Reset View Button in Tableau (Quick Tip)

A lot of people want to create customized "Reset Filters" buttons in Tableau, and that's great if you do! We've got a video on that in the resources section below.
However, you might not need to do that at all! Did you know that Tableau Server, Cloud and even Public have a Reset view button? Pairing that button with Custom Views is a powerful way to quickly restart your analysis and clear all filters and selections.

Hello, can you please do a video on how to create a reset filter button incase of single dropdown filters? It should reset the dashboard to default value not ‘All’

Hi! I would try creating and Custom View (like this: th-cam.com/video/cmrIhzbvDVA/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=OneNumber-TableauExperts) saving it as your default, and then utilizing this Reset View button from this video!
