Kisame is my favorite Naruto character, and i'm very satisfied with how his story ended. He got to survive the Bee fight and faked us all out into thinking he was dead, and was able to go out on his own terms after one final amazing fight with Guy. "Maybe i'm not so bad after all" Kisame was done justice in my opinion, glad he got to survive for so long as well.
The fact he wouldn't rat out itachi and the rest of the Akatsuki was epic, I just wish he had a more memorable final fight, that last fight with Gai was too short.
kisame was a cool character, bro, his survival and epic final fight with a guy definitely added to his story. "maybe i'm not so bad after all" was a great line. glad you're satisfied with how it all played out.
@@justinarzola4584 yeah, Kisame's loyalty was pretty epic, but I feel you on the final fight. It would've been cool to see him in a longer and more memorable battle.
I totally agree, kisame is also my favorite, and his death scene was one the few times I actually liked it when my favorite character dies (they always die)
Same I always liked kisame, I think had he been born in a better environment he would’ve been a good guy, he actually reminds me of kakashi, I think if they switch lives they end up in the same situations, they even both have guy as a rival
Deidara ultimately killed himself for nothing, but I honestly can’t think of a better way for him to go out. He believed that art was what lasted in the moment and in death he became his ideal masterpiece
*It's like bro, Deidara baby! Chill* ! 😝 You can't fk with the Sharingan bro 🙏! You beat Gaara single handedly *IN HIS VILLAGE* , chill brah, chill 😂😂😂
Imo there's also something that makes Sasori's death more impactful: Being the first Akatsuki member to fall. That has a lot of impact. The Akatsuki members were stated to be extremely dangerous, so much that Deidara was even able to 1v1 a Jinchuuriki. Sure, Gaara was holding back, but it's still impressive nonetheless, even holding back, Gaara is very powerful. Sasori dying marks the start of Akatsuki's fall, and it's one hell of a start
Is Dygo Joking? Konan uses Paper-Manipulation. That 1 paper flying to that specific place wasnt contrived or metaphorical or anything, it was programmed
While true, Chiyo is a kage level puppet master who taught sasori everything he knew and sakura made a poison antidote. So sasori's defeat was not exactly shocking. He had tough opponents.
@@jabohonu"At some point, Kisame is aware of the existence of Madara Uchiha and wishes to help him enact his Eye of the Moon Plan after his village deems him a criminal when His treason is discovered. "
Man deserves way more respect for going out like a real one. Man chose to die and gather intel to ensure Tobi aka OBITOS vision. That’s loyalty and honestly deserves so much more recognition.
I never quite realized how tragic Sasori was as a character when I was a kid, but something about the way he was written always struck a chord and resonated with me even though I could never fully verbalize or figure out why. Now, I think I understand. Something tells me his death was staged. What do I mean by that? I mean, it wasn’t as simple as “he suddenly felt sad then gave up on life and let himself die because he wanted a hug.” No, I think his plan from the very beginning was always to die. The way he spoke sounded almost apathetic towards life, nihilistic even. I think it’s very possible he had suicidal ideation. What are puppeteers known for? Well, obviously putting together puppet shows and grand performances through ventriloquism. In reality, I think he wanted to act out his own death. He planned his death from the very beginning because he was both a literal and metaphorical shell of his past self and he’d never feel emotionally whole ever again since the death of his parents. He described himself as “a puppet with a heart,” basically saying he was forever empty inside and that the void created by the pain and loss of his mother and father could never be filled. The reason he admired puppetry so much is because he envied it. He envied his puppets so much that he mutilated himself and everyone he bested to become one. Puppets have no need for bone or flesh, they are essentially immortalized beings. He hated the human body because it was through the human condition that his parents were lost. Humans are frail and grow old and die. Puppets, on the other hand, last forever. 14:30 *TRUE ART* lasts forever. The poor guy just wishes his parents were with him and grew an obsession with puppets so that no one would ever leave him again, because he hadn’t yet made peace with death and wanted to feel closeness to those he would otherwise eventually have to leave behind. Sasori fought Sakura and Granny Chiyo with all he had because he wanted to make his death spectacular and do so on his own terms to a semi-respectable opponent worthy of witnessing his final act, his most grand puppet show performance to date. It probably wasn’t a part of his plan to be taken out by the very puppets he created of his parents, but as dark as it sounds, I believe he was rather content with it. An unexpected but welcomed surprise, if you will. He accepted his fate because, at the very least, he could finally rest at his parents’s side under their deathly embrace. In the final moments of his closing act, it’s plausible to say that maybe…JUST maybe…he had finally felt warmth again as he took his dying breath. A warmth he hadn’t felt in a long time since the days before his mother and father passed on. Maybe now, he could finally rest. Maybe now, the wooden boy with a human heart could finally be whole again.
