辻井さんの優勝後のインタビューで、ヴァンクライバーンさん御本人が、「彼の演奏には神の存在を感じる、彼はなにがしかの人の心を癒す方法を持っている」と。また、コンクール主催者が「最後の演奏後、審査員が全員が立って拍手をし、しかも目から涙が流れて…審査員は普通拍手はしないのに、彼の演奏には皆さん思わず拍手していた」とおっしゃってました。「神の存在」という表現から「奇跡のピアニスト」と言われたのでしょう。辻井さんが10歳の時に、来日したモスクワ音楽院の院長も「彼の演奏には神の存在を感じる。心の美しさが音に表れている。将来世界的ピアニストになれるでしょう」と、レッスン後におっしゃいました。偉大な音楽家が同じ言葉を発したことに、鳥肌が立ちました。右手と左手を別々に録音し、指使いから指導してくれた川上先生、三枝しげあきさん、佐渡さん、15歳から今回も急遽東京からテキサスまで来て指導してくれた横山幸男先生(1990ショパンコンクール第三位)、多くの素晴らしい方々との出会いが、辻井さんの音楽の力になっていると思います。

ややもするとオーケストラの中でのピアノの音は隠れて聞き取れない時があるが、彼がいかに正確に音を鳴らしているかこれで理解できる極めて貴重。

彼のピアノを聴いていると、時間がたつのを、忘れてしまう！もう夜中の2時。彼こそ天才を字に書いたような人です。正しく本物の天才!!
この映像は資料的価値があります。ピアニストと指揮者がこういう綿密なコーディネーションを行っている現場を初めて見ました。それにしても辻井氏のインスピレーションは凄いものがあります。全身がピアノと一体化して鍵盤が手の延長となっている感じです。

本当に貴重な映像ですね！コンチェルトでのピアノだけのパート、聴いてみたいと予々思っていたのでとても嬉しく、楽しめました。ショパンとラフマニノフのコンチェルトが一段と素敵に感じます。辻井さんのピアノが醸し出す美しい音色を違った角度から堪能できます。
ノブが凄く楽しそうに気持ちよく弾いてるのを見ると、
凄く幸せになります。

気迫と情熱、努力、それ以上に心から音楽が好きで好きで、心から楽しんでるし音楽に対しての誠実さが刺さる。大ホールでも慰問でも何時も同じ姿勢で、それは何年経っても変わらない。世界レベルの方なのに、地方都市にも来て下さり全身全霊で演奏をし、「皆さま楽しんで下さり有り難う御座います。嬉しいです。」と、深々とお辞儀をされる。世界レベルの方なのに、音楽への姿勢が誠実なんですよね…

昨年（2021年）12月30日夜、偶然開いたTH-camでクラシック音楽に涙し、
その後辻井伸行さんのことをあれこれ探る毎日です。
お勧めが増えるまま、
ポロポロ涙をにじませながら、
辻井さんの子どものころからの映像を交えて、演奏を聴いています。
人生の最終幕になってこんな感動を与えてもらえるなんて・・・感謝です。

さらっと弾く辻井さんの音に引き込まれ書き物が3行で止まってしまいました。
辻井さんの才能も努力も凄いですけど、幼い時からの川上先生の指導も素晴らしいと思います。右手用、左手用の演奏を細かに録音、楽譜に合わせた感情をいっぱい入れて辻井さん用に制作し教本としたそうです。その音源にも価値が相当あると思います。
何か分からないが胸に染み込んで来ました、簡単には言え無い音色が自分の涙腺を刺激して何故か泣いている自分がいます、感動を有り難うございました。
そうか❣️鍵盤を叩くではなく、優しく触れる、だから鍵盤から高く指が離れるパフォーマンスをしない。ピアノが発する最高の音質をノブ君は自ら創り出している。自然に聞き惚れてしまう。そして感動する🥲

