LA fan......I will listen to anyone being upset EXCEPT the Yankees fans or the cheating Astros. For 40+ years the Yankees bought an all star team and rubbed it everyone's face. The Dodgers got a new TV contract and spent on the organization..... updated stadium, better staff and scouts and yes more and better free agents than they ever could before. In my opinion more than the best team but best organization..... from rookie ball to AAA and in MLB. They could have easily kept most of in their back pockets but unlike most teams that only want to "stay competitive" and make money they invested in the Dodgers and in the city. We have a team that deserves to be supported and that almost everyone wants to work or play for. We thank you.
I could tell there are nothing but Yankee haters here. The Yankees had a lot of Homegrown talent as well. And they didnt deferred contracts. So let's stop pretending like The Dodgers are any better. People just love to hate The Yankee all because of The titles they have. There is literally no other reason. Because at least the players didnt talk crap like Dodger players are doing after winning. The craziest part is that this is baseball. The Dodgers could get knocked out in the 5 game NLDS series next year and everyone will stop crying and start rejoicing, it almost happened this year. Everyone crying about nothing. We're assembling an all star team to make the regular season so spicy. But when it comes to October, anything can happen.
Let em Know big daugg… LA native here , Grew up 2 miles away from Dodgers stadium since the 90s bih, been rocking with the boys in blue since we were dirt cheap .. Andre Either times!!!!
In Major League Baseball, cheating offenses are considered especially heinous. In Los Angeles, the players tired of the often dismissed 2020 World Series title and deception of the Houston Astros in 2017, are members of an elite squad known as The LA Dodgers. These are the consequences.
All the padres fans are extra embarrassing. Especially these guys 6:50 , like damn grow a pair and some dignity. At least giants fans are acting like they still have a measurable T-count.
It shows that the other teams and their fans are soft asf... its they play like little boys against real men. It at least seems that way. The way these other organizations keep crying.
I hope fans are aware that ANY TEAM can defer money. ANY TEAM can sign anyone as long as owners want to spend money. There is nothing illegal about what's going on... instead of being upset at the Dodgers, be upset at your owner and front office.
No other team has an 8 billion dollar contract with Time Warner. And also, MLB were literally gonna veto the Padres deferral deal with Aaron Judge. Just saying. So it’s not really the same.
Agreed, but how are either of those things the Dodgers’ fault? They’re not circumventing the rules, the Padres should have been able to defer that Judge contract IF that rule was in place then. Not sure if it was at that point. The deferral rule was part of the last CBA.
@@SpaceMonkeyHimselfI always hear this stupid comment about other teams and deferred contracts. Jyst like the other person said, other teams dont have those cable contracts. Yamamoto was only signing wirh the Dodgers. No team really had a shot. So you think if the Marlins offered Soto a deferred contract he would sign with them? The Brewers? Baseball is unwatchable right now. Small market teams have no shot at signing great players. There's no parity right now.
@@TheTeacherUSCand how’s that the Dodgers fault? So they should just be nice? And not improve their team… this is sports, this is business either way you put your foot on the neck of you wanna win
@karlosrules They are taking advance of the dumb rules of MLB to favor big market teams. How many teams do deferred contracts? MLB players union don't want a salary cap. You think they love the game and the integrity of the sport? MLB should never allow it. The deferred contract to Ohtani and Yamamoto is ridiculous. Also, everyone knows Ohtani bet on those games. If it was a player making the minimum, he would have been banned for life. His translator betting against Ohtani? Please. It's not the Dodgers fault but it first maje it right. I would love to see your son playing for little league for the local city park. The one where it's Johnny's first year playing baseball. But here comes the schedule and they play against travel ball teams. You would be the first one crying about how unfair that is. Well, that's major league baseball right now. You have about 4-5:travel ball teams and the rest can't compete. It's pretty simple. I just love baseball, but it's unwatchable at this point. It was a great game a long time ago. Ratings stink and there's not a level playing field. Small market teams have no shot.
Whats funny , Before Snell signed with the Giants last year. He was looking for a long term deal and no one wanted to offer him the contract. Even the 182 mill right now. Teams didn’t wanna give it to him but all of a sudden Dodgers said ok we’ll give u a long term contract. Everyone is up and arms about it. There were plenty of times other Teams could have signed him but they didn’t...Also, Deffered contract is not exclusive to Dodgers. All MLB teams can do the same,. Actaully deffered contracts has been happening for more than 30 yrs. that's why there was the Bobby Bonilla contract.
Dude, the deferred contracts were no way near what the Dodgers ate doing right now. Bonilla was really the only one and that was plain stupid. The Dpdgers spent $1 billion to sign Ohtani and Yamamoto. They only paid them $7 million last year. If they paid them the regular contract the payroll would have been over $340 million. I doubt yiu know the tax thresholds there are. Over $250 million they would lose a 1st round pick 10 slots. That would put them in the 2nd round by the time they drafted their first player. Over $293 million in payroll, they would pay 110% in taxes over that amount. It's stupid ridiculous numbers and you don't hear of that in the NFL. A sport with a salary cap where superstars will sign with smaller market teams since the cap is at $185 million. The dumbest thing is to hear so called fans saying small market teams can spend money too. Where was Yamamoto signing? Where is Soto signing? Is he signing with Colorado? Cincy? Marlins? Tampa Bay? The new Athletics? I pay attention to the Vegas odds. None of those teams and 20+ more don't have a shot. With a salary cap, the Dodgers could afford to sign both Ohtani and Yamamoto, only one. Freeman, Teoscar, Snell, Edmon, and a few others. The NL west would be closer if one of those guys signed with AZ or SD. Good for bandwagon Dodgers fans in the near future. Horrible business for Baseball. Have fun buying $25 churros and spending 3 hours stuck in traffic after the game. I went to a game in July and it was ridiculous. Does anyone remember that the Dodgers played and beat Blake Snell's team in the World Series, and then proceeded to finish ahead of Blake Snell's team in the division the last four years? Why is this such a devastating problem? Where were all the complaints in the offseason when San Diego added Snell, Yu Darvish, Joe Musgrove and Ha-seong Kim, and signed Tatis to a $340 million extension? It's also hilarious that more than one person in this video acknowledges that their rotation was massacred with injuries this year, with Tyler Glasnow, Shohei Otani, Clayton Kershaw, Tony Gonsolin, Bobby Miller, James Paxton, Dustin May and Gavin Stone unavailable for the post-season, and Blake Treinen, Walker Buehler & Yoshinobu Yamamoto missing significant time to injury during the season. Yet each person who mentions this fact does so in the context of complaining that the addition of an oft-injured pitcher in his 30s, who even in his prime was seldom allowed to pitch the 7th inning, is somehow breaking the competition. What on earth makes anyone think all of those injured pitchers, plus Snell are going to be healthy THIS year? The 2024 Dodgers team was HAMMERED by the injury bug, but they gritted their teeth, played through the pain, and did not give up, even on the brink of elimination, even when down by five runs in a World Series game, a heretofore insurmountable obstacle in 696 previous games, and yet these people are acting like this is some sort of privilege or advantage! As every announcer who mentioned that fact in the playoffs stated, no one was crying for them. Well, that's the flipside. No tears for the team trying to win a World Series with three healthy starters, who only started a total of 44 games between them, no tears for the 29 other teams for not being as attractive a place to play that superstars will defer big chunks of their salary to be a part of their success.
Regarding Roki, people don't realize that Dave Roberts can be a key factor in Roki's decision. Its not just Othani and Yamamoto, Roberts is also Japanese. Having the skipper understand your culture in depth and knowing you'll be treated right, backed up by Othani and Yamamoto's testimonial on how their treated goes along way
As a Dodgers fan... you still got play the damn game. You don't play the damn game on paper! They weren't exactly dominate the playoffs. If the pitching staff actual holds up then the Dodgers are obvious the team to beat.
As a lifelong dodgers fan this warms my heart to see padres fans crying about the dodgers signing everyone when the padres overpaid for every free agent SS in the league for the last 5 years to keep them away from the Dodgers 😂😂😂😂
That’s why I don’t understand the hate. In sports history, the team who wins and acquires loads of talent tends to get put under a microscope and having fans coping to the max. The emphasis in the Dodgers organization is to win World Series titles, if anyone else’s team was doing this, they wouldn’t be complaining or saying “MLB needs a salary cap!”
Those aren't real fans and I'm being serious. No Yankee fans who are clamoring for Juan Soto to stay are out there whining about the Dodgers spending. Those are nothing but fake fans who don't want to win.