Such a saddening, yet fascinating answer.. Had the same feeling about Sasori, even though my child self also prevented me from fully grasping his situation. No matter how devilish his smile could get, his eyes would always betray his deep internal pain.
I couldn't have described sasori better myself You explained him in the best way in the last scene when he gives info about the spy to Sakura and then says " I don't think " I felt like he was saying I don't wanna live anymore
konan was completely made of paper. that last one going there was the last bit of her chakra returning to rest at the closest thing she could call her childhood home. finally putting them all to rest together.
Konan shouldn’t have died. And she should have had more screen time. Her abilities could have been more interesting than most of the akatsuki but we’re never explored. Also she did nothing wrong.
Yes she did, lmao. She helped kill her sensei, the only ninja that was ever decent to her. Her cruelty to Jiraiya and the Leaf Village was paid back by Obito’s cruelty to her.
@@SunlightGwyn the leaf was part of the war that destroyed her village to begin with. In fact, there is a direct correlation to why her, yahiko and nagato were in the situation that they were in. Jiraiya was an agent of their oppressors. Yes he spared them and mentored them but they saw that if him being a casualty for what they actually believed was the greater good, they were okay with it. Remember pain’s speech. Konoha has never been innocent. Not only that, Jiraiya was an intruder sent to spy on them. They were within their right to kill him on sight.
@@kevingbergiste7372 Then Konan got what she deserved for betraying Obito. Obito had the same logic that every cruel action is okay as long as it’s for the greater good. She stood in the way of that greater good and was killed for it. That’s karma. Jiraiya spying on the Rain village doesn’t outweigh the fact that he saved their lives and trained them. The Leaf were not their “oppressors”. The Leaf fought some other village and the Rain village was caught in the middle. That’s not what Konan and Pain did. They actively tried to destroy the Leaf village when the Leaf never tried to destroy the Rain village. If they were fighting some other nation and the Leaf happened to be damaged in the crossfire THEN Konan’s actions would be justified but that’s not what happened. Konan and Pain could have captured Jiraiya. That would have been the more merciful thing to do by repaying Jiraiya’s mercy AND it would have made more sense as they could have learned what the Leaf were up to. Konan ABSOLUTELY did the wrong thing by betraying Jiraiya’s kindness. Jiraiya shouldn’t have stopped Orochimaru from getting rid of Konan, Nagato and Yahiko as kids. It would have saved Jiraiya a whole bunch of problems in the future.
It seemed like after the pain arc, Konan was gonna be on Naruto's side and help him take down "Madara" or at least I feel that would be a more interesting story path. I feel like the only meaning her death has, is to just make you feel sad, just a meaningless boring pretentious death scene.
You forgot to mention that Konan died under the clearing skies of the Hidden Rain where it finally let up naturally for the first time in a very long time. With the rainbow under her as “the bridge to peace” she died believing there is still glimpse of hope(naruto) when their whole life, its just full of despair and rain.
I loved Kisame's death because of his flashback if meeting Itachi & talking about how you don't truly know yourself until you're at your end. Then he questions if Itachi ever found himself at the end as the sharks eat him.
I think many viewers *really* underestimate Hidan. If you take his loud personality out of the way, he's far more sinister than what meets the eye (personally, I find even his "Count Dracula" look to be far more intimidating than Pain's and Tobi's). Fanaticism can be limitless, and Hidan seems willing to do *anything* for Jashin. With *that* heavy red sword of his... not a good idea to test him. It's also easy to get some drops of🩸in these fights (speaking of Dracula...), which means huge trouble for his enemy. And he might be the slowest Akatsuki member, but he's still fast compared to many outsiders. Out of all the members, him and Kakuzu are the ones I'd avoid at any cost. Even though they're the weakest in theory, they seem the hardest to resonate with.
@@kiravampira1456 Oh i was referring that its kind of a running gag for Hidan to be at the bottom because he is the weakest member of the Akatsuki, insane, and probably part alien.
@aliastheabnormal Oh no, no more aliens.. it's bad enough they appeared in Boruto and the show is revolving around some of the most boring villains I've ever seen.
