Another mid-2000s urban gangster shooter that despite it's obvious flaws is a fascinating game of it's time. Games like this will never be made again, so it's always fun looking back on them. Not the greatest game, but I do enjoy it for what it is...and it's definitely a throwback! The dialogue is "so bad it's good" and I did chuckle at some of the one-liners the NPCs say. There's also bonus objectives which give some replay value to unlock multiplayer items and whatnot. The game caused major controversy and nearly got banned due to being able to gun down cops and glorifying gang violence...then again which crime game doesn't do that? A bizarre title indeed.

This game was harder then 50 Cent Bulletproof I just kept on dying first time I actually seen a Tec 9 actually be put on Semi Auto that's a first
The aiming is slightly better here than in 50 Cent Bulletproof but enemies still move around like crazy making it hard to land shots. Also on Normal Difficulty you can die from just 3 or 4 shots.
@@Willzyyy one thing I hated about 50 Cent Bulletproof is like the Glitches and the Controls like I can't stunt I think it definitely needs a Remake like on some Resident Evil type of shi but I thought it was cool I got to see like Tony Yayo Young Buck Lloyd Banks Eminem Dr Dre and all the people he worked with its like a time capsule definitely one of those games that needs a revival I feel like

Haha, I remember working on this game. I was the user-interface programmer. The publisher had a deal with an energy drink company that literally sent us case loads of Crunk every week. By the way, this is the same development studio (Avalanche) that recently brought us Hogwarts Legacy. Many of the same people are still there and involved in both titles. Dig it!
I you compare this game to Disney Infinite and Hogwarts Legecy you can see how much they managed to improve over the years

I recently played this game, its pretty decent the combat was enjoyable,only real problem I had was the story felt rushed near the end,could have had more missions.

Narc was good fun. Selling and taking drugs was a unique feature!

i honestly didnt see this as a "bad" game. The company that developed this title did pretty well with the resources they had available. The story was below mid and the gameplay could've definitely used some polishing but it's overall a decent shooter. My friends and I have always looked back on this game with good gesture and it was PS2 classic in most of their opinions.
That ending deserves a sequel with Darnell grown up and in the streets with his pops either calling shots in the back or just fully retired on the low offering Darnell any advice on escaping law and the ops. Mendoza will be the main villain
man...this brings a lot of memories.
The best part about this game was the clan battle system our team was top 5 which was shown on the front page. Absolutely a fire game. 10/10

Mid-2000s video games tended to be lengthy, but this one only lasted around two hours. I'm not sure, but it was when Eidos was short on cash, wasn't it?
Anyway, I liked this game. It has its own charm.
It's definitely a lower budget than some of there other games, unless it all went on the music lol. The game's actually a solid 3-4 hour experience (without editing) as you'll die a few times, especially on harder difficulties, and take a while to discover some of the bonus objectives. :)

But can't complain about it (I gotta tell ya, the biggest paycheck I ever got for makin' cover art was for a sick Hip Hop CD.)
And 3-4 hours for a gameplay is quite decent for today's standard. Not much back in 2000s, but it's solid today... Aw, now I wish they create remakes or sequences for these games. Indies are not touching it as well. I'm part of a third person shooter game dev Discord and everybody is creating sci-fi stuff... I'm the only one developing a crime game there -___- I'm feeling isolated.

@@TheWiktor1210 I know when I downloaded it in 2018 - 2019 there was a website called 25 To Life online but I don't know if it's still up. At the time you could download just the 25 to life multiplayer and the drivers but I don't know if that website is still up as of right now.

They made a new one or something? Either way it led to the discovery of ya channel and I definitely digg the content bruh keep it up I love thes throwbacks. This is your first time playing the Xbox emulator on a powerful desktop computer. I guess I found them better than a gaming laptop. At least some of the soundtrack are non-copyright. Also, how do you edit to keep the dialogue and mute the music when they’re talking?
This was my first time ever using the Xbox Emulator as I discovered 25 to Life on Xbox has native widescreen. It runs well but it's a shame there's no stereo audio at the moment. Xemu only has mono sound output. I used Vocalremover.org to remove background music from cutscenes. :)
