I love this city. It was the first place that truly felt like home to me. I lived there for 23 years, longer than any other place I've lived. It is distinctly itself and feels like a living, breathing thing when you spend time there. The only reason I left was it stopped being home when my husband passed away. I couldn't move forward when every street reminded me of what I lost. But I do still love the place. There's no place like it for those who connect with it.
Yeah, I agree, fun fact Burnham also proposed a design of the City of Manila but it was never realized. Manila would be Neoclassical city as well. Some buildings are built though, the Post Office and the three National Museums are beautiful Neoclassical buildings.

His story is his story and all these ridiculous fire stories that happened a lot back then because we now know that what happened in Maui recently happened to these cities I believes they call it a reset.

Glad you made that connection and I'm sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss
I love Chicago but I really wish the Burnham Plan was fully realised. Chicago would have rivalled Washington DC for its classical architecture

Bro Shangai in China is the fastest growing city, not Chicago.
Nah, that’d be shenzhen for China. Shanghai was already a notable city
Bro, there is the word „once“ in front of „the fastest growing city“. This implies we’re speaking about the past.
Bro can't read 😂
Don't worry, I'm mentally disabled too. I also, like you, can't comprehend context.
Fantastic series!!
Thanks!