I've said this before, but I really wish that they could've kept talking before Nagato died. You know, Pain's speech I mean, I wish they could've continued that. This speech is so awesome, but the context it's delivered in is sort of unfortunate. Pain here isn't even talking just as a villain. He's more like a philosopher almost, a warrior who's walked a different path. The goal of his speech, the progression of it, is him simply asking Naruto "What would you do about x? What makes this thing bad? Why is this thing okay but this thing isn't okay? What gives?" He's asking Naruto very basic and fundamental questions about the broader world around him. And Naruto, the main character, simply has no answer. Being a Kage has been his dream for YEARS, as long as he can remember, yet he'd never stopped to ask himself why he wanted it, or even what responsibility that would entail. Never not once had he thought of the political world he'd be in, or about the weight he would be bearing. It's almost like it was the first time he'd ever even heard of The Hidden Rain, like he didn't know at all until Pain mentioned it, and he was completely and wholly ignorant of basic elements of shinobi history. It would've been so powerful if Naruto had an answer, even a grasping at straws answer, but he just doesn't! And it's a shame because Naruto in Part 1 questioned lots of elements about the legitimacy of the shinobi system (damn wasn't his speech to Zabuza awesome?). But the moment he's facing another ninja who has questions of his own, facing another grown man who's got convictions and dreams of his own, he almost can't even muster an answer, any answer. I wish it was really more of a dialog, not just Pain having what is almost a one sided discussion. I wish Naruto had actually tried to think of a solution aside from "believe in Jiraiya Sensei", I wish he could've had that discussion with Nagato.
I think it's the other way around, it's powerful precisely because he doesn't have an answer. While Naruto has spent much time thinking about problems like this, the cycle of violence in the Ninja world is built up to be an almost impossible task at this point. If Naruto threw something at the wall then, he'd just be dense. By realising he doesn't have a definitive answer (despite having known about the problem for a while), he shows growth and acknowledges the true complexity of the problem beyond any simple solutions you can make up on the spot.
Just imagine how awkward it would be if Sasuke did die to C0. I wonder if Itachi would approach Naruto and be like, "you gotta step up and fill in for our 'brother' now. Run them hands, 'little bro'".
Konan had so much unexplored potential... not only she had a gorgeous and alluring design, but her powers were so unusual in the good way. Gives the impression of a dark enchantress, that holds a long kept secret. So delicate-looking, yet so powerful. It would've been truly amazing if she was real and a friend of mine 💙💜🌸
Konan was the best female character in Naruto, hands down. Best design, best ability as a Kunoichi. Sad they did her dirty, with yet another sharingan ability reveal. We really needed that.
@CODA96 Agree. I can get slightly disappointed if I happen to meet a Naruto fan who doesn't remember Konan. Just by looking at her, I can come up with multiple interesting scenarios. Definitely one of the most underrated characters, if not *the* most underrated.
I agree! The author is known for disregarding most of his female characters and though Konan gets a lesser bad treatment for being the only female anti hero, Kishimoto just gave her a one grand jutsu because he’s too lazy exploring kunoichi characters. No power explanations, only few power feats, and barely screentime. Heck the main female character only has one jutsu and that is brute strength then give her ability to heal. Meanwhile every Uchiha has thousands of jutsu and different eye designs each lol.
@clarencehalbay6042 Agree with you too. Very well said. Konan had everything needed to be more than just a side character, yet we barely got to see her greatness. And yes, I never understood why Sakura didn't have a wider variety of jutsus either, being the main female character and all.
Too much just imagine the guy killed 2 jinchuriki (sorry if i spell that wrong haven’t watched naruto in a while) survived two of the strongest squads (with no arms) go against someone who only has power due to being uchiha, curse mark, and PLOT ARMOR
They're all in hell wdym? The only Salvageable one is I think Konan and even Itachi did Genocide to his own clan. I genuinely can't remember Konan doing anything wrong tbh.
Man your videos have helped me appreciate Naruto more and in a way that I never before did. the Akatsuki are such memorable villains and I never realized how deep and poetic some of their deaths were.
12:00 there is a recurring phenomenon in naruto that when a powerful ninja dies it has some kind of effect that is essentially an expression of their chakra and will. When Haku dies it snows. When Hiruzen dies it rains for days. Its not a leap to assume it's some kind of law in the world and not just poetic conicidence
Well, sakura had one of the biggest buffs of all naruto, more than sasuke and naruto, and she showed it in the sasori fight how powerful she really was, she was also accompanied by chiyo who was considered one of the most powerful weapons in sunagakure when she fights in the war, Another thing. Chiyo killed sasori, not sakura, only sakura sealed sasori's main puppet and finding his weak spot
Deidara is my favorite character he is so unique not just in Naruto but also in anime as a whole i have watched tone of anime and have never seen someone that is like him. He is also underrated by a lot imagine if he didn't kill himself just how much more powerful would he become. Also imagine he was a jinchuriki he could use the tailed beast power to make the explosions even more powerful. I feel they could have done so much more to him.
