doesn’t enjoy the slower paced stuff, that’s fine always of course but I think calling it “ass” when there were tons of people who enjoyed this season feels disingenuous on some level.

And when I say mostly fighting it’s like 95% fighting lol. Right.
(SPOILER WARNING)
It's like if your older brother became a serial killer and so your Dad commits sepuku and slowly bleeds out (very painful).

Here's my take of this season:
Personally, I thought it was great, not perfect by any means but still had plenty of great moments of build up and character building.
As for some more general thoughts:
- Animation and Visuals are top notch as always
- Action was great (IDK why you said there was no action, we had Tanjiro vs Obanai, Tanjiro vs Uzui, Sanemi and Obanai vs Muichiro and Muzan vs the Hashira)
- Episode 8 was a masterpiece
- Gave us more downtime with likeable characters
- Great set up for the final arcs
Was it perfect, definitely not
- Some overly long and sometimes unnecessary dialogue
- Scenes that are way too long
- Comedy was hit or miss
- Pacing wasn't bad but it was inconsistent, we had a whole episode with Muichiro then a few minutes with Mitsuri
There are quite are few of your points which I either heavily disagree with or just aren't accurate but like you said it's your opinion. This is mine and I'd personally give the season a 7.5/10
Anyway I'm sorry if I said too much, I do really enjoy watching your videos even if I don't agree with more than half the points made.
@@channelofnincha6139 preech my friend 🗣🔥 🙌
I simply enjoyed it that much
Well said.
Some of these aren't even critiques? Complaining about Muichiro fighting two other Hashira when he's a Hashira stated to have became one in 3 months obviously showing he's different. Even Season 2 Tengen thought of Muichiro and Rengoku and said there are much more talented people than him.
❤
So abt the other demon slayers having similar character designs
They are ment to look like normal people, so they all have normal black hair.
Nezuko’s hair changed after she became a demon I think
This is also the reason all the MCs and Hashira have distinct kimonos for this same reason.
If there were demon slayers with different colored hairs and etc, the audience could be lead to believe they were more important characters (even though yes those guys are comic relief and death fodder)
Also their hair styles are different. Demon slayer characters have super similar face shapes so there’s a case for that.
@@sparkydablaze good info 😀😀😀
I watch dragon ball so it’s fine with me lol. If you put goku’s hair on almost everybody, then you’ll get goku
@@V.KaiserX Yea, tbh I usually recognize Goku based on his outfit color
Inosuke doesn’t like wearing normal clothes (Entertainment District Arc)
Nezuko is not part of the corp.
Most of the hashira got their kimono/unique clothes from various sources (Shinobu her sister, Rengoku his family, Giyu from his friend, Mitsuri from various, Obani from Rengoku’s father (I think), Uzui from his Shinobi days, and I don’t know enough about the last two to give a good answer)
Currently in the planning stages of making my own animated show so I’ve been doing as much research on this as I can when designing my characters.
The MCs always need something to draw attention/interest to them (Tanjiro’s mark, Naruto’s face markings, Ichigo’s bright orange hair, etc)
Background characters that are more for meaningless dialogue or death fodder will have less interesting designs (Example: A lot of MHA background characters have non-visual quirks. They look like normal people and that helps draw attention to the MCs)
While the designs for the ordinary Demon Slayers are not optimal (ESPECIALLY MURATA LMAO) the author does at least make an effort so their silhouettes are different for the vast majority of them (For example, I noticed there’s a reoccurring one who has a shaved head while another has shoulder length hair.) I do wish that ufotable had slightly added different colors or etc to their designs for diversity tho. It makes telling them apart in faster scenes easier.
This season was supposed to build out the characters personalities so that it leaves a bigger mark on us once some of them die, make us care instead of just action

@@Lefkefb Now say something good about the season without talking about the last episode.
18:04 Gabfr is kind of correct but… SPOILER
Ok so my friend told me about some shit in the manga so cprrect me if im wrong.

And I mean, from his perspective it makes more sense to assume that it was a Demon attack than that a young man running an orphanage randomly killed all but one of the children there in the middle of the night. It's just that the general public doesn't really believe in Demons and thus assumed it was all Gyomei.

