I love watching reactions to this beautiful song. His love of nature was deep, and to describe his love for Annie as being as meaningful and those senses in nature shows how pure that love was. I still hurt from his early death. What a loss it is. Please listen to his song "Rocky Mountain High". It'll touch your soul, too.

If you enjoyed this (which he wrote in 10 minutes on a ski lift after a row with his wife) then you will love the live version of 'For You' from his 'Wildlife Concert' . John Denver is a great singer and song writer with loads of fantastic songs. He sounds just as good live as he does on the studio versions.He is more a folk singer than country singer. John died far too young and the world is a worse place because of this.

It's sad John I's gone RIP,this is up there as a top favourite,I believe he wrote this song for his wife. I'm not sure if if it was before his divorce or after witch sounds it probably is , bueatfull ☘️
I still have the LP rocky mountain high album( vinal record long player) 12 inch records are generally manufactured for full-length (LP) albums. At 33 rpm they hold around 15-22 minutes per side. 33 rpm is the most common speed for 12 inch records. Yes I'm an old git lol. The funny thing is as a young lad I would sing Annie's song with a bit of a change lol You fill up my senses. Like a night in the pig farm.And it stuck.