Not a huge fan of Obito but his backstory and his death was real tragic . Bro was just Naruto without plot armour . Also , he is the reason why Kakashi is still alive .
My favourite will always be Sasori and Konan death scenes. They are dripping in sorrow, poetical references and both are visually beautiful. Thats exactly what I love Naruto for, the ability to squeeze tears out of me. Both stories are perfectly explained and really grab you by the heart.
Itachi definitely had the best death as his entire fight was built up since the beginning and then that's only the beginning of his story itself Kisame nagato and diedara I'd place right after for unaliving themselves keeping to their own way of being ninja rather than be caught. Sasori was a good start to show that these powerful enemies can be killed and aren't invincible anymore but how hard it is to do it due to it being completely luck based. Konan was impactful but I wish she did more in story to really make that death feel like it hit harder. Hidan like himself was just a plot device for shikamaru and he could have done more or hurt more villagers. Kakuzu was a hype engine for Naruto and it could have been truly earned if kishi wasn't rushed.
⭐ Man always choking up, with that Itachi scene. Looking after his little bro, even after he's gone. Got that fkn split tongue snake out of him, and that weak azz curse mark😞 yet still, that damn Orochi, he played his role, ppl were scared, he was the boogy man and did cause the end of a Hokage. 👌😬 Itachi rules.
Wait a minute.. A lot of characters in Naruto have killed countless people, so why would Hidan exclusively deserve to live as a head in a hole alone forever? Not defending the guy, but thats pretty much the worst punishment I can imagine.
Samething with itachi when I saw itachi die I thought he faked it just to give sasuke victory and then comeback to life and hide himself until time come to reveal himself I didn't want him to die for real I guess I'm the only one that wish for that because I know others didn't
I have a theory why Naruto didn't finish kakuzu. I think that kishimoto tries so hard to keep Naruto's hands clean to convey his message about peace by letting others do the dirty work for him and the same goes for a lot of shonen protagonists.
Obito's death made me feel the most, probably because I'd grown to really like the character (I promise you i too was sick of seeing those flashbacks). Still I mean when he tells Naruto "You better become Hokage" it gets to me man. I love it. I'm the rare species that is called an Itachi hater or at least partially. I despised the retcon where he became a good guy so it ruined his death for me. I absolutely love Edo Itachi's death though. It was bloody brilliant. Infact if i had to rank them I'd go: 1. Obito's death (Best) 2. Edo Itachi 3. Kisame 4. Hidan 5. Nagato (I am in the camp the rinnerebirth is an asspull, especially since when I first watched that scene I thought the reason he could do it was because all those souls that one path had extracted and tossed into the mouth of that death god were stored in the death god's "stomach" and all Nagato was doing was releasing them before they got "digested" and that it was in exchange for his life like Granny Chiyo. The fact it's a normal resurrection that can happen on anyone even someone who died years ago with no consequence is hot garbage imo) 6. Konan [her death standing on it's own would be number 4 but i was just so underwhelmed by how Kishimoto was treating all the girls. (By this arc i had noticed the pattern) I was so irritated she died, I agree this was the perfect death for her but she definitely should've done more before she died like in your rewrite and why she never came back in the war arc is beyond me] 7. Deidara 8. Itachi's real death 9. Sasori (Sakura's best fight then after she and Granny Chiyo beat him fair and square they later say "he let himself get killed" ugh i hate it even more than the Itachi version. If that line did not exist this death would be number 3 but that one line ruins it for me. I hate that trope so much) 10. Kakuzu (Ngl when Naruto told everyone to just sit down and let him handle it i started to dislike the character. It kinda cheapened the other characters and i felt he was just making it all about him. Again i much prefer your rewrite version of the fight) 11. Zetsu (i hated black zetsu but for a different reason. Once Kaguya showed up i wasn't mad about it because i wanted to see her do something cool with the Byakugan but she felt like all she did was listen to Black Zetsu. The whole time during the fight i kept wishing Black Zetsu would stfu and Kaguya would think for herself. Infact the only time i even liked Black zetsu was in filler when he tempts Indra)
@@ayham418 I believe you. Still at the end of the day I am an anime watcher no point pretending I'm not. The anime version is the only version I know and those flash backs were a very real problem when watching the anime.
