Cele losing concentration and expertise was genuinely not a deal breaker for some classes, harb can still run it, vindi can still run it, hell I’ve seen more tank theives and support spectars running it as opposed to power specs 😂
I think for d/d cele cata, the dagger buffs helped it more then the cele nerfs weakened it. I still think they should nerf or rework earth but I guess it fits with the roleplay, very tanky and passive traitline, kinda like a rock. You play it pretty well, but even in the hands of less skilled players it performs quite well which bothers me a little. I main d/d cata as well since 2 years ago, and Id hate to see the whole class get nerfed just bcz of earth. Cata is in general kinda safe from nerfs bcz so few ppl are able to play the class to its potential, since most of its power comes from generating auras and doing combos in different fields, and those auras can be generated from all kinds of combos, you can do elaborate combos to get way more value once you understand all the intricacies. Most of the catas I've seen that are able to perform well in 1v1s or 1vX are either playing scepter or d/d signet catas, and when asked to play something else they just die, so id much rather have earth nerfed then the whole class, as it would remove most of the complaints from ppl having problems with catas.
