I pray the same for many call themselves Christians but by their actions they deny him and/or allow the devil to lead them astray and depart from the faith and pure devotion they previously had. Being isolated and away from others is sometimes a blessing from God as we know with John in exile and by God and wrote the book of Revelation.

@@austoncly3363 While this has nothing to do with being a Christian, I believe you need to learn to love yourself. Focus on loving you with all your flaws and weaknesses. Focus on knowing your self worth. Self love while it may be bad if you focus on it too much, can still be helpful in helping you to find your true self. Once your self esteem and self worth have increased, and you can be your true self around others, don't focus on yourself too much, but still value yourself. If you focus on yourself too much it can lead to pride. I've been there so I can tell you. The more you learn to love God, and love your neighbour as yourself and want the best for others just like yourself, you should be good. Ensure that your main focus other than self love is humility. After you've begun to love yourself, focus on not having any opinion of yourself whatsoever. Humble yourself before the Lord!🙏🙏🙌🙌

Applying God’s word over here 👈🏽 I agree it would just be so much easier if I could just make “church” through my TH-cam channels. But that would just ultimately turnout to be idol worship.
I still encourage folks in the real world 🌎 to join together and encourage one another through our individual walks with Christ. We must connect offline, authentically and purposefully to not only spread the truth about Yasuuah but to live his truth as well.
Now go and make disciples of men 🙌🏽

Proverbs 29:25 says "The fear of man is a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe". In regards to that, I find myself afraid of what other christians may think about what I'm wanting to do with my life. It's odd I care more about what other christians, my parents and friends may think of me than what I care about what unbelievers think of me. The sermon this past Sunday touched on this topic somewhat and the pastor said that Satan and his demons will come after me with those I care about most. I want to be free of caring about what others think of me. It's not that I'm looking for their praise but I'm more afraid that I'll disappoint them somehow. I think some of it too is the co-dependency I'm working on overcoming and that I want people to like me. I feel like I'm hiding who I can be and thus not enjoying my life at all. Thoughts anyone?

John Brown ..to seek God’s approval and to know he is pleased with me when I seek his favour first over humans’ is mark of us Christians...if we truly want obey him. I believe God will surround you with fellow believers who love and accept you when you do the same. I have been more concerned for those attending Church 3 times a week, and socially meeting, because after a few years of this, you come to depend on Man. And you become known or renown, and so gain a reputation. I think many will disagree. But to me, in the above scenario, there is not enough time to ask God, your questions, or to spend time with Him alone.
But I know that God’s family is a big one and HE has purposed it. He does not intend that we all live the same way.
It has only been a concern of mine, as there is a diminished need to Seek Him in your daily life, and then draw really close to Him. Not when you are spoon fed in Church, 3 times a week.
I think “ a little “ Ship Wreck now and then is a good thing…….

I like your points HOWEVER, it is VERY DIFFICULT to be able to find other TRUE CHRISTIANS. I am in a community of people who want me to be like them instead of pointing me to Christ. So, until I finish school where I am, I have to do it alone. Until I started to see and understand the falseness of the religion, I used to hang around in the community BUT found I was not growing. I even followed advice from people I thought were more mature Christians than I just for those decisions to backfire on me for the worst. So, now, I generally don’t trust other Christians. Many of the ones in the community where I am are either way too nosy in other people’s business (even in mine, which is one 🚩 for me), gossip about other people to me, or can’t even run their own lives. These red flags 🚩 🚩 are too strong for me to truly trust other Christians. I am now in a season of seeking God on my own and trusting ONLY HIM to help me to discern who to listen to and who not to. Until now, He has not put me across anyone who is wise enough to listen to. Even A. W. Tozer said that a saint must walk alone. We are living in such perilous times, where the majority of people who call themselves Christians are tares, not wheat. We must be careful and guard our hearts. The tares are obviously more deceptive and dangerous (since they masquerade as Christians) than someone who is obviously and blatantly worldly.

I think God is trying to tell me something with this video.
This question has been plaguing me lately, and I've been wondering how to properly share my heart with people after keeping it hidden for so long.
I've been searching to find if it's considered sinful to do that, have "secrets" and keep parts of my heart just between myself and God.
Not secrets that are meant to deceive and harm, but just keeping those things to yourself because you're too afraid and too ashamed to share them.
I plan to share the hidden parts of my heart. It's just been so long and I honestly don't know how.

Katie Drake Stay on that shelf, keep seeking God, keep staying in His Word, and stay faithful. When the time is right, He is take you off that shelf and empower you. Wait on Him. Remember, the first 30 or so years of Jesus (before His baptism), He was just doing life (and going to the temple). Joseph had his dream as a teenager, but it manifested in his 30s. David was quiet with God all those few years before he faced and defeated Goliath, then to live some years on the run before his assignment as king. When the time was right, these men knew EXACTLY what to do with the leading of the Holy Spirit......so it will be for us. Be encouraged sis (sorry if this was too long😊).

I understand about the mental health issue. I have had problems with my mental health for 33 to 34 years. I am in my late 30's now, and I went to mass. I took a leap of faith. I surrendered completely to His will, and I reaffirmed that I place Him first. My mental health illness worsened from personal problems that I have left in His hands. A prayer warrior told me that my mental health illness continued since I was afraid of my feelings. I repressed my feelings since I did not want for people to know that they had gotten the best of me from their years of bullying. Now, I focus on the Lord, and I live for the Lord. No matter what people think, the Lord is perfect love, and He has the ability to cast out all of your fears. Pray with faith, and know that you have received what you need. Anointing of the Sick can help with the mental healing process like it has helped me. God makes the impossible, possible. May the Lord bless you today and always.