I feel the same. I love Obito a lot, my favorite character. And even before his death he has his very emotional moments where he says he is Kakashi’s friend, Minato’s student and an Uchiha like Sasuke. He finally becomes Obito again. His death hit so hard, and his ost was just beautiful. Naruto’s line of cool guy is pretty stupid. But Obito does acknowledge that he was a criminal and has to die. As for Itachi, yeah, I don’t like how he turned out in the end either. He feels like a mess, I really don’t see why he didn’t explain the situation to Sasuke from the beggining. He is supposed to be this saint in the end but he still did horrible stuff to Sasuke. I wish his story was more complex or interesting other then the plot twist I saw coming because of the scene in a flashback where he says something like “I’ll always be on your side, even if it’s an obstacle for you to overcome”
Man i was kinda pissed that sasegay got away from deidara pretty much for free, just had to rest after the fight, and he got rid of that snake too so it helped him out... like cmon deidaras sacrifice deserves better than that >->
My list: 1. I agree with putting Deidara at 1, I think his death was completely fitting for his character. 2. I’d rank Obito’s death at 2 because I felt like his last words to Naruto were kinda sad, like he was looking at a past version of himself. 3. Itachi, he was a legend. 4. Nagato. I think him turning good before he died and then using his life to bring back everyone was perfect. Even though everyone was brought back, the village itself was still destroyed so it’s not like nothing happened. 5. Konan’s death was sad because of that red paper scene, and the flashbacks helped. 6. Kisame 7. Sasori ranks lower for me because we barely got to see anything from him and it just didn’t feel that impactful 8. Hidan 9. Kakuzu 10. Zetsu(s)
Those are my favourites too 🌸🩸 was very little when I saw them for the first time and didn't know their backstories, but coming back over a decade later, they broke my heart. Can't think of anything even remotely as painful as losing your parents as a child. Probably that's why I still can't help but see Itachi as a threat, as attractive as he looks.
I’d always thought Kakazu’s death was sure to be on the number 10 spot and I still stand by that 😂 only thing good that came out of it was the reveal of a new jutsu.
Is Dygo Joking? Konan uses Paper-Manipulation. That 1 paper flying to that specific place wasnt contrived or metaphorical or anything, it was programmed
I still firmly believe it was because zetzu told all the kage sasuke was there at the summit. There’s a scene at the summit after karin notices a sudden commotion and gaurds moving, sugetsu says something like “I bet it was zetzu who told them” and sasuke’s face turns pissed and he starts killing the samurai saying “I’m not in a good mood right now, I won’t hold back” So sasuke killed zetzu for fucking with him 😂
I've watched your most of your previous video and I think you really hate kakuzu that much😂, and also you're deidara fan but don't worry I'm deidara fan too😌
19:30 my head canon is that hidan was immortal because of a kekkei genkai that turns murder into life (jashin isn't real, hidan and his cult are just crazy). I like that he suffers but I do think he needs to die. Maybe, after a few years or so.
To be fair. Kakuzu tanking and surviving a rasenshuriken directly without earth spear and only 3 of his hearts left is a pretty big feat in of itself. Kakashi having to put him down just goes to show how durable Kakuzu was. I doubt any other Akatsuki member would have survived a direct at max hit. Nevermind remain conscious when ready weakened. I've always been of the opinion that if Kakuzu had his earth heart still. He would have simply tanked it with surface level damage. Of course a sage mode enhanced rasenshuriken should obliterate him.
@@trafalgard.187 If it completely obliterated everything. He would not have been conscious, Nevermind move his neck and lean up a bit. And Kakashi wouldn't need/be able to off him by stabbing his last heart if his heart wasn't still funtioning.
Man, Sasori's backstory is so relatable to me. Living a life without parents since young age, feeling empty and sometimes suicidal because of it. I could understand his idea and motives, that's why his death always feels like a frickin Jumbo Jet hitting me at a supersonic speed. It's not just saddening, but i also feel happy because at the very least he was free from his hell that he has been going through since his childhood
On my list: 1st place: Itachi - his death really moved the plot forward through Sasuke, the twist surrounding his life and death worked well, other characters besides Sasuke have talked about it and been affected by it. 2st place: Konan - her death moved the plot forward too, Obito had to kill her to obtain Nagato's Rinnegan which he used in the War Arc, and with her 600 BILLION paper bomb ocean jutsu she finally proved that there were strong female shinobi in Naruto 3rd place shared by Kisame and Nagato - Kisame set up a trap, so the intel he collected could be sent to Obito even after his death - he too moved the plot forward a little, he committed suicide on a brutal, epic way, making people remember his name. And Nagato destroyed then revived an entire village, showed the true potential of the Rinnegan - important foreshadowing, made Naruto become a hero in the eyes of the village for the first time. 4th place: Obito - because he finally DID IT, that crazy son of a b*tch, he did it :D :D :D Obito should've died countless times, survived things he definitely wasn't supposed to (crushed by a boulder, Amaterasued, blown up by 600 BILLION paper bombs, heart removed, Bijū extracted, Rinne Tensei used) and technically he still could've survived Kaguya's All-Killing Ash Bones jutsu with Izanagi. . . . And then, I basically don't care about the rest of them. But, still Zetsu is the last on the list.
