Why are there so many stupid people in these comments that a have no idea what studio video/audio production is and how videographed covers work? She pre-recorded her sound for the cover and then performed it in front of the camera as a second take....now unless you're mentally impaired, you'll know *MOST* professionals do this, and it happens all the time for guitar, bass, vocals etc...hell, half the time there are no microphones, or amps in sight for the videos. That doesn't make it fake it makes you uninformed.

@Sebastian M (You asked me) 0:34, rhythm is v wrong, there's mini-chinas that don't exist on her kit and then in the next cut the china's moving but she hasn't hit it in the bit before, also 1:43 - 1:44 she hits as floor tom which makes a cymbal noise, either she doesn't actually know the part and the audio's from another source or she's got a v strange floor tom. There's so much work that goes into writing parts this complex and the technique needed is at such a high level, also there's a lot of people that put a load of work into editing their videos with audio and visuals (Kyle Brownlee or Nic Pettersen himself), this video doesn't really have much of that, she's good sure, but why upload audio from a different source over you playing the song incorrectly and differently from the audio? Like what's the point?

Как же надоели эти танцы за барабанами под фанеру. Ни одного микрофона на баранах, даже триггеров не видно как не высматривай. Конечно, зачем заморачиваться над звукоизвлечение, динамикой и прочей фигнёй, ведь проще накликать мышкой готовые сэмплы. Когда это кривлянье под фанеру стало интересней чем настроить каждый барабан, потратить кучу времени расставляя микрофоны для идеального звука, отточить партию до совершенства, записать, свести и т.д.. и в конечном счёте когда всё это будет сделано, получить истинное удовольствие от проделанной работы, а главное бесценный опыт. Оператор слишком активный , много бесполезных ракурсов. Конечно нельзя отрицать в целом звук и картинка на хорошем уровне , но нет в ней жизни, естественности. В том же кавре на Paramore - Misery Business всё было проще и лучше, хотя и там без подмешивания сэмплов не обошлось скорей всего.

Конкретно Matt McGuire если и пользуется сэмплами, то делает это хорошо и без палева. И партии в его коврах уникальны, ниоткуда не спижены, очень грамотно продуманы. Он пишет все видосы в один дубль, и на эту же запись уже потом подкладывает сэмплы. А не делает заранее студийную запись, и под неё кривляется. Это хорошо видно по всем его динамическим оттенкам во время игры, а особенно при игре на тарелках.
Not cool.. I watched that Plini cover for the performance and it was great but now your videos are about the visuals and the camera work and whatnot. How about just putting a camera in front of your kit and some mics to capture the performance and upload that? That's why i watch drum videos, I don't care for the cool look and perfect sound. I wanna see you play for real!
I don't feel like the better visuals take anything away from her videos though, the mix is still very good and her playing is also very good. I never saw her content as educational and I personally think better visuals make for a better experience in her case.
Well, you're not alone, parse through the comments you'll see nobody's complaining that the audio is pre-recorded or that there's no mics on the drum set, etc. Sure it looks great and it sounds great - great sound engineering and great camera work and editing, good job, guys. But I wanted to see and hear a drum performance, you know, a live, honest one. It's definitely not an educational video, unless you're watching it for video shooting techniques or video editing or, for that matter, for audio studio work. I just find real drum performances entertaining, I'm not always watching with a clinical mind set, real drum performances are a lot more entertaining than any quality of fabricated video material. I mean, I've watched hours on end of camera phone recorded performances and I found them fascinating while mtv quality videos.. they're just not all that enticing. So basically for me the point of drum videos is the drumming. I mean, take Matt McGuire's videos, who kinda pioneered this rocking motion/back and forth in capturing a drum video, which you might agree is what Kristina is looking to achieve visually too - that guy's videos, in spite of all the 'cool' visuals are actually about his on-the-spot performances. He actually plays while the video is recorded and that's what you're hearing. In this here video you're not hearing what was played as the video was shot, and I don't like that. I would have rather seen and heard the in-the-studio recording, that would have been a lot more entertaining for me. I hope that it's temporary technical issues that keep Kristina from doing real live performance videos, not that she values visuals more than her playing. That to me would be absurd, especially since she's a really good drummer and you can tell she put a lot of work into getting there.
Well, I do watch a lot of drum videos, and overall video quality is rarely what I focus on. I wanna see and hear drummers play, is what I care about. It's weird to me that not more people are vocal about this in the comments: give us a performance, we wanna see and hear you play, you know. Sure, nice video production and great studio skills, but there's enough videos like that out there, heck, I can watch commercials if I wanna see high production values. I mean it's drums, it's a niche, let's keep it honest. Yeah, sure, drums are notoriously difficult to mike, but who cares, I've listened to tons of drums that were not perfectly captured and I still loved it if it was for real, live, and the drummer was killing it. I mean, and I don't wanna go on looking like I'm attacking Kristina, I know she can play, but if, say, someone sang a song and you learned it was pre-recorded wouldn't you be a little upset? I mean, I'd go as far as to say that labeling this video a drum cover is a little bit deceptive.. look, when you're gonna see Kristina play for real (like in her Plini cover) you're gonna know what you've been missing, if you care for drum performances that is. And Kristina is a good drummer, which is why this whole thing bothers me. She's got talent and she's not making the most of it with these overproduced type videos.

