I'd say the optimal artifact set combo would be xilonen on scroll, Bennett on Petra, and Citlali on instructor. Petra's uptime lines up better that way
Dont forget that Hu Tao's damage only comes close to Arle if you do the attack cancel stuff. If you dont like that playstyle and thus play Hu Tao "wrong" (i prefere to call it normally), then Arle will be a clear improvement to Hu Tao. My Mavuika isnt fully build yet, (and my arle is pretty good) but so far i still think that my Arle is perfoming much better than my Mavuika. Probably just need to invest more in Mavuika, but its worth mentioning just how good Arle performs with MINIMAL amount of investment (i am F2P). You probably have a completely CRACKED gladiator artifact set available for her that you would ordinairilly fodder without even looking at it. Just pick your best pieces and shes already build. Then you can work on replacing her artifact set later on, but she can instantly be used in Abyss with great results.
white tassel is her best f2p weapon! the only thing to consider is that she becomes very reliant on bennett’s attack buff due to white tassel’s low base attack, but all of her best teams use bennett anyway so it’s not really an issue
I would generally recommend getting a new character, if you have other teams that can make use of Citlali like Neuvillette, Mavuika, Chasca, then I would say go for Citlali. But if it's solely for Arlecchino, it might not be entirely worth it - especially if you already have Yelan for vape.
I only started playing this recently and got Mavuika and Citlani, but I really want Arlecchino too since she is probably my favorite design. I know there is a mono pyro team with Arle and Mavuika, but would they work in a team with Citlani or is Citlani bad with both of them together? I was thinking Arle, Mavuika, Citlani, Bennett. But I assume that wouldnt work? Would really appreciate some tips since Im new to this and still learning. And thanks for the incredibly informative video!

I dont think you need her when you already have mavuika, because arle and mav share the same best team, on the other hand neuv doesnt and hes still a pretty good dps for the other side. Just because neuv isnt favored this abyss, please dont feel pressured to pull for the on banner character, because this has always been the way hoyo sells their character. You are gonna feel the same again next patch when they release mizuki, or maybe venti gets his rerun and suddenly floor 12 becomes his playground. Unless youre a whale and dont mind spending on all character banners then yeah its up to you
I have a C1 Hu Tao with Homa and a decent build but after playing Arleccino in Theatre I got convinced very fast to pull for her. Sadly my first attempts at farming the Harmonic Whimsy set were pretty bad with spending around 12 fragile resin and not getting a single useable artifact but then a friend of mine who I borrowed Arle from for Theatre reminded me that Gladiator 4p works really well on her and thankfully I kept a whole set. My only question would be - as a low spender (5$ login bonus and 10$ pass from time to time) how worth would be getting C1 considering that Furina is rumoured to pop up on the second phase of 5.4 ? For further info - I've got both R1 Homa and R1 Primordial Jade Spear, so I don't think pulling for her signature weapon is that good of a choice. Great guide btw!

@ vape is better, 5% to 10% better depending on characters. But overload frees up other characters (hydro, cryo, anemo) that you may need in the other half of the abyss.
The same as Xilonen, Archaic Petra and she picks up the Pyro crystallize. Just use her skill/burst after Arlecchino E to trigger pyro crystallize. If it's too complicated you can run another unit like Sucrose and not deal with all that.

C2 is mainly a QoL and allows arlecchino to be more flexible with rotations in certain teams, while also making her slightly tankier and giving her a very respectable damage on consuming marks. With all that said sig weapon is still a better choice than c2 (from c1) in terms of raw damage. And has a lot of drip.
Unless your running White tassel or lower ranked weapon, go for her constellations. C1 to C3 all provide damage buffs (with c1 being the most). C4 and C5 aren't worth it unless your planing on C6.
there is no specific CR and CR requirement, just as much as possible (not over 100% Crit rate) while maintaining around a 1:2 ratio. For vape / met, you would ideally want at least 100 em, but as you can see from my build I barely have any EM and I'm still clearing just fine, don't worry to much about it honestly.

It's fine, decent stat stick and similar to staff of homa. edit: you don't have to worry about the effect to much, just the attack buff and crit stat is good enough.
I got Mavuika for archon collection and also saw her 1 shot potential and ease of use But i've been saving for arelccino since after her release seeing shes also easy and hits hard among BEST DPS of game the only other pyro dps i have is Yoimiya + Diluc Should i go for Arlec ? or save for Xilonen for example who i also dont have ?

Not really, if Furina's draining Arlecchino's Hp then sure you can use it until Arlecchino's HP reaches 50% and then you will need to use Arlecchino's burst to heal which would remove your BoL. Not really worth all the hassle. Edit: You can run Furina for the damage buffs, not necessarily to enable MH on Arlecchino.
@MistsplitterReforged my luck in Harmonic Whimsey domain is terrible, like I barely even get the set.. always off pieces, and while farming for Furina Ive got pretty good MH pieces, so my Arle will be 48% CR and 230% CD on MH, that's why I was thinking to use until I get good Harmonic Whimsey pieces

I hate genshin this update so much that I uninstalled it. The only thing i liked about the game was the arlecchino and Fontaine. Sadly natlan was the worst thing that happened in 5.3. Mainly i hated people who actually accepted the mavuika powercreeping other DPS. Starrail was the same too and i uninstalled both genshin and starrail.😢 I had fun while i had time in the past, now it's goodbye. I will only focus on ZZZ for now and see if it keeps me hooked for longer. Otherwise i will leave whole gaming in trash.

You don't have to choose between buff support vs shielder if you slot Lan Yan. Anemo VV+grouping, TTDS, and shields all in the same character.

There is no real difference. She is so good that those teams preform great. I think it depends on what characters you have
If you have C2R1 it wouldn't matter to much. But Fischl alongside a Hydro is better than double hydro for Arlecchino.

If you already have Mavuika I would say get Xilonen, unless you like Arlecchino more.

@ you can use the 2pc MH on Arlecchino. Gladiators is a very strong alternative to FoHW, you might already have some decent pieces on Glad.

Genshin isn't just about big dmg numbers and the most optimal teams so I wouldn't quit just bc stronger characters release
