My craziest draft achievement to this day is that during a Conflux draft I hardcasted Progenitus.
I still lost because I made a mistake blocking immediately after.
But I summoned Progenitus.
Man that simic guildgate moment was great showmanship Jim 😂

Okay, throwing Dreadbore onto Arena as Common was a godsend for my Wildcard slots, but holy crap are Pauper events going to be nasty against Rakdos decks. Phew!
How did you pass skyrider elf so many times when youre by definition 5 colors? its an oversized flier anywhere along the curve, 2 mana 2/2 to 5 mana 5/5
I've never seen a Medomai on the battlefield and I kinda want to. The extra turn does work in a Gates deck.
Your gates deck, before prime time, is what got me back into magic, although only on arena lol
seeing Dreadbore at a common is crazy. I remember it being a rare in Return to Ravnica block.
Actually could have won game 1 if you cast painful truths for 1 off mazes end and breifcase because secure the wastes was on top.

51:47 I know it's not worth doing all this math in a prerelease draft while streaming, but TECHNICALLY waiting to kill the 3/1 is better (and kinda obvious? 3 is bigger than 2)
14-5-2-2-2-2-2 = 6 turns
14-3-3-3-3-3 = 5 turns
I guess mana efficiency is the only other modifier that could affect this math, but then again they might play something bigger.
In a vacuum, in the long run yeah, but it doesn't pay off for 4 turns. A lot can make you regret the extra damage (and mana inefficiency) before then.
No more need to draft. You already did the coolest fucking thing you could do.

Yes the green screen for Karn cam isn’t perfect, a viewer who works for a movie supply company that does work for Marvel etc is making me a better one so fixed soon!