The back story of Nagato, Yahiko and Konan, their ideals, their deaths are some of the saddest elements in Naruto. Though fictional, they remind me of the horrors of war and what they could do to the next generations to come.
Konans death is possibly the saddest one to me as when she died there was no one left to bury her, it also marked the end of their era. She was one of the truest member of the old akatsuki and its goal she even prepared something against tobi
For me my favorites in order is Itachi, Konan, Hidan, Obito, Sasori, Kisame, Deidara, Nagato, Kakuzu (Not counting Zetsu since he was sealed). The only ones I didn't like was Kakuzu and Nagato which wasn't bad but to me a bit underwhelming at the moment but hey it led to a great end of the arc so whatever. All the other Akatsuki's deaths were very great to me.
I love how Itachi was in this type of "You either die a villain or live long enough to see yourself become a hero" situation ... Kishimoto really flipped that shit lol
I had cried when Itachi died without knowing the rest. Because I just knew he was a good person. It was obvious to me it would end up in some way like it did. Especially when I saw that forehead tap
Bro, you got that wrong: konan is the best/saddest BY FAR! The tiles were supposed to turn red when they were home! She turned her tile red when dying (I think she controlled that paper while dying), meaning that now... they're all home, they're all safe, they're all together again, their battle is over and they can finally rest. (Also I like to think she turned jiraya's tile when he died few week prior, hence why while dying the first thing she was thinking about was to turn her tile red) Man I get teary eyes just thinking about it 😭
If nagato didnt revive everyone the next great ninja was wouldve started and ended with the destruction of the leaf village and other village's taking there land
nah, bro, it's hard to say for sure what would've happened if Nagato didn't revive everyone. The world of Naruto is full of twists and turns, so anything could've happened.
Honestly for me Deidra is like third from the bottom as far as deaths go in the akatsuki. The explosion was cool, but he still failed to kill sasuke and his death felt pointless in that context.
Aka Sasori was the one who died from being emotionally broken by his grandma’s jutsu reveal and then didn’t have the resolve to continue the battle and dodge the attack.
Hard disagree on Deidara - literally 1 of the stupidest deaths of the series! Sasuke didn't want to fight Deidara and even though Dei knew that Sasuke was "stronger" he was still pushing him. The way Sasuke survives the explosion is really not good. Dei was underutilized, he could solo most Naruto characters and even maybe harm Hashirama
Put some respect on itachis death BOY. It was utter horrifying seeing the eye thing for the first time. Knowing what the clan does by stealing eyes, the crow imagery the genjutsu where he’s pulling sasuke eyes out, the first time seeing susanoo and seeing the skeleton forming, his eyes being sightless by the end the power creep of sasuke bein outclassed for once. It was a horror action scene the fear of sasuke incredible.
woah, Itachi's death was definitely intense and had some chilling moments. The eye thing was haunting, and the symbolism with the crows and genjutsu added to the horror. Seeing Susanoo for the first time was epic, and the power dynamic shift with Sasuke was intense. It was a memorable and fear-inducing scene, no doubt.
You should really make a video about Susanoo Uzumaki's death... That was the saddest death in all of Naruto, and a lot of people dont even know about it.. How come both Sasuke Sarutobi, and Hikaku Uchicha already have a video but Susanoo Uzumaki doesnt..
Dygo : l was fed up after hearing Obito's backstory . Tbh , l was too like hearing Naruto's backstory every fight . But , he was just Naruto without plot armour .
imagine if for nagato's death he and jiraiya walked into the afterlife laughing and catching up with each other and nagato says: "sensei you were right."
Just gotta get this out tthere, is the Sharingan really Sasuke's art tehcnically? It's more of the Uchiha clan's art that handed down to them through an alien bloodline. Deidara had to seek and obtain forbidden jutsu to create his art, while Sasuke's is clearly strictly genetic in every way. Art is something you create and own yourself while the Sharingan at the time Naruto part 1 begins there are only 5 people who have the Sharingan (yes I'm including Kakashi), but that's not art is the literally sense. I think Deidara's art is greater than Sasuke's in the literal sense, it's just that Sasuke's "art" is powerful is an power scaling sense.
