    Very impressive! I have built a number of large wooden kits,but that looks like the most difficult one I have ever seen!

      Thank you! This is not so difficult!

    Hi,
    many thanks for these fantastic videos. They are a perfect guidance for me.
    Short question regarding the motor type. You mentioned that the 500 is a good choice. I wonder what version to pick as this one comes as “Max Power” (slower spin speed 5400 turns/min) and “Max Speed” (12000 turns/min). Every advise would be much appreciated

      Hi! Thank you for your appreciation! 500s are a good choice for a boat like this which is not a speed or race boat. If you have any "sport" idea a would suggest to switch for brushless motors. Max Power 500 gives more torque and you can use a bigger propeller on the other end Max Speed 500 runs at higher rpm. However, I don't think this is a racing or sporty model. Cheers

    Hi, I enjoy your videos, beautiful work . May I ask on your choice of motors and shafts. Why not the Amati transmission kit with motors and reduktion gear and rudder ?

    • @BacktoHardware
      @BacktoHardware  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Eik, thank you for your appreciation! I've chosen those motors and shafts because I roughly know they work good and give a good glide. Amati transmission kit for motors and esc is not very powerful and the old esc I remember doesn't have reverse and don't accept LiPo batteries, plus, I have my components to use.

      Back to Hardware thank you for quick answer , I have bought the kit incl, mentioned transmission kit , and wonder if I should not use Amati kit. And use more quality shafts etc. The water pickup for cooling is it homemade?, and is the return Water to exit through exhaust holes from the kit?any other info on the kit before I start ?, thank you for you time

      Eik Enevoldsen water pick up is commercial, you have to drill holes at the very early stage before starting mounting everything. I will mount a pipe into the drilled kit exhausts. Please ask you have any question, there is too much to say. Thank you

    Ciao un altro bellissimo video... che diametro interno hanno i tubi di carico/scarico acqua ? Grazie!

    • @BacktoHardware
      @BacktoHardware  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ciao grazie, tutti i tubi di carico e scarico sia alluminio che ottone, sono di diametro interno 3mm e diametro esterno 4mm. Anche le serpentine di raffreddamento dei motori hanno le stesse misure. Di conseguenza i tubi in silicone di collegamento hanno diametro interno compatibile con l'esterno degli altri. A presto!

      Thank you Bill Sokol! Propeller have 30mm diameter and motors are 500! There will be no pump, the water is pushed in by the proppellers! You can have a look to video n. 24 for a better view

      @BacktoHardware  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, I'm based in Italy ... I use a razor hand plane, a small block of wood with sandpaper and a modeling knife to shape and a nail inserter for the nails. I hope it helps!

    Ciao complimenti per i video volevo chiederti se le luci e i motori fossero originali del kit amati oppure avessi acquistato tuo pezzo per pezzo? Inoltre per qualsiasi altra informazione hai un modo per contattarti su altri social? Te ne sarei grato Anche io sto realizzando lo stesso modello e trovo ottimi i tuoi video per avere tante informazioni in più

      Ivano Morelli Ciao, grazie per il gradimento! I led non sono acquistabili come kit, vanno presi a parte, come i fari di poppa e va realizzato l’impianto di alimentazione ; invece la parte motori e regolatore penso possa essere presa come kit ma conviene contattare il produttore o rivolgerti a un negozio si fiducia. Tuttavia ho scelto io tutti i componenti (motori, regolatore, servo, ricevitore etc) secondo quanto ritengo necessario. Puoi farmi tutte le domande che vuoi qui su TH-cam, ma se hai pazienza farò a breve un video sulla parte elettrica di trazione e controllo! A presto e grazie

      Back to Hardware grazie a te per la risposta, sarebbe possibile avere i link delle parti che hai scelto sia per l’impianto di illuminazione sia per quanto riguarda la parte rc: motori assi etc. penso che sia uno dei pochi modelli di riva che abbia visto realizzato con questa accortezza. Io pensa che ne sto rifacendo un secondo da poter motorizzare quindi penso che sarai la mia guida!

      Ivano Morelli led, resistenze e basetta si trovano presso i negozi di elettronica, il filo è quello dei cavi ethernet; per il resto dei componenti sono quelli standard per modelli navali, ci sono vari siti sia in Italia che in USA e Inghilterra che hanno tutto il materiale necessario!

      Back to Hardware sapresti indicarmi la lunghezza degli alberi se vanno bene da 3 o da 4mm da 200 mm o da 250mm? Grazie come sempre della risposta se hai dei link dei siti di cui parli mi farebbe piacere dare un’occhiata.