I find it funny how people say it's "rigged" that the Dodgers can just defer payments and sign big names. The thing is, other teams can do this, too. They just don't.
Dodgers fan here. Nobody was saying anything when the Yankees were doing this in the 90’s or a few years ago what the padres tried to do the same thing. Simply put F.U. TO ALL THE HATERS this is and won’t be the last time a team does this. The dodgers are going to have a 6 man staff all their young pitchers like may, miller , Sheehan etc. will get us whatever we need to fill the gaps I.e a Closer or younger talent that we can use in future trades years from now. System works have your teams look into it.
This may be because I wasn't alive in the 90s and I live on the East Coast, but I thought everyone was complaining about the 90s Yankees. I'm personally fine with this because my favorite team is in the AL and the Dodgers (and Dodger haters) are fun to watch.
Newsflash...ANY team could have signed Snell to a multi-year deal in 2024. But they didn't. Giants signed him to a 2-year contract with an opt-out after 1st year. So all Snell did was audition that one year and Dodgers grabbed him...
Haters should blame Bobby Bonilla for deferring his contract back in 2011 ($1.19 million every year until 2035) when he was with the Mets 😂 But nobody is whining about that contract. Go Dodgers!!!!
I live in Sun Diego and I went to a game when Snell was pitching and struggled because he was throwing injured. That didn't stop the Padre fans from booing him. So, in spite of the Friar fans, I'm glad he's going to the Dodgers, who by the way, is not your rival, only the Giants and Yankees, who know how to win it all, are the Blue Crew rivals. BTW, Theyve booed Soto, Profar, and Kim in early 2023. Their own players. I hope the other two leave as well.
So we’re really hating on the Dodgers for emphasizing roster building and making it a priority to win the World Series in 2025? Y’all are so soft lmao if you don’t like what they’re doing, then beat them on the diamond! All these Padres fans crying, this is why we’ll never win anything, always complaining, always being arrogant and being arrogant when we haven’t done anything!

