Once I figured out the 10 OP strat 9 OP (removed shirayuki) was simple I suppose I should thank @NeneRobo-Archive (Curses upon you, die in hell pls) for this clear since I never would have even tried 10 OP if he hadn't gotten the record down to 11 before me. They key to it all was Matoimaru When I was using 2 medics all they could do was heal. Matoimaru can block and dps, which helped trivialize all the clowns and drastically cut the rng from the run even compared to the 11 OP On top of that Matoimaru under perfumer can never die to a single clone, there is just no way damazti can do 6k damage before she interrupts herself witha spell and gives her time to heal. I'll do a longer analysis video of this run after SL event if there is interest in it. Btw a lot of people were worried I'd burn myself out, but I'm the opposite of burned out. After I gave up on 10 OP and let it go, The moment I realized Matoimaru was the solution was one of the most satysfying moments I've ever had in Arknights. Grinding for hundreds of runs, Ethan not binding, Ethan not dodging, Ethan binding too much, Dying to the boss cause healing it was too hard. Once I gave up on 10 op I saw clearly - The stage didn't needed that many ethan binds The stage didn't need that many Ethan Dodges The stage didn't need need Ethan deployed that early The boss wasn't hard to tank
Never would have thought the solution for the clear was to just, don't use Ethan for the bind all the time! (Also proof that matoimaru is still relevant)
that Cutter positioning to hit through the high ground tile was an amazing find. She's so strong against the boss global attack Can't wait for you to optimise this to 8 with Verdant (lol)
If I was a betting man I'd say this map will never be an 8 OP with 4* Every op does too many things and I can't imagine an op Broken enough to let me compress it more.
Stall is the easy part yeah Only issues are that perfumer can die to drone during cutter movement, but that's just timing a skill and that gummy dies to 1 clone eventually (that's what myrtle heal drops are about)
Congrats on the clear SG, after everything that happened on the streams you managed to overcome this stupid boss. Love your content as well, as a seasoned Arknights player it makes me happy to see clears like this not involving meta op's
