Absolutely beautiful boat. Twin V-12s? Damned I'd bet she's faster than a cat with its tail on fire. That is a ridiculous amount of chrome parts, but it looks amazing on ther beautifully finished wood. The mahogany deck is stunning. Thanks for sharing the rebuild journey with those of us that could never afford such a finely crafted vessel.
What an awesome project ! May I assume it is better than new ? Perfect finish and interior. The sound of the engines is great. A Dutch ode to the nostalgic Riva. Great job guys !!

Great video, I love the music. When I was a kid, I spent the summer vacations on the french riviera. There was a Riva Aquarama (belonging to a tycoon who had his mansion close to my grand-father's house) coming almost everyday from Saint-Tropez. It was tethered to the pier of the beach for hours and I liked to swim around it, looking at its details.
Hi, There is no words than can convey just how magic and marvellous and the work skill and therefore the finished boat and engines in this one-off is. I am greener than green if thats possible with envy! Thanks for the upload. Just one thing, I do not remember seeing the final drive before the transom, so being just an ordinary working man who has been invalided for 25 years, can you tell me whether this is driven by a propeller? Take care and I am crying as I used to be good with my hands but just do not have the strength anymore to use the skills I had. mrbluenun
You could likely still build models of boats and stuff with wood and such. Smaller pieces cut and bend much easier. The skill to make the smaller pieces fit properly is still a high skill process.
Beautiful restoration. I can’t imagine how many hours went into it. Just the chrome work had to cost a fortune! Love all the Jazz in the soundtrack!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

What a sexy boat ! One of the best Riva restorations I've ever seen, and of an iconic boat with tremendous historical value. And it smoothly and easily goes like a rocket - no wonder the guys are having fun !
That was a lovely way to spend 23:20. I still have the copy of that car magazine that had that photograph, always wanted to know the story. Very satisfying to have conclusion on the matter, and that the vessel is still much loved. @@friendlypiranha774 Two Italian beauties together would have been a sight to see.
What a sexy boat ! One of the best Riva restorations I've ever seen, and of an iconic boat with tremendous historical value. And it smoothly and easily goes like a rocket - no wonder the guys are having fun !
bellissimo restauro, complimenti bravi
That was a lovely way to spend 23:20.
I still have the copy of that car magazine that had that photograph, always wanted to know the story.
Very satisfying to have conclusion on the matter, and that the vessel is still much loved.
I feared it was just some sort of hack hotrod job, but knowing that it was officially commissioned by Ferrucio Lamborghini made it very special indeed.
I now have the urge to watch Porco Rosso again.
Just an amazing video of two icons - fabulous music too 😍
Simply the very best speedboats in the world, Italian flair, style, perfection
From Italy.........wonderful!
Absolutely beautiful! As far as the 1970’s Love Boat music, well that’s another story for another time.