@@TheTeacherUSC there's always that one asswhole who says "we? You're not on the team". Yes, we're not on the team but we associate with them because they play for and represent our city. EVERYONE says we so congratulations, YOU'RE that asswhole. Pat yourself on the back, Junior.
Padres fans complaining acting like their team didn't spend a billion dollars on 4 players and trading away juan soto 😂😂😂
THANK YOU FINALLY SOMEBODY SAID IT don’t forget the the whole James shield’s experiment before that 🤣 padres been trying to buy a ring
nothing is stopping other billionaire owners from signing any player. hate the dodgers all you want, but you should really hate your team who doesn't want to spend money.
It's not the teams In general, it's more the owners
I hear people like you that don't know anything and it's pathetic. You think Soto is signing with the Athletics? What about the Brewers? Rockies? Im pretty sure he'll sign with the Marlins or Cincinnati, correct? No small market teams has a shot with the superstars. Get that through your little pea brain. When there's no salary cap and there's ridiculous deferred contracts, small market teams can't compete and there's no parity. If there was a salary cap, you would see Yamamoto signing with Houston or Soto signing with the Marlins. There's only 4 teams right now who have a shot at the WS. I love baseball, but its going down hill and unwatchable where the game is going. Good luck buying $25 churros.
@@TheTeacherUSC the A's have the 5th richest owner in baseball, you proved his point. The A's could have Judge, Harper, Lindor, Betts, Freeman and Tatis, but they choose not to.

