Aliens share the characteristics and appearance of their host. When it gets ahold of the predator, the offspring becomes a Predalien.
Xenomorphs take on features of their hosts. Those born from dogs are quadrupedal and slim. Those born from humans are clever and bipedal. The reason for this is that the Facehugger doesn't implant an embryo in the host; it puts a mutagen in the host. The Xenomorph is created like a new organ in the body. The reason why the Queen stabbed the Predator is that she was injecting him with Royal Jelly, turning the Chestburster into a Queen Chestburster.
Yes the aliens take on certain traits of there host during gestation. In alien 3 (the theatrical version/correct version) the host was a dog, and the xenomorph that came out was quadrupedal.
The thing that doesn't make sense to me is at the end, the Predators let the dead Yautja on the ship w/ an alien inside.
Their technology can determine if a woman is pregnant like in Predator 2 or illness in the case of Weyland like this one but not, "hey guys, there's a Xenomorph embryo inside this dead dude."
I think they wanted to take his body back to Yautja Prime because je.died honorably.
But w/ Xenomorph inside, why not take the head and not ditch or destroy the body?
I think maybe because yautja tech can't detect fellow yautja

Because they needed a shitty reason for a whole Predatoe ship to get destroyed and to have the Predalien story line to happen alongside the stupidest reason of having one predator to kill the predation

What I loved about this movie were the three yautja; Celtic, Chopper (the one who died first), and Scar. I especially liked Scar since he killed a lot of xenomorphs and that he was a skilled warrior even though he was the youngest of the three yautja and while I was sad about his death, it was good that he died a warrior's death, though it was unfortunate since he was impregnated with a Predalien. But I was kinda sad that Celtic, the eldest of the three yautja, was killed off by Grid, the same xenomorph that killed Chopper. I was honestly rooting for him, but he unfortunately was overconfident and was savoring his victory which was his undoing. I would've liked to see Celtic earn his plasma caster along with Scar

Nice reaction, especially because in your montage you could see more of the second exciting half of the movie, which is what I'm all about anyway when I watch reactions to AVP.
If you don't have a special SciFi phase right now and movies from other genres are ok, I suggest the classic "A Bronx Tale" (1993) at this point.
AVP and AVP Requiem have been retconned with the release of Prey. So they are no longer cannon.

After you guys watch the next avp movies that's pretty much it for the crossover movies. HOWEVER there's an excellent fan film that's free to watch online called avp redemption. Highly recommend that if you're interested.

Absolutely they should. Check out some of that predalien action
'The Predator" is awful, don't waste your time, at least James Cameron says "AVP" is the third best film in the franchise.
It's a shame cause it could've been great but they executed it poorly and left alot of plot holes and left things unexplored.
For me, Prey is the best Predator movie. It even managed to replace the original.
AvP was quite entertaining, what came after that was unbearable.
