I know what this is all about. I farm in Alberta, Canada and have auto steer in both of my 4 wheel drive tractors here in Alberta. Sure takes the stress out of doing field work such as seeding, spraying, cultivating. No more sore neck, shoulder blade and eye strain and headaches. I always have my Sirius radio on and a case of beer in a cooler. Sometimes a bottle. I installed a DVD compatible radio with a built in screen so I can watch DVD's; usually porn and sometimes I masturbate. (Can you blame me, folks?) I keep a piss bottle in the cab too and smoke cigarettes. This is what farming is all about.
+Austin M The one I am looking at for my John Deere is around 10,000.00, the money that they save (depending on how much you farm) usually will pay for itself in less then 3 years, if you plow a lot of land it will make your money back within the 1st year. Now many of you are wonder how... When you think of all the over lapping when you plow, the wasted seed from over lapping as well as fertilizers, fuel, time, wear and tear, etc... it adds up fast. I have planted seed that is 300.00 bucks a bag and that is only for a 50# sack folks. And with the rising cost of fuel, even farm use fuel, it still costs a ton of bucks to fill your tractor. Parts are very costly, just to replace a single disk on a plow they can run around 35.00-100.00 bucks each, sweeps around 15-35.00 each, and some of these plows have 50 to 100 of them, all cost money to replace when they wear out, not to mention how long it takes to replace that many, and usually on a disk there is always a few bearings that need to be replaced and there goes a few hundred more by the time you get done replacing just a couple. So you can see how having something like this is well worth the price.
Very sweet. It makes those long 14 hour days a little shorter.

if you can look into a tractor in a field from the road you live in the city; and you own a half acre.
What number is this? 8430? 8530?
I own ten acres and live in the country where I see tractors daily the funny thing is they all have pants
You don't even have to put pants on to go to work. I want your job.
