Went to the SF concert a solid Jurin Bias but came out an absolute Chisa bias (I still love you Jurin) She absolutely devoured this cover and also the cover of Keisha Cole - Love and now I can’t stop thinking about her and her voice. Chisa is an absolute goddess.
Chisa did not just sing this, she told the story with every upsetting emotion along the way. The golden voices of XG are once in a generation happening.
She is such a legend for doing this… u just dont get a whitney houston off the shelf and not do it extremely well. Its one of those songs u just dont mess with unless you are extremely confident with ur skills.
she's amazing! She sang Toxic for us in Las Vegas last Friday but I really wish she sang this to us LOL. Y'all lucky in LA! She did great. Her voice isn't as full as I thought it was but she did wonderful. Not bad for singing a Filipino song.
"Her voice isn't as full as I thought it wa" are you talking about toxic cover? She was dancing that's why she did not sound full. If you are talking about I have nothing cover, I think it's the recording & she's not going to exhaust her vocal chords for a cover. She should not over work her vocal chords because they are still not matured yet. A vocalist hit their peak in their late 40s. She should take it slow strengthening & maturing her vocal chords & building up stamina. She's very tiny & dainty. It takes a lot of energy out of her to sing loud. I have seen two times when she struggled to walk on her own after a performance because she was exhausted. I have seen hundreds of videos where Filipino kids singing very high & destroying their vocal chords.
