Thanks for the preview! I'd love to hear what the player interaction is like... Is there much table talk, negotiations, diplomacy between players? If you have any insight with regard to this, would really appreciate your thoughts :) thank you so much once again!
I get where you're coming from. Hegemony is my favorite game though, so it'll never leave my collection. But I have only gotten it to the table a handful of times 😭
If the military bases were colour coded, I think you could simply place them into the region of your allied country, because it doesn't really matter in which of your allies it was built as long as you don't build more bases than base icons on ally cards of that region.
Haven't watched this video or your one on Avalon but I've already backed both! Can't wait to hear your thoughts! Unless they're super negative then that would totally suck for my wallet haha.
Outside of the current conflict in Ukraine, Russia has a long history and continuation of anti-LGBTQIA laws & persecution. It's a challenge to personally put that aside when playing, as I'm sure it is for others with different "super powers" for any number of reasons.
Well the U.S has one of the highest incarceration rates for a industrialized country and I think in don't have to beginn with the human rights situation in china. You could even critice the EU for making deal regarding the refugee situation with very questionable governments like Libya etc. Of course I don't want to talk the crimes of the Russian state down but I think one should not be to emotional when it comes to games and playing as a certain nation
And everyone should feel to opt out for any of those reasons if they feel uncomfortable playing. That's the point but I'm not sure you watched the video.
@@ThinkerThemer I total agree and promote people's freedom of choice which is why those in western societies are so lucky. That's also one of the reasons I love boardgames and not computer games where we can have these discussions when the occasion feels right.
Thank you both! This video connected with me really well to see if I needed to pick this up!
Thanks for the review. Haven't bought a game in a couple of years but I'm gearing towards this one.
Thanks so much for this. Love Hegemony and was really curious how the two games compare.
Maps with half of New Zealand is a new one
The land of the Halflings.
Man, you'll get a laugh out of the Cthulhu Wars 6-player map, believe me ;)
Helpful observations and good insights on your two player + automa experience as well. Cheers!
Great summary guys,many thanks.
In the final printing they should also add a soft patterns to the colours for the colourblind.
And a BRICS and cyber warfare add on are called for.

I sold mine for lack of plays
How long did your 3 player runs take?

Hi Amy and Maggie! I love the look of your shelves behind you! Do you happen to remember the name or brand of it?
Thank you so much so your video :)
There are valid criticisms here. As an all in backer, hopefully these may get addressed.
Could've been a very short video 😂
Great to see you are back 💪
Can you play single player ?
They just added single player to the kickstarter i believe, but I don't think they have posted details on it yet
Games like this is better digitized.

Games like these are made for 4p. Not 2, in my opinion. It's fine that it's possible. but it wouldn't nearly be as good as a 4p game.
Can I ask why you had reservations of playing Russia?
Outside of the current conflict in Ukraine, Russia has a long history and continuation of anti-LGBTQIA laws & persecution. It's a challenge to personally put that aside when playing, as I'm sure it is for others with different "super powers" for any number of reasons.
@ThinkerThemer it is an important conversation and we are so privileged to be in Australia to openly talk about these things.
