@HMQ I don't know where you got the idea that breakcore requires an amen break, and that its the only thing that defines the genre. There are several breakcore songs that don't sample any amen breaks, don't follow a similar pattern, etc. There are also songs that do use the amen break that aren't breakcore. Would you call Faint by Linkin Park breakcore? I doubt you would. What _does_ make a breakcore song would be the prominent use of _heavily chopped samples and drum samples_ with complex patterns and varying levels of technicality throughout the song. This doesn't necessarily _need_ to be the amen break.
