HB and HH actually share a couple of voice actors. The va for Blitz voiced Katie Killjoy, the va for Adam and Sir Pentious voices a recurring character in HH later on and there are a few other examples.
Helluva Boss is so far actually giving a lot more lore background about the hierachy of hell and the geography of hell. That's because Hazbin Hotel all takes place in the first ring of hell, the Pride ring, because that's the one sinners are confined to. Hellborns like these imps however, are free to roam throughout all the seven rings of hell, each named after one of the sins and individually ruled by a king or queen who embodies and represents the sin. Lucifer himself is not only king of all of hell, but also one of the sins, the sin of Pride
Without spoilers, essentially, the hierachy (based both on authority and actual power) goes like this: 1. Lucifer, sin of Pride and ruler of all of hell 2. Charlie and Lilith 3. The over deadly sins 4. A race called Ars Goetia, hellborn aristocrats one of which is Stolas 5. Overlords, like Alastor (who are probably defined by owning souls) 6. Common sinners, like Angel Dust 7. Common hellborn demon races like succubi 8. Imps, the working class on which's back the society is built, and as far as hellborns go, the lowest of the low 9. Hellhounds, who are treated like pets or servants even by imps
LESSGO WITH HELLUVA BOSS!! Also, for those who are new to the Helluva Boss series Blitzø, Moxxie, Millie and Loona are Imps hellborn demons and loona is a hellhound.

@@niccilefevre it seems like they incorporated some rigging into the newest few episodes of Helluva, not sure at all of course but there is a bit more stiffness that keeps the characters more "on model" but they clearly do a LOT of hands on animation too. Versus in Hazbin there seemed to be only rigging til the last episode Final Battle where things start having a LOT more physics/weight/bend to them. Looks like HH saved the budget to make sure the fight scenes hit harder, where as Helluva tries to use it pretty much throughout the whole show

Just to give you an example. The people behind Hellvua Boss has admitted that they don't hate the censor beeps they have to do because they feel like it sometimes make the scene even funnier and your reaction to Stolas is basically a proof of that.
10:16 Fun Fact in Season 2 Episode 4 Blitz almost called a nurse the R word but he realized that he couldn’t say that anymore cause it isn’t the early 2000’s or 2010’s
So right off the bat once you move from the Pilot to episode 1.. The Pilot for Helluva is only canon in it's broad strokes and lots of characterization pieces and stuff change between it and the series proper so keep that in mind.
Once you get over the voice swaps from the pilot I think you’ll really enjoy Helluva Boss. It does a fantastic job of making you care for some pretty shitty pretty genuinely and wholly.
Can’t wait to see your reactions! Some context for this season the last episode we got a year or so later and had to skip due to legal issues (they had Kesha in the episode voicing a character which is really neat)
I would do one episode a week. The first episode doesn't have that much to dig into but that changes pretty fast. By the way if you wish to there are a lot of details you can pick up by pausing the episodes. There's also a number of blink and you miss it visual jokes in most episodes. Since for some reason it's not directly stated a bit of basic world lore that contextualizes some of the actual plot: most of the characters in this show are hellborn demons rather than sinners. The hellborn have distinct species which do matter a fair bit. Unlike sinners they also have access to all of the rings of hell and are capable of entering the living world (though most lack the means to do so). Also they can actually die to things other than angelic weapons.
I haven't seen the actual episode 1 of Boss before so I don't know how it changes from this pilot. I will say while the Boss pilot was fun in its own happy tree friends-esque way, I do definitely think the Hazbin pilot and its episode 1 both hit better to me than the Boss pilot did.
I'll be watching this as well! Hazbin is more my thing so I've never been interested in this one but now I want to try Update: now addicted and very fixated
Oh I'm excited for this one!! You're gonna get alot out of this show, I can tell you that now! 💙 Also, as far as how "canon" this pilot is, I can say it really doesnt differ from the actual show. The characters change very little. Hazbin Hotel's pilot differed from its show alot more than Helluva Boss', that's for sure ^^
Please also watch/react to Insane from Black Gryph0n (song sung by Alastor’s VA and based on his character), and Addict (video done by Vivzepop and has Angel Dust and Cherri Bomb- also very brief glimpses of his and her traumatic pasts so more story included there). Insane has electro swing and Addict has amazing EDM/club bass drops to it 🖤🥰🖤
I'm guessing hellhounds process alcohol faster than other demons. Also, if I had to choose how vengeful spirits? I think I can safely say I'd prefer a hit squad instead of poltergeists. PLEASE DO THE OWL HOUSE NEXT!!
