This was a mix by the brand "expert gardener" its not my favorite but it is in my local shops and inexpensive for now..I specifically don't name the brand in this video though because every mix will have to be modified for your personal home and what is available for everyone locally is different🤗

I think the info is too general. Stating peat moss is no good is not necessarily true. They can thrive in that. It all depends on the environment. I have some peps from the nursery in straight peat moss and they thrived in the nursery and have continued to thrive in my house since I bought them

Thank you so much for watching Torrie :) The information is very general..it is geared more towards beginners. Absolutely peat moss can be used :) a lot of nurseries and growers will mix in perlite and/or sand and make it more well draining and it can work well in some environments..it is just that using only peat moss would be very moisture retentive and if not properly cared for by a knowledgeable plant parent it is a recipe for root rot. Even most nurserys will have an additive with peat for their peperomia..its great for rooting plants though which is why starter pods are filled with it. Peperomia are epaphytic so they really like to have their roots breathe and I 100% agree with you that the mix depends on the environment :)
