    Great video. Like some other previous comments,this was really informative. I’ve have a couple of the Aquabound Stingray carbons and can’t say a bad thing about them.

    After watching Headwater's review on paddles we got 3 BB Whispers as our first paddles on Dan's reco. Now ready to upgrade. This video is just what we needed. Thank you!

      I told him he should be “Chris” for 10/31! Glad I’m not the only one who digs the resemblance.

    I went with an Aqua Bound, though it'll become my backup once I can find a Greenland Paddle.

      Quiver of paddles is the only way! I have a different quiver in every vehicle. I have a quiver just for my living room for aesthetic purposes only! Collect lots of paddles!

    No Greenland style? The "other" company is in Taiwan. Better to have one made in USA.

    • @HappyPaddlin
      @HappyPaddlin  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Would be cool to have them make one eh? There are so many artisan US Greenland paddle builders here in the US though. Kinda requires that kind of operation bc of the custom nature of what folks want in this category. If I was after one I’d find one from one of them and get it all cool and custom. But, I already have two just like that!

      @@HappyPaddlin in the USA? Seems like Geerlab makes theirs overseas because the US can't make carbon fiber lay-ups as well. Or so the story goes... To be sure wooden ones, or wood lay-ups are are made in the US and they are beautiful compared to carbon fiber. Yet I wonder how they stack up weight-wise to Geerlab's Kalleq paddle or their Akiak. I first learned to paddle in Okinawa with a wooden paddle so I will look into a solid wooden Greenland paddle.