The thing with that is that some Christians people don’t allow you to be as scriptures say because, they want you to be like they are or else. Soo, being a loner” works for some Christians.

Bless you. I've now watched quite allot of your videos. I have 346+subscriptions but now you and time of grace are the only or main recommendations appearing more and more. Nowadays even if I'm on whatsapp a long time thru out the day then when night hits I'd watch TH-camrs like Tyrone Magnus and others but now I'm in a situation were I could say I'd be off my device for a whole day and at 10pm I'll watch your video and then more and then sleep.
All now that must be done is reading the bible because I think we still get so caught up in these bless filled videos that we forget that what's understanding without knowledge.
Thank you again ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. Have a good day, I'm in Sa(South Africa) so I'd imagine its morning/afternoon but really thought please have a great day✨

This message was more convicting than I had wanted it to be. Thank you, Mark! ... Question: I have some **strongly** anti-Christian colleagues who wouldn't bat an eye in throwing someone under the bus (e.g. ruin someone's career / get them fired through a social media post) who disagrees with their (anti-Christian) ideologies and discourses. I'm also "friends" with them on social media. So here' s my question: Is it okay for me to make **some** of my posts on social media for Christians only (i.e. only my Christian friends or non-anti-Christian friends can see such posts)? All of my "friends" on social media know I'm a Christian, and they can see SOME evidence of that on my social media profile - but I don't think it would be wise to "cast my pearls before swine." I think it may only increase their already-extreme hatred of Christians and also (needlessly?) endanger my employment opportunities. (Some of them are actual **witches** and VERY toxic in what they post and do against those that don't "obey" their worldview.) Am I being "wise as a serpent but innocent as a dove" or "fearing people more than God"? ... Even Jesus didn't share the deeper/clearer revelation with the crowds, but only with His disciples.. because he knew he had to speak in "parables" - because the Pharisees, for example, wouldn't do anything good with more information or revelation - since they were NOT open to what He had already offered them... Anyway, sharing any advice or similar experiences would be welcomed! Thank you!

Mel: Try to get yourself OUT OF THAT SITUATION!!!! Regardless of how good your job may be that MUST be a highly toxic, poisonous atmosphere. GO where you feel valued, safe, and have a similar ideology. Bumping up again these people occasionally is inevitable, but working closely with them???!!!! Do this for yourself.

    • @Mel-so4ou
      @Mel-so4ou 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@overcomer4226 , thanks for your reply. I think I should've been more clear, though. I don't work in the same office or space with them, but we are in the same industry - a very interconnected one. So, I am not around them (physically), but I may see them at a work event (e.g. conference) or they may be on a hiring committee affecting (already tenuous) job prospects. In other words, I can have healthy boundaries with them, on a day to day basis - but I just wonder if I am being fearful - or wise - by limiting some of what they can see about what I post (about Christ / my faith) online. Again, they know I'm a Christian, and I know they "hate" that about me (because I have read their VERY hateful posts about Christians). Thanks, again, for sharing your thoughts!

@@Mel-so4ou it's your social media page and you can post whatever you want. If they have a problem with it, then that's their problem and not yours in my opinion. They're posting what they want right? I have people on my 'Friends' list that I know don't agree with my worldview but I don't let that stop me. Besides, it's not like I'm shoving anything in their face anyway. If they don't like what I post, they can just scroll on by for that matter. And you never know how the Holy Spirit could be working through something that you post or a comment you might make. I don't know if this helps but hopefully it does. Everything I've mentioned here is what I do in regards to my social media presence.

@Mel Pray for these Non Christian colleagues of yours and ask God to change them. Pray for their conversion and have Faith. Do not doubt. Continue posting your Christian posts online and don't be afraid for them to see them or insult you. Let God take control. I post online to the public on facebook about my faith to Catholics and Non-Catholics. I love to share the word of God to others. I love my country and want the best for them. This is my driving force. I know that I am doing God's will and nothing will stop me. Remember, God will judge you for all what you did and did not do. He loves when we spread the word to others and draw them to Him. Don't be ashamed in sharing His word. He is watching you.🤗😘😊😉🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌👀👀👀💖💖💖

It is very difficult to know who I AM as an individual. Like many, I have arrived on earth like everyone I had family and all. In time, I had to set apart from family and follow my own path on my own terms. I don't follow anyone and don't expect anyone to follow not at the moment of time. Where I AM and who I AM no one can be and no one can go. But if you truly want to know who I AM. the best way to know the paths I went through is to know my past. Which is where it is difficult for you to know. Here is a piece of literature from a song it defines who I AM in truth. And the paths I have gone through.
    My story ends
Not far from where it started
My weary limbs have grown old
    I've seen the world
Through the eyes of a nomad
Home is where the heart is
    I've been told
    So I go
    Avenged Sevenfold - Coming Home
listen to the song it will tell you who I AM.

I've got friends from my past that are God-haters or just don't believe in God. I no longer want to be connected with those people, and I'm not even sure it's worth connecting with them at all anymore. I'd like to just shed my complete past and start over with my new church friends. Do I disconnect with them or talk with them about it? Or just move on?
