Because with SooJin's resurfacing to public life, Idle's well-documented bitterness with CUBE over the company throwing her to the wolves, and all the references to SooJin going back to "Tomboy", I think it is as close to a sure bet as there ever can be in Kpop.

Realistically (G)I-DLE are doing amazing, and probably wouldn't risk their brand for it, and with SooJin's successful solo launch I'd argue it's more likely for her to stay solo than to ever join a group. I absolutely wish it would happen more than anything, but I think the group will breakup before Soojin comes back :(
@@squidca2455 My gut feeling is that (G)I-DLE - more than any other "Kpop" girl group with the possible exception of Blackpink - have outgrown South Korea. Absolutely, if they brought Soojin back after leaving CUBE, a lot of Korean "fans" would raise hell again about the "bullying" thing, but outside of Korea, it's a non-issue. And since "Tomboy", (G)I-DLE have focused more and more on the international market, particularly the US. They sell a lot of records in Korea, for sure, but they sell MORE in the rest of the world, and they rake in the massive bucks touring. They clearly are so disenchanted with the way Korean society treats women and women idols in particular that they have made most of their post-hiatus career out of expressing that. AND they are a group that (counting Soojin) are only half Korean. I honestly would not be at all surprised if after May 2025, (G)I-DLE relocated to Los Angeles, continued to tour worldwide like they have been doing, and said F*** Off to CUBE and everyone in South Korea who were so eager to destroy Soojin's career. Unlikely? Maybe... but pretty much everything about (G)I-DLE's rise has been unlikely, and if anyone can do it, I think it's them.
One detail I like that mostly goes unnoticed so far: Soyeon plays the cleaning lady because if you think about it- she had to clean up the mess the scandal and CUBE kicking out Soojin had created. From comforting the other members to needing to redo their old releases like redistributing Soojin's lines, she did so much that we don't even know about during their hiatus. Soyeon is quite literally pointing out how CUBE used her to clean up after the scandal. I feel like their revenge is a promise to CUBE that they're going to leave once their contract expires and reform under Soojin's label as OT6 to prove CUBE that Soojin's removal wasn't necessary and that they missed out on 6 diamonds. After all if you think about it, Soojin's debut was a risky move for her label but if (G)I-DLE had approached them with the deal of reforming under their label then it would be a different conversation. Remember the rumors that Soyeon was looking around at different labels during their hiatus? What if that actually was serious and she was already looking for a place to reform as OT6 once their contracts expire because she hated what happened and the position she was pushed in by CUBE? It's my clown theory, but if anyone could pull that off it would be Jeon Soyeon.
Shuhua from being criticized as not fit to be an idol to presently being a completely all-rounder idol. if there is any most improved idol awards, Shuhua will grab at least some of those awards. IMO her big jump improvements get started in their Tomboy era and no turning back since.
I think the plot may be this:In the first scene we can see Shuhua in the balcony, but we can also see Minnie at the top,then there are clips of Minnie been interrogated by Miyeon(who pick up the pen from the floor), Soyeon cleaning and Yuqi in her room with blood in the guitar; then is the scene in which Minnie trip over Yuqi, and Yuqi seems to be frightened by something in the room:the fight between Shuhua and the man(probably her husband), that’s why she run in and hit the man with the guitar when the man recovers and want hurt Shuhua again, Miyeon hit the man with her pen,and Minnie fired the house.As we’d seen at the beginning, Minnie lives upstairs of Shuhua,so Soyeon moved the body to Minnie’s room ,that’s why Minnie was arrested,they make everyone think that Shuhua was hurt by the fire( she was full covered, but at the end scene we can observe that she wasn’t hurt ).Although Miyeon is the police, she was helping the girls by checking the cameras in the elevator and free Minnie. Not sure about anyone else, but this took me back to all those hard times during the hiatus. A lot of things we've all forgotten about or blocked out. Newer Neverland may not understand, but it was so hard for all of us, and as hard as it was for us, it was 10,000 times harder on the members. We've had a lot of good times since then, but this is something that we'll never forget.

THEORY : This is an abuse-murder related story. Each girls have a character to play. I believe Minnie is a business woman Yuqi is an aspiring musician Miyeon is a detective, who happens to be on that hotel that day Soyeon is a housekeeping staff at the hotel Shuhua is playing two roles. The one in the white dress is in an abusive relationship. The other one is an investigator who is watching this story unfold along with us audience or the her future self looking back at that last easter night. (on a side note, we believe the girl in abusive relationship is a direct reference to Soojin.. At 1:31 you can see Soojin's birth date written on the poster, also at the hallway scene there are 6 of them...) Let's get to the story, The main character Shuhua was in an abusive relationship. The blood on her lips at the first shot indicates this. MInnie and Yuqi are neighbours of this Shuhua and they have known about the abuse she is going through. Soyeon knew about this too. Her looking through the keyhole indicates this. On last easter night, the man tries to attack her again, and she fights back. All the women in the hallway witnessed this and decides to help her. Yuqi hits him with the guitar. Miyeon stabs with the pen. Soyeon pours the gasoline/petrol. Minnie lits it using the matchbox she had. This is the blast we see at the very beginning of the mv. And they all get rid of the evidence of the murder. We can see Soyeon dragging the trash bag through the hallway , at 0:46 you can see Soyeon is inside a cctv room. She deletes the footage of anything related to that murder. Miyeon, who is also a detective takes charge of the investigation and cover it up as a fire accident. At the interrogation scene with Minnie, Miyeon drops her pen, the same one which she used to stab the abuser. This is an indication that she dealt with the legal proceedings and closed the case. The news paper cuttings on the investigation room of Shuhua references to several fire accidents including Mumbai Tardeo (Kamala building) fire which resulted in the death of 6 people and the other title State has become a tinder box etc. After that, we can see them dance in joy... They killed the abuser and saved the victim. Shuhua, the investigator who unfolded this case learns the truth but decides to keep it a fire accident as the abuser deserved it all. In the end we see the victim Shuhua taking off her bandages. This is to show that she has overcome the wounds and scars of her previous abusive relationship. She is free now... SHE GOT THE REVENGE!!!!!!