Naruto saying "Obito was the coolest guy" just goes to shoe how good of a person or character he is despite all that he has done he still speaks goof on his name after death
Either that or it was meant to be symbolic of Obito being a seperate personality from Tobi. Because in the kaguya arc, Obito becomes his old self and naruto says “no more masks, huh?”.
For Hidan it’s technically possible for him to comeback thousands of years in the future lol. Maybe an earthquake, or a massive battle something of that nature unearths him, and his pieces come back together.
Nagato's death isn't really an afterthought to be honest. Actually Nagato dies on screen, we see him die after Rinne Rebirth. We do get that emotional impact of seeing the character die. I agree his death could have been better though. We do see him die though, or at least we do in the anime.
What's the best Akatsuki death?
kisame death wasnt emotional but i still liked it
Itachi
Kisame RIDE OR DIE
Konan
Hidan clearly
Kisame is my favorite Naruto character, and i'm very satisfied with how his story ended. He got to survive the Bee fight and faked us all out into thinking he was dead, and was able to go out on his own terms after one final amazing fight with Guy. "Maybe i'm not so bad after all" Kisame was done justice in my opinion, glad he got to survive for so long as well.
The fact he wouldn't rat out itachi and the rest of the Akatsuki was epic, I just wish he had a more memorable final fight, that last fight with Gai was too short.

While true, Chiyo is a kage level puppet master who taught sasori everything he knew and sakura made a poison antidote. So sasori's defeat was not exactly shocking. He had tough opponents.

I couldn't have described sasori better myself

Almost a Alucard from Hellsing mentality. Wants nothing more than death but unwilling to go out without a deserving fight.
konan was completely made of paper. that last one going there was the last bit of her chakra returning to rest at the closest thing she could call her childhood home. finally putting them all to rest together.
Idk it makes it her death more poetic and beautiful.
... and Naruto forgot about the Rain Village and his promise😂

An Akatsuki list where Hidan isn't on the bottom! I never imagined it was possible.

Unexplored potential??😭 she always satisfied me she was always strong her and nagato
@clarencehalbay6042 Agree with you too. Very well said. Konan had everything needed to be more than just a side character, yet we barely got to see her greatness. And yes, I never understood why Sakura didn't have a wider variety of jutsus either, being the main female character and all.

I always thought Konan's paper was guided by the last of her chakra or some other contrivance.

My favourite will always be Sasori and Konan death scenes. They are dripping in sorrow, poetical references and both are visually beautiful. Thats exactly what I love Naruto for, the ability to squeeze tears out of me. Both stories are perfectly explained and really grab you by the heart.
I would have loved to see Konan blowing up a ton of Zetsu. But her death scene had me weeping. She finally got home.
Itachi definitely had the best death as his entire fight was built up since the beginning and then that's only the beginning of his story itself
Kisame nagato and diedara I'd place right after for unaliving themselves keeping to their own way of being ninja rather than be caught.

I liked both of Nagato's and Konan's death, just cool endings.
I have a theory why Naruto didn't finish kakuzu. I think that kishimoto tries so hard to keep Naruto's hands clean to convey his message about peace by letting others do the dirty work for him and the same goes for a lot of shonen protagonists.
Let me correct. Deidara's art didn't lose to Sasuke's art which are his eye, Deidara's art died to Sasuke's plot armor art.