“the whole season was js a bunch of yapping “
then preceded to yap about not like back story’s for 10 minutes straight 😊
you know this homie didnt watch the manga when he says ds mark doesn't have consequences
The beatboxing is crazy
Gabefr this vid: .001% complementing the season 99.999% keeps yapping about how bad its written and how bad the characters are etc
I'll still go and watch it and get hyped and cry when the heartbreaking moments happen (even though I know how much more they would hit with the right writing and foreshadowing). because at the end of the day, I still root for these depthless characters to win.
the reason tokito is so strong is because he is a decendent of kokoshibo and yorichi
coulda stuck a warning on this for anime onlys, but yes youre correct. kokushibos descendent
Spoiler warning where?
this is why anime onlies should never read youtube comment sections bruh
@@asey1279 no, i have seen the manga but im upset that people just say stuff like this without proper warning. When anime only are reading comments
Spoiler? Spoiler
Didn't they told in the story , the crow of tokito said it "ofcourse he is strong ,he is descendent of sun breathing user ofcourse" or something. And we thought he was descendent of yoriichi and we did saw kokoshibo in season 3. If you add 2 and 2 together with comment of tanjiro "But that isn't sun breathing".
Tanjiro only was able to move that boulder because he remembered the number 237
Muichiro Is talented because he is a descendant of yoriichis bloodline
Ain’t gonna lie, I enjoyed this season a lot
The thing with zenitsu is that “The old fart” was his grandpa and he was the only person who believed in him when he first started and took care of him.

Fun fact: In the intro for Demon Slayer season 4, Tanjiro stares at the camera for an uncomfortably long 7 seconds.

Opinion with spoilers
I loved the video, everyone has their opinion ofc, but i think you are giving demon slayer a fighting only machine, this season was for you to chill and have calm before the actual catastrophe its going to happen, its for the audience to atleast have a bond with the main characters, the hashiras and basicaly the important ones, you are telling about some plot holes, but thats just tell that you havent finished the manga, most of the things you said were probably responded in the manga, and in the seasons before, Zenitsu caring so much for his grandpa was shown in the first season, he thought of his grandpa when he was close to becoming a spider, he told that when he was all alone, his grandpa basicaly "adopted" him and gave him a house, ofc he is gonna grieve about it, doesnt mean he is not annoying, after the determination of having revenge agaisnt kaigaku, he is still the same annoying character, but for me that ive read the whole manga i know, and lastly because, i could go for a lot of things im wrong about things you said, the demon slayer mark, theres a consequence of unlocking this power and it is that when they turn 25 they"ll die, because they are "exchanging" years of life for a amazing boost, but as i said, if you havent read the manga, or dont remember details like zenitsu's backstory you are not gonna understand some parts of it, and ofc, if you dont look the characters as characters and not just a fighting machine, you are not going to like the season, the whole point of it is for you to empathize with the main ones, but thats just me, good vid btw, very funny as usual
i love you
Although I am a fan of Demon Slayer, I do agree with a lot of your points. There are some I don't. Here's my take on those:
[SPOILERS FOR MULTIPLE FUTURE PLOT POINTS BELOW]
The storytelling of Zenitsu's state of mind changing, although valid in my eyes, suffers more from production/direction than anything else.
There are other points I wanted to discuss but frankly I'm tired spo hopefully I make a part 2 to this comment lol
Nice analisys though, just hope you give my opinions a chance
Totally agree, another reason for her being able to conquer the sun is because she descends from sun breathing users. The Hinokami Kagura dance was the different forms of sun breathing that Yorichii taught Tanjiro’s ancestor and he passed it down. So it’s kinda explained somewhere in the manga I believe im not entirely sure, but its all the stuff you said combined with that small fact
Im not ready allat but i agree 😭
Rly hope Gabfr reads this. It adresses some problems he has with the series and i totally agree with you

You can't be fr saying Zenitsu and his sensei barely interact with each other, or that gramp's death isn't important enough to make Zenitsu lock in.
Bro misinterpreted the entire season as well as the rest of the show 💀 said the story was bad yet probably enjoys dragon ball mid 😭😭 L opinions fr
You didn’t explain how he was wrong thought 💀

Muichiro was able to take on Sanemi and Obanai because he had unlocked his mark before them, its basically a permanant stat boost.
18:09 - 18:54 no disrespect but umm maybe because his "grandpa" actually loved him and took him in?
this season was just to hype up infinity castle which is prolly coming this year cuz there was only one fight scene in season 4
Plus your breakdown of the characters are actually true
Well, it's because the top demons, and especially the First and Strongest Demon Muzan are stronger than the top Demon Slayers aside from a few specific cases (like Yoriichi)
So, how are the Demon Slayers to win?
