  • Mongolians seek ways to fight pollution
Mongolia's capital is one of the coldest in the world, as well as being among the most polluted in winter.
More than half the residents living in Ulaanbaatar's suburbs burn coal to keep warm.
They are getting frustrated because of failed government bids to cut the pollution and are now starting to take action.
    Al Jazeera's Pearly Jacob reports.

it actually doe snot. 80- 90% come from coal heating in ger district, the rest comes from the 4 power plants of Ulaanbaatar city and vehicles. It has reached dramatic levels, it was 5 times worse than Beijing in December , 2016. For at least 4 months the AQI is on hazardous levels.