The drums are fake though. It's all been sampled and placed over the video, I don't think she's as good as she's shown to be.
You should check out her Plini cover where her playing is conspicuous and mic'd. To me that shows that she can easily play this northlane cover.

Как же надоели эти танцы за барабанами под фанеру. Ни одного микрофона на баранах, даже триггеров не видно как не высматривай. Конечно, зачем заморачиваться над звукоизвлечение, динамикой и прочей фигнёй, ведь проще накликать мышкой готовые сэмплы. Когда это кривлянье под фанеру стало интересней чем настроить каждый барабан, потратить кучу времени расставляя микрофоны для идеального звука, отточить партию до совершенства, записать, свести и т.д.. и в конечном счёте когда всё это будет сделано, получить истинное удовольствие от проделанной работы, а главное бесценный опыт. Оператор слишком активный , много бесполезных ракурсов. Конечно нельзя отрицать в целом звук и картинка на хорошем уровне , но нет в ней жизни, естественности. В том же кавре на Paramore - Misery Business всё было проще и лучше, хотя и там без подмешивания сэмплов не обошлось скорей всего.

Позже выпустил видео,одним дублем вальнул сложнейший и красивый трек на борнОфосирис что ли уже не помню)) И Кристине того желаю!)
по мойму можно. Но не поленись послушать оригинальный трек, и ты не найдёшь разницы в звуке между оригиналом и этим кавером, потому что её нет). Так а какой записи ты говоришь друг?)
Конкретно Matt McGuire если и пользуется сэмплами, то делает это хорошо и без палева. И партии в его коврах уникальны, ниоткуда не спижены, очень грамотно продуманы. Он пишет все видосы в один дубль, и на эту же запись уже потом подкладывает сэмплы. А не делает заранее студийную запись, и под неё кривляется. Это хорошо видно по всем его динамическим оттенкам во время игры, а особенно при игре на тарелках.

Not cool.. I watched that Plini cover for the performance and it was great but now your videos are about the visuals and the camera work and whatnot. How about just putting a camera in front of your kit and some mics to capture the performance and upload that? That's why i watch drum videos, I don't care for the cool look and perfect sound. I wanna see you play for real!
I don't feel like the better visuals take anything away from her videos though, the mix is still very good and her playing is also very good.
I never saw her content as educational and I personally think better visuals make for a better experience in her case.
Well, you're not alone, parse through the comments you'll see nobody's complaining that the audio is pre-recorded or that there's no mics on the drum set, etc. Sure it looks great and it sounds great - great sound engineering and great camera work and editing, good job, guys. But I wanted to see and hear a drum performance, you know, a live, honest one.
It's definitely not an educational video, unless you're watching it for video shooting techniques or video editing or, for that matter, for audio studio work. I just find real drum performances entertaining, I'm not always watching with a clinical mind set, real drum performances are a lot more entertaining than any quality of fabricated video material. I mean, I've watched hours on end of camera phone recorded performances and I found them fascinating while mtv quality videos.. they're just not all that enticing.
So basically for me the point of drum videos is the drumming. I mean, take Matt McGuire's videos, who kinda pioneered this rocking motion/back and forth in capturing a drum video, which you might agree is what Kristina is looking to achieve visually too - that guy's videos, in spite of all the 'cool' visuals are actually about his on-the-spot performances. He actually plays while the video is recorded and that's what you're hearing. In this here video you're not hearing what was played as the video was shot, and I don't like that. I would have rather seen and heard the in-the-studio recording, that would have been a lot more entertaining for me.
I hope that it's temporary technical issues that keep Kristina from doing real live performance videos, not that she values visuals more than her playing. That to me would be absurd, especially since she's a really good drummer and you can tell she put a lot of work into getting there.

Well, I do watch a lot of drum videos, and overall video quality is rarely what I focus on. I wanna see and hear drummers play, is what I care about. It's weird to me that not more people are vocal about this in the comments: give us a performance, we wanna see and hear you play, you know. Sure, nice video production and great studio skills, but there's enough videos like that out there, heck, I can watch commercials if I wanna see high production values.
I mean it's drums, it's a niche, let's keep it honest. Yeah, sure, drums are notoriously difficult to mike, but who cares, I've listened to tons of drums that were not perfectly captured and I still loved it if it was for real, live, and the drummer was killing it.
I mean, and I don't wanna go on looking like I'm attacking Kristina, I know she can play, but if, say, someone sang a song and you learned it was pre-recorded wouldn't you be a little upset? I mean, I'd go as far as to say that labeling this video a drum cover is a little bit deceptive..
look, when you're gonna see Kristina play for real (like in her Plini cover) you're gonna know what you've been missing, if you care for drum performances that is. And Kristina is a good drummer, which is why this whole thing bothers me. She's got talent and she's not making the most of it with these overproduced type videos.
