His vision and thought processing is what makes him next level. He skates awkwardly, but it so controlled and done with a purpose, almost effortless like. The precision of his shots and passes are without comparison from what I've seen in the KHL. Just how aware he is is ridiculous. It's almost like a card counter in Blackjack
I agree a lot with your analysis & assessment here of Demidov's all around play. But most importantly I believe his central assest and/or gift is his tremendous vision and hockey sense. This is what I strongly believe will take him to the NHL later this season and eventually a perennial all-star with the habs and in the NHL.
I totally agree. I'm hoping that with some coaching that he can improve his skating and become a bit more orthodox in that regard. He is really good at carving on his inside edges and using the Mohawk, but he needs work on outside edges and crossovers.
@@JC27813 Yes! Absolutely. I agree and concurr on that too. His skating is not bad but above-average at best now but yeah, it could be excellent or exceptional by him as you perfectly stated and illustrated, have a way more or better finess skating on those outside edges. And boy!!!!....he would look like or have the skating & speed of Nathan Mackinnon and combined with the vision, hockey sense and perennial offensive touch of a Kirill Kaprizov or Nikita Kucherov. Habs skating & conditioning coaches will have a field day or times to do wonders for Demidov. Can't wait. 🙂🙏👍
Instant game changer for the Habs. Powerplay, 3v3 and shootouts will be a different look for the Habs. I'm hoping he ends up with Suzuki and Caufield on the first line. They would be unstoppable.
The only bad thing about that is it could keep the Habs from the Gavin McKenna sweepstakes as he's going to be the most hyped 1st OA since McDavid. But getting to watch the Demidov-Hutson show will be worth it.
@@harryhood1919we coulda started the rebuild in 2023 and we got unlucky by getting slaf over bedard now were progressing to be in the "mix" and sadly next year there will be no mckenna year
Wow kever enough uh ? Slaf will be a solid powerforward i have 0 doubt about it , we have hutson caufield demidov and suzuki long term , we have everything we need i couldnt care less abojt getting mckenna with what's ahead@JeanJames-ff3wx
I don’t see how they robbed him of a goal mention to make it a 1G and 1P game, he should have 2G.. there’s nobody else from the SKA touching that puck before it goes in.. Weird league!
I literally hate the Chicago Blackhawks. One of the dumbest organizations. Third year in a row with the worst 5 on 5 offense. Get a 2nd overall pick and instead of drafting a player who can create his own offense and is an elite level player they take another defenseman. Literally brain dead org
I couldn't agree more, the Blackhawks have the worst forwards in the NHL and already had decent defensemen depth in prospects but still draft a d-man instead of this obvious superstar. In 3-4 years Bedard and Demidov could have been the next Crosby/malkin, mcdavid/draisaitl, MacKinnon/Rantanen. But hey we got yet another defenseman
Habs going to eat next year lol Laine and Demidov Dobes , Caufield . They just need better Defence and they will seriously do some damage in the playoffs next year.
I agree but the KHL official website changed it to an assist, they must have seen the puck go off his linemate since clearly it was Demidov shooting the puck. If it changes I will change the title.
I agree, I re-checked the official KHL site an hour ago but still not changed to 2 goals. Last week when he was given a phantom assist (he wasn't even on the ice, it was #81), I think it took a day for them to fix it but they finally did.
Ok i have a question: I was looking for an other NHL team to have so many TH-cam channel that talk about them and covert their games… and I don’t really find. Is like most that I find is about the Habs!!! Am I wrong? Or is this a fact???
I don't have the time to watch or follow any yt ch's but it would make sense that the Habs would have the most as I would say only 1 team can come close to them in terms of size of their fan base/interest. The Habs and Leafs fans are a rabid crazy bunch for their teams. With Demidov hitting the NHL next year I am wondering about making some changes to my channel to focus more on the Habs but just thinking out loud for now as I have no clue how I would go about it yet.
this kids gonna look real good in red white and blue
Did you mean Blue white and red😉
He does look 👍
With each match, he looks more and more confident. I hope he will become an NHL star!

is there a reason when he scored the first goal they didn"t update the score clock?
No, the goal was counted, it was the mistake of those who changed the score

Any update on his height ? Wonder if he grew to 6''1 since the combine
The KHL site has him at 184 cm which is about 6'0.5
Sure looked like 2 goals to me, but I guess the first one went off 70's leg.
