Lay is really hardworking and is so dedicated to dance, during his trainee days he used to train dancing with sandbag attached on him...he even hurt his waist.. he is amazing nevertheless, he hit clean, smooth and strong at the same time. I really like his dancing.

Lay's not only a music producer, singer, brand ambassador etc but he's truly one of the greatest dancer in Kpop, Cpop and Mpop. 🔥👑🔥
Lay is the only chinese member and one of the main dancers of exo along with kai and sehun. He has been busy doing his solo in china and has been mostly inactive in group activities since 2017 cause of some political issues between china and south korea . This is from his 3rd ep also called honey, released in 2019.
All of the other dancers in this video are back up dancers not members of a group or anything. This is lay solo so the focus of camera is on him and not showing the others in some scenes completely.
This choreography is by eztwins and kasper , one of the best choreographers in sm ent and exo members' close friend is mentioned by them as co-choreographer.
@Proudly Since 2013최애 없는 에리 Please don't argue on positions with me. There's no point in it cause wheather he's the main dancer or the lead dancer , he's the one taking part in solo dances along with kai and lay and that's what is important and that's why I consider him a main dancer. Except for this fact , these positions are just some titles and should not be that serious or important.

Lay is definitely a beat killer.. it is amazing how much thought he put into his dance with coordination with music. Lay's latest active role in the show: Street dance of China as a captain definitely has shown his knowledge in dancing. He fell in love with krump when he was working on LIT but even after that he is actually promoting Krump in China to get more people interested in Krump! There is a captains cypher in that show and he Krumpped through 4 rounds, in my opinion is AMAZING!!

LOVED the way you noticed even the smallest details , this choreo was by exo's choreographer kasper and EZtwins in case you wanted to check their work , lay has been dancing since he was 13 his style in dancing is more of popping and locking and his movements are sooo smooth , in the past year or so , he got into krump dance and have been practicing for 7 months by a professional krump dancer and even got a compliment on his krump dance by his legend Tight Eyez himself !!

For his latest music video (LIT), Lay started to seriously learn Krump from Trix. Lay himself says that he loves the style and is doing his part to promote Krump, he is currently on a street dance show in China where the participants are professional street dancers and the 'team leaders' are celebrity dancers. You might be asked to react to some of the other team leaders since three of them are active (or were active) in the kpop industry. The team leaders' cypher battle is definitely a highlight, it starts off slow but each round is more intense - I think rounds 3 and 4 are fantastic. Lay is the main dancer in EXO. Who also has a solo career in China and America. Lay is only one member the rest are back up dancers. He is the one in white (obviously haha)
He is not only a singer and dancer, he is also a song writer, actor, producer, and recently a CEO of his own company. All his solo albums are his production.
I maybe wrong but this choreography was by a South Korean dancer/choreographer Kasper!! (Not 100%sure)( but he could be a co choreographer)
Also please checkout his latest SOLO LIT!! ( with the MV) because the MV has a lot of story to it which can be seen in dancer practice as well.
And another one I would recommend would EXO CBX Blooming days, it has some crazy fun moves and sync!!

Honestly, one of the best choreos I've ever seen.....and I've seen plenty. Lay is a beast.

As much as I love watching people react to EXO, I would strongly recommend you to react to Taemin's "MOVE" or any other of his more recent MVs/dance practices
But I also highly recommend you EXO-CBX "Blooming Day" dance practice. (EXO-CBX is EXO's sub-unit)

Also Jackson is part of the show too!! Not sure if there's any subtitles for those videos but here is some basically information for anyone wanna go check out those 4 clips: Captain cypher 4 rounds -
Four captains each pick their dance genre, and then DJ will randomly pick a song on the spot, and then they have to freestyle dance according to that music (but no rule saying only hiphop to HipHop music) and then there are 4 professional dancers as judges to vote after each round and whoever gets the highest votes after 4 rounds wins. Who goes first or second - the order is up to the captains themselves who can just step in anytime. Lay said that cypher was his second time doing freestyle battle but he surprised everyone with his Krump even though he has only learned it officially for 6 months!!

Love the input especially about the camera work. I love dynamics but for this video would really love to see the movement as it does cut out a lot of the lower body. And yes, Lay definitely grabs your attention even with a group of professional dancers.

The reason for the cuts may be because they needed to film this in a short amount of time. Lay is a part of exo but is currently based in China due to political tensions between South Korea and China that prevents him from doing activities as part of exo. From what I know he flew to Korea and filmed this (which I kinda don’t understand why he had to do this at Korea when he has his own studio in China where he could’ve filmed it) but the main choreographer is in Korea.
Please check Lay Battle routine in Street Dance of China, he's dance with fuckin' balance
I see comments already for these artists, but maybe I can elaborate. Seventeen has the cleanest, most synchronized choreography for a larger group (13-members). They create some great visuals and the best part is that one of the members is the main choreographer. I recommend "Thanks" dance practice, but all of their choreography is worth watching. Ateez is a 4th gen group so they are newer, but they are being recognized amongst their peers for having great stage presence. Say My Name, Hala Hala, Win, and Thanxx are among their most popular choreos. Suelgi & Irene's Naughty choreo is full of tutting and/or waacking - I was impressed. There are literally so many groups with memorable choreo, but these are the ones that stick out most to me. Thank you for your reactions. Stay well and safe :)
