Man, your montages never fail to amaze me with what optimized Ike can look like. When you do your d-tilt to bair, are you slingshotting? Or still using rar/irar? Some of the ones I saw in this looked instant

Another question if you don’t mind, when you send your opponent offstage and side b to ledge to set up for a drop down, double jump bair or up b to wall them out coming back to stage, are you wavebouncing/b-reversing the side b? Or are you just ledge-slipping and pointing the side b towards stage? The movement is pretty quick and your Ike plays very fast so I’m trying to keep up, I can tell when you wavedash onto platforms that its become muscle memory for you, I would like to get to that speed too
@@donflores2611 No need to wavebounce or b-reverse it, just run off the ledge and side b towards the stage. As for wavedashes, I try to incorporate them into my gameplay and there are quite a few cool things you can do to mix up your opponents.

Also, how do you condition your opponents to jump above you after dtilt bair so much? Or did the players just have habits? Most people I fight just retreat or press a fast button since rising bair isn't positive on hit at low %.
Dropping from the platform comes down to timing. What can make a difference is how many jabs you need to make them fall and it depends on characters and how close you are to them relatively to the ledge. Sometimes you'll just need 1 jab, sometimes 2. I don't really have a real explanation for why people tend to jump after dtilt bair... I usually start with nair and see if they neutral air dodge, if so, I follow up with dtilt bair, and very often they jump afterwards (out of fear, panic option). I wouldn't recommend going for this outside off online since it's quite punishable and requires a hard read.
