Note: when reconnecting the black cable at 4:34, I couldn't figure out how to "attach" it on the left/top side. the "connectors" on mine are not the round pin-style like they are on the other end of the black cable and both ends of the white cable. I did the best I could to have it flat, right in the middle of where you show it connected, but I don't see how it actually makes a real connection nor how it would stay there. With that said I've been using the phone for a day now and everything seems to work as it did before. Let me know if you have an explanation for why that end of the black cable is different and what connecting it should look/feel like, etc..

When I recently changed the back cover and battery I couldnt figure out how to remove the power button as mine seems to not register clicks now sometimes or the power button will mimick being pressed so will end up wanting to shut down or hang up calls etc I've tried contact cleaner spray but that hasnt helped.

Replaced the screen and now doesn't turn on, neither with the broken screen.. probably fk up somewhere.. when connecting the battery the mi9 starts doing a continuos sound (very tiny) like some electronics do and the connector get a bit hot. This is my second time replacing a broken display on this phone. Any ideas?
Hey, how do I buy those kits for removing the back of the phone? My Xiaomi Mi 9 broke awhile ago, because I accidentally dropped it and it dropped faced down to the ground. So now the screen won't work, but I can only see a little light flashing at the top.

Hello we have installed a new screen with everything well connected , but this one looks very dark barely visible only the footprint icon can be seen because it looks that dark the screen was fine we did a test before putting it on what could have happened what is damaged Thank you
If you drop you Mi 9 or any phone with an AMOLED or OLED display, and it cracks underneath the screen, the screen should flicker and/or be completely black. You will need to replace the screen. AMOLED displays don't crack like other LED screens do

If the connector at the top of the cable doesn't fall off, then it is already connected well.
Looks like the antenna socket broke from the pcb. My guess one of the sims will not work