Infact if i had to rank them I'd go:
1. Obito's death (Best)
2. Edo Itachi
3. Kisame
4. Hidan
5. The fact it's a normal resurrection that can happen on anyone even someone who died years ago with no consequence is hot garbage imo)
6. Konan [her death standing on it's own would be number 4 but i was just so underwhelmed by how Kishimoto was treating all the girls. (By this arc i had noticed the pattern) I was so irritated she died, I agree this was the perfect death for her but she definitely should've done more before she died like in your rewrite and why she never came back in the war arc is beyond me]
7. Deidara
8. Itachi's real death
9. Sasori (Sakura's best fight then after she and Granny Chiyo beat him fair and square they later say "he let himself get killed" ugh i hate it even more than the Itachi version. If that line did not exist this death would be number 3 but that one line ruins it for me. I hate that trope so much)
10. Kakuzu (Ngl when Naruto told everyone to just sit down and let him handle it i started to dislike the character. It kinda cheapened the other characters and i felt he was just making it all about him. Again i much prefer your rewrite version of the fight)
The flashback are anime issue not in the manga
Solid video. Thumbs up. I enjoy the logic after watching so many of these.❤

I still firmly believe it was because zetzu told all the kage sasuke was there at the summit. There’s a scene at the summit after karin notices a sudden commotion and gaurds moving, sugetsu says something like “I bet it was zetzu who told them” and sasuke’s face turns pissed and he starts killing the samurai saying “I’m not in a good mood right now, I won’t hold back”

2st place: Konan - her death moved the plot forward too, Obito had to kill her to obtain Nagato's Rinnegan which he used in the War Arc, and with her 600 BILLION paper bomb ocean jutsu she finally proved that there were strong female shinobi in Naruto
3rd place shared by Kisame and Nagato - Kisame set up a trap, so the intel he collected could be sent to Obito even after his death - he too moved the plot forward a little, he committed suicide on a brutal, epic way, making people remember his name.

And then, I basically don't care about the rest of them. But, still Zetsu is the last on the list.
It's so cool how all the Akatsuki die. Like it's meant to be their destiny from the life they chose to die in such violent, tragic ways.
deidara is my favorite akatsuki.
his death was a blast!
💥💥💥💥😏
I still can't believe they made My man diedara just blowup. It's stupid.
The back story of Nagato, Yahiko and Konan, their ideals, their deaths are some of the saddest elements in Naruto. Though fictional, they remind me of the horrors of war and what they could do to the next generations to come.
21:03 life is... A BANG!
I love the deidara/sasori dynamic. I like that they dislike each other.
Wait i just realized that a part of orochimaru is still lit in a genjutsu 😅
Itachi and Ace is my favourite brothers in mangas.
Their deaths are so touching.
I think that people like Deidera because of his antics with tobi. if he didn’t have those, would anyone even remember him?
Hidan definitely had the most humiliating death😅
I love how Itachi was in this type of "You either die a villain or live long enough to see yourself become a hero" situation ... Kishimoto really flipped that shit lol
yea as an older brother seeing itachi smile at sauske in his final moments makes me tear up everytime
(Also I like to think she turned jiraya's tile when he died few week prior, hence why while dying the first thing she was thinking about was to turn her tile red)
Man I get teary eyes just thinking about it 😭
If nagato didnt revive everyone the next great ninja was wouldve started and ended with the destruction of the leaf village and other village's taking there land
nah, bro, it's hard to say for sure what would've happened if Nagato didn't revive everyone. The world of Naruto is full of twists and turns, so anything could've happened.
Honestly for me Deidra is like third from the bottom as far as deaths go in the akatsuki. The explosion was cool, but he still failed to kill sasuke and his death felt pointless in that context.
"He just finishes the guy off without even batting an *eye* "
I see what you did there 👀
Where are the naruto rewrites!!? Please release more, it’s my favourite series on TH-cam.
OMG the ragnarok online music!!!
"boy"? Dude grow up, it's just an anime.
@@junior523 calm down BOY!
Respect putting deidara at #1. He’s always been my favorite akatsuki member
You should really make a video about Susanoo Uzumaki's death... That was the saddest death in all of Naruto, and a lot of people dont even know about it.. How come both Sasuke Sarutobi, and Hikaku Uchicha already have a video but Susanoo Uzumaki doesnt..
daderia died to plot ammor
No
Kakazu and Sasori were worse cases of dying due to plot armor,at least there was a reason Sasuke survived Deidara's explosion.
Anime fans when they find out everything happens because of plot
Dygo : l was fed up after hearing Obito's backstory .
Tbh , l was too like hearing Naruto's backstory every fight . But , he was just Naruto without plot armour .
Fair list
imagine if for nagato's death he and jiraiya walked into the afterlife laughing and catching up with each other and nagato says: "sensei you were right."
My opinion from best to worst:
Itachi
Sasori
Kisame
Konan
Pain
Hidan
Deidara
Obito
Kakuzu
Madara
U forgot zetsu
@@Deity_devil Oh… that automatically makes Zetsu last spot
Madara was not in the Akatsuki
solid list
For Hidan it’s technically possible for him to comeback thousands of years in the future lol. Maybe an earthquake, or a massive battle something of that nature unearths him, and his pieces come back together.
Nagato's death isn't really an afterthought to be honest.
Actually Nagato dies on screen, we see him die after Rinne Rebirth. We do get that emotional impact of seeing the character die.
I agree his death could have been better though.
We do see him die though, or at least we do in the anime.
