Tbh this ep was the one that made me feel something. Mr. Yagami having to kill his own son, who doesnt remember being Kira. L's kind of a fucking psychopath for making Mr. Yagami go through that tbh. There was something about this that made me super stressed and sad. It helps that the lighting and composition was really good.

So yes I agree he doesn't have the motive. But should he ever he easily could've been a criminal. I think he knows that about himself too... If you go with his monster speech.

There are so many infamous anime from the 2000's that I've never heard of or watched until finding this channel, and honestly i wouldn't want it any other way. What makes it 10000% more funny is this is one of my best friend's favorite anime and watching it for the first time like this rather than with him is endlessly entertaining.
since this week was also a death note episode I feel compelled to say that my story about forcing my mom to watch death note continues because then she STARTED WATCHING IT WITHOUT ME WHICH ?!???!!??!?? and got to the point where she was like "you know it's not that bad" and apparently watched some episodes AT HER WORK so yeah super normal that this happened

I don't think the Death Note changed Light's personality, it's just that Light was never morally strong enough to resist the easy path power gave him. Without the supernatural power of death, he probably would have been a decent person.
