100%. I used to listen to Sirius/XM religiously and I remember perfectly how he do things like make it apart of his contract in signing with the radio company that the competing radio hosts at the same network were not even allowed to mention his name or even elude to him in any regard because they would mock and make fun of him so much. &When the Radio company would throw parties, inviting everyone from the company, he would throw a fit and threaten the company when he saw the other ones there. Making the company panick and kick them out in order to please him because he was bigger.
He would fake suspensions just to stir up fake drama around the show and get attention in the news.
I even remember the weird stuff like how he felt the need to lie about being at his daughter's exotic spoken word poetry after it was ridiculed because she was just screaming and moaning, "MY VAGINAAAAA" over and over.

The video kind of skipped another part of the story which might've had the biggest effect overall: Joe's fight/falling out with Stern meant he started doing more appearances on the Oppie and Anthony Show, the #2 shock jock morning show of the early 00's; O&A had a big feud with Stern, meaning regulars on their show were typically blacklisted from Stern's. Anthony Cumia, one of the two hosts, built a studio in his own home and started doing podcasts on the weekend for fun in late 00's, early 10's, and Rogan has said it was Cumia who directly influenced him to start a podcast of his own, and that the O&A show's relatively format-less style, where the hosts and guests often just talked about whatever they pleased for 3-4 hours, inspired Rogan's long form conversational style.

Stern really did hate those guys, he heard they were at at an event he was at and had security kick them out. They made jokes about his daughter doing a play and the howiecopter. They also mentioned something about a Christmas party and his daughter. They worked for the same company and Howard had the boss ban them from saying Howards name. So that was areal feud and not just a radio bit. The only time Howard talked about them was after they got fired.

Ever see Mexicans be unified fans of something? They go all out lol. Yeah, that’s how it was with her. Her music still brings people together today.
It would be like if a modern famous singer with a huge fan base died today and someone immediately mocked how they died, and then people commenting about not understanding why anyone would be upset over it because of some dark humor bullshit where the person can’t read the room.

I’ll tell you why that effected Howard so much.
He thought Joe was just as slimy as him, and when Joe was actively refusing strip club women (apparently unthinkable for Howard Stern), Howard took that as Joe being, or trying to be, morally superior in the battle that only Howard was having.
He probably thought “this guy thinks he better than me?? He thinks he’s better than not groveling for strippers?!”
Enter this weird, “you’re a huge misogynist.” Projection arc from Howard.
I’ve seen that before and it’s really sad when you have someone who you think is your friend, just to find out your success (or in this case lack of failure) is threatening to them.

The irony is that Joe Rogan has kind of taken Howard's spot "on the radio" (in the internet age), and is so much more popular and famous than Howard ever was without having to be trashy, quite the opposite. It must burn Howard now since you can tell by the tone in the recorded conversations on Howard's show that Howard felt so much more powerful (in a showbizz sense) than Rogan at that time. A sense of "yeah I'm doing this guy dirty but I'm Howard Stern and he's just lucky to be on my show, so he's gonna take it". I think most people can see who the "stand up" type of dude is, and who leans more towards being a scumbag.

The reason he was so confident in his opinion is because he talked to many doctors and scientists who were not on the woke pay role. Many of the people who helped Rogan develop his educated opinion got cancelled and then were proved correct later.

hear me out, they probably got close, joe found out something about stern and stern got scared. hes got a bigger platform at the time so he used it to villainify joe before he could say anything about stern so that anything joe said that was true just seemed like him trying to get back at stern with lies.

From this story, Stern seems like a gossipy immature guy. He has no social grace which is cool for cheap entertainment, but is a terrible quality for a potential friend. Just no reason for Joe to hang out with this has-been that is clinging to his legacy while Joe is free to do whatever he wants. Also just trashy to bring in his ex, or take him to a strip club and then start blabbing about how he acted.

In terms of shows, there is no funnier show that was peak Opie and Anthony. When that show had Loui CK and Patrice O’Neal, Bill Burr and others, it was dynamite. I’d urge anyone to listen to a segment called Paranoid Patrice, kills me every time and if you don’t like racial jokes check yourself

As someone who grew up in the 90’s I think the last time Stern was relevant to my generation, or at least to my knowledge, was around 9/11. His coverage on his show that day was legendary. After that it was basically nothing until he became a judge on America’s Got Talent which was obviously completely different and had almost nothing to do with his previous career.

If you’ve ever taken basically any antibiotic then they could say you’ve taken horse antibiotics as well, because they’re used for both humans and animals. It’s a stupid thing to say and was just used to try to discredit and slander him during the covid shit.

It's like calling milk 🥛 cat food. 🐈 Rogan took the human version of Ivermectin, which was prescribed by his doctor in a pill form. CNN and others were claiming he took "horse paste." 🐎
It's not even manipulating the truth. It was a straight out lie. I personally know at least a dozen people who were prescribed Ivermectin for covid by their doctors here.
They politicied medicine. "Talk to your doctor" is what they all should have been saying. I actually know a few people who based their medical decisions on what Rachel Maddow and the cast of the view said on TV. 🤣🤣🤣

Joe Rogan is intelligent and interviewing expert guests on the subject actually gives him credibility. Prob is doctors were silent and or complacent. The whole roll out of unproven, untested medical recommendations were the whole reason for the FDA and we just straight ignored and shamed people who questioned whether this was safe or effective.
