How hard is this?? I'm visiting Boulder too and plan to try it out, my level is pretty beginner-ish...Called a local bike shop and was told this trail is pretty hard...I don't want to miss out good stuff tho
Hike a bike when it's too hard for your level - no shame! Be smart while learning so you can keep riding! There are some good more beginner/intermediate trails - try Betasso, Marshall Mesa, Doudy Draw. The rock garden at Hall for sure will show you who is boss, but there are other parts of it that you can probably do and will love! Enjoy getting out & riding!
Ridden this trail 6 times and it kicks my ass every time. I've always done it the opposite direction. I'll have to try it clockwise next time. Great video... gnarly riding!

classic Colorado biking. Super fun in the foot hills, but super slick with all the dust/pea gravel. I'd love to bike with you sometime, but it would just be me watching you fade into the distance haha!

Holy crap Nate that huck at 4:54 was absolutely unbelievable. I would highly recommend more shots of your buddies like this, sometimes the gimbal + yeti + insane skills combo makes some viewers unaware of how gnarly things really are.....
For sure, working on incorporating more B-roll. That huck can actually be quaded if you pull hard and go 10 feet further.... #huckgoals

Honestly, there isn't that much mountain biking in Boulder. There are plenty of trails around Denver to ride if you are interested in staying for a week.

Totally understand. I think the folks that really have a passion for your channel and mtb overall will watch anything you put out. It's nice to have a longer video or too once in awhile but I get why you can't always do that. Always leaving a little to be desired haha. I have been using a piece of fur, glued to my mic, or a piece of foam to keep the wind noise to a minimum.
I'd love to see a video of you riding Hall Ranch. Will we possibly see one in the near future?

lordy that look looks fun. Quick question unrelated to the ride. When you put your bike back in the truck and on the dakine pad, do your stanchions not get rubbed from the pad? I'm relatively new to owning a truck and am using the raceface pad. my stanchions are against the pad similar to yours and am curious what the long term affect is gonna be.
Not my truck, but the stanchions don't really touch the pad with this type of setup. The downtube will however get worked over if it is dirty. I run a piece of clear bra on my DT to prevent this from happening.

Yo Nate, Front Range trails are crazy busy. Is it just your timing that you avoid the crowds or do you have a spotter go first and make sure you don't smoke some hiker? Grand County rider here, we don't have the same issue as the Front Range (but we only have about 20 miles of trail open at the moment).
We just got lucky on a Wednesday morning. Pretty quiet out there apparently...
I dont understand how the hell you ride up walker so damn fast! Makes no sense! Yall turned a complete grunt of a ride into so crazy shit! Also where did yall park? Cuz that wasnt the lot off flagstaff
Two years ago in July I helped someone move out to Boulder and didn't make time to ride. Plus no-one had time. I am now feeling really stupid for not brining or renting a bike and doing this solo. Looks like a loop of perm-a-grin with something for everyone!
Well, now you have an excuse to come back.... haha
Some of that single track did not exist two years ago.
Even another reason to come out there. I help out with a non-profit call the Gimp Style Foundation for adaptive athletes and he just ran a clinic with B-bold in Ft. Collins. I think I should have used that as an excuse to abuse my bike and body on these trails. Next time. I hate to admit the last time I went MTB in Co was over 18 years ago.

This is my new 5 and I have really been enjoying the little wheels lately. The new 5 is a touch slacker than the old one and the whole "metric" thing makes the bike a bit more capable on the descents. Feels like a coil somehow...

I am a SRAM athlete and have not ridden the others. I am riding a Super Deluxe here on my SB5. Feels great.
Aura Glasswerks My Cane Creek got plenty of grief for 3000 miles before it needed a service. If that helps!
