Original composer(s): Yuko Komiyama, Akemi Kimura, Shinya Okada Wish there was more official art of this Vile. He looks cool. Download here: / vs-vile-mk-v-megaman-x...
This is AWESOME! Doesn't happen too often that someone makes a cover of an X8 track, let alone something this good. Vile V's theme is one of my favourites in the soundtrack, and in my eyes, this gives serious competition to the original. Also, what does 'FM' stand for here?
FM stands for Frequency Modulation. It's a type of synthesis that became popular at the start of the 80s. Yamaha made a lot of them, and outside of being used in a lot of popular music of the time, some video game consoles used types of FM for there sound chips (the Sega Mega Drive had one alongside it's PSG sound chip, the MSX line of computers used them, as well as many of the 80s Sega Arcade Boards).
Still my absolute favorite remix of this theme, I sincerely hope we get more banging FM X8 arranges just like it someday
Absolute banger and one of my favorite remixes of this Vile theme, the part where the lead melody is off is also super cool!
Love how the first note sounds like Zero's buster charging in X 1. I don't know if it's intentional but it's a helluva throwback.
Not intentional, but now that you mention it it does kinda sound like that lmao

@@ominouspigeonmaster1571 Thank you for explaining, very interesting
Has a genesis vibe to it. I think this version fits the Chibodee Cricket VA from Vava/Vile in the english version harmoniously well!
FM Synthesis is the MD’s main way of outputting sound lol
Damn, this version goes hard! Love it!
Thank you!
Gorgeeouusss~!

R-0V-V Vile Custom
No offense Vile, but your outfit reminds me of Boba Fett.😂
Very impressive, I liked it
Looks like Boba Fett. Lol
It doesn't help that his Japanese name is Vava, but is pronounced Baba" which sounds dangerously close to Boba
With the predator dreads yea
He's cooler then Boba and has given X far more trouble then Boba ever did the heroes
That's the joke, yes.
What FM chip is this based on? The YM2151, YM2612, or YM2610?
I used the VOPM vst for this, which emulates the YM2151 chip. Truth be told, I don't know the difference between the three lol
This sounds amazing, Loved Viles theme in X8, but you amped it up 🎧🎧🎧
Thank you!!
Awesome
Thank you!