So most of the Hazbin cast in Hell (literally only aside from Charlie and Lucifer) are sinners, so they were once human. Most of the Helluva cast are all hellborn, so totally different. Helluva is very interesting because we get to see other things we don’t explore in Hazbin!! We see different species of hellborns and different rings in Hell as well as their rulers; The Seven Deadly Sins, who’s power level is right under Lucifer, Charlie, and Lilith. In Hazbin we only see the Pride ring, because the sinners are restricted to it, but Helluva goes to other rings as well as on Earth. Both shows btw are in the same universe, there just won’t be any crossovers. And the IMP gang’s business is set in the Pride ring, and they all live there. They live there because that’s where their clients live. Sinners don’t age, can be redeemed and go to Heaven, not pardoned from the extermination like hellborns, can only be killed from angelic weapons, have higher power level, lived as a human and got sent to Hell, are stuck in the Pride ring, and can’t have children. Hellborns age, can’t be redeemed cus they are literally from Hell, pardoned from extermination so they don’t have to worry abt that, can be killed way easier than sinners (aside from Stolas and other Goetia and Sins, who we’ll meet later), are very low on the power level and social status (again, aside from Goetia and Sins), never lived a human life and got sent to Hell, can transverse to any ring they want, and can have children. There are different species of hellborns who come from different rings. But the main ones we’ll see are imps and hellhounds. Blitzø, Moxxie, and Millie are imps, and Loona is a hellhound. They are at the very bottom of social status and power. And Stolas is a part of the Goetias, a royal family who are all hellborn. Stolas is confirmed to be even more powerful than overlords in Hazbin, yes, he’s even more powerful than Alastor. And most of the pilot is canon btw still, just not all of it. It does a good job at explaining what their business is and introducing the characters, so it’s a good watch, plus it’s funny. Only things that aren’t canon are the voice actors for Millie and Stolas. And slightly the way that Moxxie, Loona and Stolas act. Moxxie didn’t have a problem with the dead kid, unlike in ep 1. And the fact that they all went to a hospital in the human world and just showed themselves in front of humans, that didn’t happen.
Who said that the pilot isn’t canon? There’s like 1 major design change and some voice actors changes but otherwise everything shown in this pilot is canon, they even doubled down on one part.
@@Omn1Media Maybe I'm wrong, but as per my understanding the pilot itself isn't canon, but that's because of voice acting and design changes. I know for a fact that at least some things are canon, including a literal quote from the pilot
@@emilyschomer6715 I had someone share a tweet of hers and the events as the played out are no longer possible within the world like the stuff with the kid coming to hell and a few other things mentioned about the characters was retconned as well. I've only seen these two episodes so I don't know the specifics.
I'm pretty sure the Pilot is canon, at the very least nothing that was shown in it is incoherent with the rest of the show. The only difference is that (not unlike Hazbin Hotel) some of the VA changed when the full show started.
If your thinking about how GOOD the show is itself, the opinion on that is pretty split A lot of People think this show is bad and not worth watching The same amount of people say this show is actually BETTER than HAZBIN Hotel, so yea you can keep that in mind
@@Omn1Media There’s various little things that aren’t considered canon anymore, but nothing groundbreaking or anything. - visual things, like the white roots in Millie’s hair, or the circus poster in the background saying that Tilla is Blitzø’s sister, rather than his mom, Stella’s entire character design, etc. - a human being alive in Hell, I don’t think is canonically possible anymore, so the whole thing with the kid is moot - Stolas was originally planned to be an antagonist, so he comes across a tad more sinister here (although the horniness continues) - a couple of voices were changed - etc. Basically, the Pilot is somewhat canon, somewhat not, but it’s still a good baseline introduction to the series as a whole. 😊
By the way HelluvaBoss is Canon to Hazbin Hotel Universe, the only reason you dont see them in Hazbin is because they stay in the deeper depths of hell. in Hazbin hotel the hell we see is mostly the pride ring

OMG LET'S GOOO I ALSO JUST FINISHED THIS SEIRES LAST NIGHT LMAO
So right off the bat once you move from the Pilot to episode 1.. The Pilot for Helluva is only canon in it's broad strokes and lots of characterization pieces and stuff change between it and the series proper so keep that in mind.
Once you get over the voice swaps from the pilot I think you’ll really enjoy Helluva Boss. It does a fantastic job of making you care for some pretty shitty pretty genuinely and wholly.
