cross dimensional duel is one of my favorite card designs, too!! i really love the artwork in it, and it really does perfectly depict such an iconic scene. gx was (and still is, until vrains finishes lmao) my favorite yugioh, so everything else pales a bit in comparison, haha. i haven't been keeping up with card spoilers as much lately, so i knew we were getting fortune ladies, but oh man, fortune lady past is beautiful :') carly is best girl from 5ds, so that card is definitely on my want list now haha. great video as always!
There's a card called Draw Discharge that will come in Dark Neostorm and people say it's based on Playmaker but actually, if you had paid attention to the details back in season 1, Playmaker's outfit is just the default Vrains' outfit since other Hacker duelist like him that uses the old school Duel Disk have the same outfit which also fits Playmaker because why would him bother to make his avatar look cool?
Number 12 on the list (King's synchro) resembles Jack Atlas and i believe Jack used it in Arc V Ps : God i love all the Photon - Kaito Cards and Numeral Hunter looks absolutely Amazing .

I dunno what it is, but Orbital 7's card art is honestly one of my favorites on the list, due to the fact that while his character was built to be unlikable at times in Zexal, he sacrificed so much to protect Kaito and Haruto and it reminds me that every character has feelings and someone they love as well as a motivation for what they do
I think it would be great if Konami made an archetype where the all cards are based on all of prvious series' characters(minus the minor characters ) in time for the next tribute series and maybe make it part of the story. I think if they do it will be great fanservice. I also think it'll better than arc v's attempts at fanservice even if it was well executed(a thing that writers failed to accomplish).

King's synchro is an arc-v card. you can tell because the rings for the synchro summon looked different in arc-v. but since jack appeared in that show as well it still works
the coolest part of the kaito cards are they're kind of a legacy thing, the character depicted on them is pretty much like the zexal version of kaibaman, with kaito cosplaying his ace monster, galaxy-eyes photon dragon

To be honest I thought that "King's Synchro" always depicted Jack Atlas, though I could see why people would think it's Seto Kaiba as well to be fair. As for the "Gravekeeper" monsters, to be honest I had never noticed that they were similarly designed to Yami Bakura, Odeon, Marik/Yami Marik or Ishizu Ishtar until this clip, and to be honest if i hadn't watched this clip then I would probably never noticed it. No Gravekeeper's Oracle? It's based on Marik and Ishizu's father. Also, the Crystal pendulum monsters are based on Jesse from GX. There are a lot of cards depicting generic duelists, and some closely resemble Joey.
Always thought the gravekeeper’s heretic was like yami marik and spiritualist was regular marik. I mean they both have similar skin and hair colors, both have a rod, and are grave keepers.

Upon seeing the artwork for King's Synchro, my first thought was Kaiba, but it really could be based on either of them.
Gonna need to add Ultimate Flame Swordsman to this list as he's pretty obviously based on Joey.
Would be Atlantian Knights count for this? I know they looked like that in the anime, but they are quite clearly supposed to be Yugi, Joey, and Kaiba.

According to the Wikia, the man is clearly wearing a similar attire to Seto Kaiba, but I think it also alludes to Jack Atlas considering he was the Seto Kaiba of the show. So in my opinion, it is inspired by both x3

In Kings Synchro, I see Jack Atlas. Mainly due to the red glow in his left hand, possibly being either Red Nova Dragon or his Burning Soul.

that T.G card looks like it is based based on Bruno/ Antinomy and his d-wheel/ duel runner aka. Delta Eagle...so basically he is using his duel runner as an armor and saber.
Star guardian looks like a fusion between Anthinomy and his duel wheel
Also it's not just Exodia, dark magician and bls also appear in the artwork

Also, there's a card that looks exactly like me when I was 14. Long, untidy blonde hair, really tall and skinny, pale as a bedsheet. The only thing he's missing are the glasses, although his eye color is somewhat hard to make out.

No Gravekeeper's Oracle? It's based on Marik and Ishizu's father. Also, the Crystal pendulum monsters are based on Jesse from GX. There are a lot of cards depicting generic duelists, and some closely resemble Joey.
Always thought the gravekeeper’s heretic was like yami marik and spiritualist was regular marik. I mean they both have similar skin and hair colors, both have a rod, and are grave keepers.

I like how T.G. Star Guardian looks like a humanoid version of Bruno's D-Wheel and Signal Warrior looks like a humanoid version of Yusei's D-Wheel.
Also the synchro tuner monster accel synchron is clearly Yusei's D-wheel after Antinomy told him that it's engine was alive

5:54 it is Jack Atlas. I can make this argument because look on his arm. There is a signer mark and last I checked Kiaba doesn't have a crimson dragon signer mark.
I have a copy of Halfway to Forever, and if you look closely at it you can kinda see astral next to the Yuma figure.
Yeah King's Synchro is Kaiba, you can tell by the sleeves, they're not white and the shoulders are flaired not spiked
