Thank you Phil for this inspiring video on your tenor guitar. I have acquired a Gibson TG 25 N that has been my dad’s, my uncle’s and now mine. I hope to hear more of you preforming with these beautiful 4 string instruments.
    Best regards, Steve.

Phil Beer on chat and tenor guitar. Ray Bradbury on the coffee table. Just add a glass of Talisker 25 year old single malt for the perfect evening. Many thanks Phil for this lovely little video, a real bright spark in these dark times. Looking forward (hopefully) to more in a similar vein.

Hi Phil, I hope you're rocking. The Tenor Guitar is a Tenor Banjo neck on a Guitar body, & the reason they exist is because during the transition period from Banjo to Guitar, Banjoists wanted to switch to Guitar so that they'd keep on playing. Paramount made them, & alot of companies make them because they're more popular these days

Probably young master Seth has had the most to do with its resurgence in popularity amongst folkies.

@@watchphilbeer It's a cool hybrid instrument, & the song You can't always get what you want by the rolling stones sounds great on it.

Thanks Phil, a really helpful guide to Tenors. Sheena and I are just in the process of looking for one after we saw Chris Leslie playing his Ozark Florentine Cutaway in his one man show. Keep safe, looking forward to seeing you out in concert again soon.

'Youngstown' is on 'The ghost of Tom Joad' - as normal Phil, you choose the most superb songs to cover!

I'm sorry Phil but I couldn't quite make out what tuning you are using. Could you please recap?
    Best regards, Ken

That one is a tanglewood. The main one is an Oddy. Both Martin copies.