This pilot always gets me laughing lol
Can’t wait to see your reactions! Some context for this season the last episode we got a year or so later and had to skip due to legal issues (they had Kesha in the episode voicing a character which is really neat)
Please keep watching!!
I personally can handle once a week, it leaves me room for more anticipation and rest to look forward to the new episode reaction!
For something that's considered not canon pretty much all of it carries over to the main show lmao
Heuvlla Boss is just ad Great and funny as Hazbin Hotel
HELL YEAH
The start of the show is kinda slow but it gets really good in season 2
I haven't seen the actual episode 1 of Boss before so I don't know how it changes from this pilot. I will say while the Boss pilot was fun in its own happy tree friends-esque way, I do definitely think the Hazbin pilot and its episode 1 both hit better to me than the Boss pilot did.
I'll be watching this as well! Hazbin is more my thing so I've never been interested in this one but now I want to try
Update: now addicted and very fixated
LOVE To get a New Superman Shirt
7:15
It might not be canon, but so little actually changed (beyond voice actors at least) that it might as well be canon.
Only Stolas censors himself. He’s a gentleman 😊
Oh I'm excited for this one!! You're gonna get alot out of this show, I can tell you that now! 💙
Also, as far as how "canon" this pilot is, I can say it really doesnt differ from the actual show. The characters change very little.
Hazbin Hotel's pilot differed from its show alot more than Helluva Boss', that's for sure ^^
I don’t know why they’re saying this isn’t canon.. literally everything in this episode of Still Canyon and relevant for the rest of the series
This show is great, glad you're watching it!
Welcome to the beginning of your journey into the other side of the Hellaverse!😁
Please also watch/react to Insane from Black Gryph0n (song sung by Alastor’s VA and based on his character), and Addict (video done by Vivzepop and has Angel Dust and Cherri Bomb- also very brief glimpses of his and her traumatic pasts so more story included there). Insane has electro swing and Addict has amazing EDM/club bass drops to it 🖤🥰🖤
recommending the 'lackadaisy' pilot if you haven't watched it already ♥︎
I would like to see 2 episode a week. I suspect that the next episode of heeluva boss will come out soon.
I'm guessing hellhounds process alcohol faster than other demons. Also, if I had to choose how vengeful spirits? I think I can safely say I'd prefer a hit squad instead of poltergeists.
PLEASE DO THE OWL HOUSE NEXT!!
FINALLYYYY
HEEELL YEAH!❤🎉🤘😈
Oh my god yessss
Who said that the pilot isn’t canon? There’s like 1 major design change and some voice actors changes but otherwise everything shown in this pilot is canon, they even doubled down on one part.
Yeah, how would this NOT happen?
Yes! No disrespect to Hazbin, but i personally love Helluva Boss more for how insane it can get.
Same here they both great shows.
Did any one else see what Luna was watching like the disrespect 😂
14:03 Who changed personalities???
The events within the pilot are canon
Viv tweeted that they weren't
@@Omn1Media Maybe I'm wrong, but as per my understanding the pilot itself isn't canon, but that's because of voice acting and design changes. I know for a fact that at least some things are canon, including a literal quote from the pilot
@@emilyschomer6715 I had someone share a tweet of hers and the events as the played out are no longer possible within the world like the stuff with the kid coming to hell and a few other things mentioned about the characters was retconned as well. I've only seen these two episodes so I don't know the specifics.
@@Omn1Media Okay, but flashbacks and posters are canon for sure
I'm pretty sure the Pilot is canon, at the very least nothing that was shown in it is incoherent with the rest of the show.
The only difference is that (not unlike Hazbin Hotel) some of the VA changed when the full show started.
yh
If your thinking about how GOOD the show is itself, the opinion on that is pretty split
A lot of People think this show is bad and not worth watching
The same amount of people say this show is actually BETTER than HAZBIN Hotel, so yea you can keep that in mind
Tf? THAT WAS CHARLIE SINGING HER SONG IN THE NEWS STUDIO FOR HER PILOT EPISODE!
Almost everything here is canon except some paintings in the background
Really that's all it is?! I may have been trying to find what was different so hard I gaslit myself into seeing one in Episode 1.
- a human being alive in Hell, I don’t think is canonically possible anymore, so the whole thing with the kid is moot
- Stolas was originally planned to be an antagonist, so he comes across a tad more sinister here (although the horniness continues)
- a couple of voices were changed
- etc.
If you don't want to run out of episodes too quickly, you should definitely stick to once a week as the hiatus between each episode is usually at least two months long.
Please watch more
I love this series
It's pretty canon lol
