JR does not like to physically fight. He mentioned that once. He didn’t even like it when he HAD to do it in the military. So when he is actually seen throwing hands at someone (usually Cliff), they really do deserve all the heat. JR’s preferred method of fighting is with his words, mind, and money. He will get you where it hurts that way first because it will hurt longer. But if he does hit you, it is for a good reason (usually his wife or son is the reason…not always). He and Cliff have so many years of bad blood that it is easy for him to be provoked into a physical altercation. It really is “on site” with them. And even then, he will give Cliff a chance to get some act right before he goes there, but as usual, Cliff doesn’t know how to shut his mouth and that is when JR will sock him in the mouth.
