It's funny, this scene is like a final requiem for D-Boy as a whole. The alternating between his Human and Tekkaman forms reflects his battle not only with the Radam but also himself. He could have sunk into self loathing and depression and runaway due to the harshness of his life or he could have succumbed to his Tekkaman form. But ultimately his humanity and willpower won out and now he can use the Tekkaman power to the max due to being in full control of himself and not just as a Tekkaman. The final reward for this was a second lease at life after coming to terms with himself once the Blaster System removed all his memories.
That’s because most action/adventure anime these days don’t contain any element of risk, no escalation of threat. Take Blade for example, the guy is pretty far from unbeatable. Other than against Radam cannon fodders, Blade pretty much won half - if not most - of his fights by the skin of his teeth. If memory serves me correctly, some Radam warriors regularly out-performed Blade. He was fighting and killing his former family members and friends while dealing with the deterioration of his body and mind, until his hatred for Radam was the only thing holding him together - as seen in the final episode. I remember sympathizing with Blade’s predicament as I watched the show as a kid, and I was emotionally invested in the character. A lot of MCs now days, especially the ones from isekai genre, were damn near untouchable right from the get go. It’s like watching the original Star Wars, but with Darth Vader being defeated by Luke 30 minutes into Episode IV. I got no sense of peril watching these MCs just steamrolling everything all the way to the final episode. The only thing I felt towards these characters was irritation. They are like that kid in the playground who kept making shit up so they can win… until you want to take them behind the play fort and show them how their “everything-proof shield” will fare against your fist-sized rock.
Oh yeah the tek system uses void technology, the void stores their vital organs when they are in a tekkaman form and replaces them with radam biomechanical parts.
Was a cost to do so. Aki had to become a tekkaman to maintain a link to his humanity instead of him linking to the alien tekkamen which was killing him.
@@juliox9 yeah he was disintegrated by the Voltekka storm that Blade had created. also he doesnt have any of his old memories, it appears he does from Aki telling him but actually he doesnt as he doesnt know he can use Blastor Tekkaman mode.

Severely underrated anime
It really is

Damn, this still holds up. Gotta wonder why newer anime doesn't.
newer animes are ok but they can never be as good as these timeless classics. Tekkaman is just one of the few I love going back to watch now and then.
because newer animu has to be politically correct

They use too much CGI sometimes
No style, and the writers are probably cucks if I’m being honest

this anime shocked me when i was a kid
Also interesting to see the final battle - International version. Different dialogue
Norio Wakamoto, killing brobots since DBZ.
And getting ripped to shreds because of it.
Fun Fact: Both he and Toshiyuki Morikawa are the protag and Big Baddie in F-Zero: Falcon No Densetsu. as Ryu Suzaku(the second Captain Falcon) and Black Shadow. thats why when you hear them have an exchange, you start thinking: "why do these guys sound like Blade and Omega?"
Never take this down!
The last attack could have been Moon busting level destruction
Epic line from the international version:
"I am Pegas!"
I wonder what happened to omegas original body. Like all body parts stripped except his face. Even the brain looks modified
Hes a giant tekkaman. His body is still there, it just has a Radam Shell.
Oh yeah the tek system uses void technology, the void stores their vital organs when they are in a tekkaman form and replaces them with radam biomechanical parts.
Norio Wakamoto provided the voice of Tekkaman Omega.
what a happy ending
Dboy got some head at the end
No he lost all of his memories It's a bittersweet ending, He has to kill all of his family members and friends to save earth
is tekkaman blade the ultimate filter?
it has abysmal starting episodes but THE MOST INCREDIBLE ENDING?
Did this show have any of the same writers as Zeta Gundam?
Why the hell are there no subtitles?
Cause it's so epic it doesn't need to pander to the non-Japanese speaking.
@@TekkaSage nah fuck that. This needs subtitles dammit😂😂😂😂😂😂
Is Aki Megumi Hayashibara as herself?