“Did he even want to be a Dodger?” I can’t believe Andrew Friedman held a gun to Blake Snell’s head and forced him to sign a contract.
The tears are so delicious. The rantings and whining are like music. Dudes, your teams can do the same things the Dodgers have been doing. They just choose not to. Focus your ire at them.
Can't begin to describe the amount of joy it brings us knowing that he's going to piss off both giants and padres fans every time he starts in San Francisco/San Diego
We're not that mad lil bro

Except for Freeman and Mookie.
@@jessygarciHate due to big market and winning is natural. People aren't clowning on the Yankees organization or team or majority of the fans, they're clowning the fans that act like the team can't compete in contract offers

The Astros pissed-off Dodger ownership in 2017. These are the consequences. Blame Houston.
Now WE'RE making America mad again. Trashtros are yesterday's news.
In Major League Baseball, cheating offenses are considered especially heinous. In Los Angeles, the players tired of the often dismissed 2020 World Series title and deception of the Houston Astros in 2017, are members of an elite squad known as The LA Dodgers. These are the consequences.
There’s actually a great video on certain teams representing the 7 deadly sins before the season started… the Dodgers representing Anger

Apparently not. I guess nowadays it's "Everybody wins!"
It shows that the other teams and their fans are soft asf... its they play like little boys against real men. It at least seems that way. The way these other organizations keep crying.
Yankees fans crying about this is nasty work.
lol after all the decades of them being the evil empire. How the turn tables
I'm a dodgers fan and this is amazing. I subscribed. Please make a video like this for all dodgers announcements. Omg amazing video lol
Man this is just what I needed to fuel my morning workout🤣 LFG DODGERS!!!
I love baseball but MLB has made it unwatchable. Right now there's only 4 teams with a shot at winning a WS. Dodgers, Mets, Phillies and Yankees if they sign Soto. If not, only three teams.
@@TheTeacherUSC I'm having trouble with what to pair in drinking your tears. Do I go grapes, biscuits with caviar, cheese or just bring the whole charcuterie board?

Well said Dodgers 2025
Other teams wait to the last minute to get Snell. Dodgers get him now and everyone cries about it.
Anyone else loving all these tears?!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Can u do this compilation again with sasaki to dodgers?

EXACTLY. The Dodgers have lead all teams in all sports _in the world_ in paid attendance since 1958.
Good compilation.
To my surprise, this is more fun than Yankees fans moaning about that 5th inning.
Regarding Roki, people don't realize that Dave Roberts can be a key factor in Roki's decision. Its not just Othani and Yamamoto, Roberts is also Japanese. Having the skipper understand your culture in depth and knowing you'll be treated right, backed up by Othani and Yamamoto's testimonial on how their treated goes along way
Doubt it.
Does Roberts even speak Japanese? I never heard him speak it.
Went from “oh the dodgers are just gonna choke” to “dodgers are gonna ruin baseball”
6:01 Keep crying.
As a Dodgers fan... you still got play the damn game. You don't play the damn game on paper! They weren't exactly dominate the playoffs. If the pitching staff actual holds up then the Dodgers are obvious the team to beat.
They was definitely dominant only ones who gave them a run was the padres Mets and yankess both were cake walks
As a lifelong dodgers fan this warms my heart to see padres fans crying about the dodgers signing everyone when the padres overpaid for every free agent SS in the league for the last 5 years to keep them away from the Dodgers 😂😂😂😂
The dudes at 7:00 minutes are like "nobody cares about the giants" as if the padres have any sort of heritage to be an actual rival to the dodgers
Why is everyone crying, Yankees were always signing top players.
Italk studios isn’t really a hater, he aight

I find it funny how people say it's "rigged" that the Dodgers can just defer payments and sign big names. The thing is, other teams can do this, too. They just don't.
I love being a Dodger fan 🙏🏽
Go Dodgers!!!!
this is actually such a well made video😭😭😭😭😭
People mad at the business of baseball smh . Acting like the dodgers just became good overnight. It has been many heart break off-seasons untill now
I live in Sun Diego and I went to a game when Snell was pitching and struggled because he was throwing injured.