オケで隠れている辻井さんのピアノパートが聴けるのは本当に貴重でありがたい。指揮者と呼吸で合わせている様子も興味深い。しかしこの指揮者、チェックしつつも鑑賞しているだろ。役得だな！
仮にもヴァン・クライバーン国際コンクールのオーケストラ指揮者が、鋭く深く吟味はしても「チェックしつつ鑑賞」などとぬるいことはしてないと思うが。
確かに感銘を受けつつ、チェックしているように見て取れますね。

毎回思うのだが、辻井さんが演奏する度にショパンなりラフマニノフなりコンポーザーが降臨してきて、
彼の横に立って、彼の肩に手を置いて、「そうそう、そこはそうなんだよ！」って絶賛してくれているような気がするする😌
こんな事を言うと賛否あると思うが
辻井伸行の演奏は他の演奏者と違い
音そのものが全く違う
彼以外の演奏者は楽譜通りに巧く弾こうとしているような感じがしてならないが
辻井伸行の場合
耳から聴いた音を自分なりに咀嚼し
恐らく無意識だろうが
聴き手にとって
とても聴きやすい演奏を行っている
なので彼の演奏はとてもピュアで綺麗だ
だから心の奥まで響くのだと思う

批判も賞賛もどうでも良い 自身が見聞きしたものを信じる事 代三の気持ち（ゆとり）で物事に対処＝危機管理とも言う（ありとあらゆる場面を瞬時に考え判断する自身に課した訓練）し与えられた喜びに対して恩返しする事を心がけると自身の人生が楽しくなるよ 彼は教わらずとも実行しているのが素晴らしい 私自身が６５年以上かかって見つけた答え
コンロン氏が譜面を見ながら音の確認？しているが1：40くらいに譜面をめくる手が止まる。2：04に譜面を閉じ2：12で片手で口を抑えて凝視。おそらくこのときに辻井君の実力に気づき驚愕している。3：00に再び譜面をめくり演奏のチェックを始めるが、4：06で再び譜面をおいて完全に見入ってしまう。この一連の行動見るのが好き。😃

We can understand the composition of what Nobu has in his mind rather better in this session with the composer.
The phrase, the “vision” of the music is often depicted by musicians but with Nobu, seems to be capable to skip that process and shake our emotion directly. One will pass through a beautiful experience once you let him. This world is filled with unseen.

本番ではないため、力が抜けているが音の粒は常にしっかりしている。全体のどこをはっきり伝えたいかということがよく分かる。
情景が流れるような演奏という表現があるが彼の場合それが必要ない。それらを飛び越えて感情を直接揺さぶってくる。気が付かないうちに綺麗な世界を通過している。実に新鮮な体験である。見るという行為が心を無意識に霞ませることに気がつく。この世の中はまだ見ぬものが多い。

He is a living testament that one can be perfect without seeing anything. Perhaps he sees more than everyone and there's no way for us "normal" people to know that but just to listen and enjoy this heavenly music. The Bible said it first- "Faith is the evidence of things not seen"
What a guy,totally briliant,he is amasing.
Every time I come across another video of him playing, I am simply astounded. Quite early on I ceased to wonder at the sheer technical prowess and the super-human effort of learning all the repertoire (although when I stop to think about it, it still blows my mind). Instead I am simply amazed at the musicality. The utterly beautiful way he plays the slow movement of the Chopin is simply breathtaking. There is a complete lack of artifice or affectation, just beautiful phrasing and wonderfully limpid tone. And to cap it all he is completely unassuming about his talent. It is remarkable and I find it extraordinarily moving.

There is no more demanding piece in piano repertoire than Rach 2. The level of mastery given his disability is just simply incredulous. The simple melody that is mostly sung by the concerto in the first segment has such a beautiful and complex underlying piano work.

Yes, this video showcases Nobu's unique combination of clarity, purity and firmness of the sounds (where needed), as the sounds are not muddled with orchestral or any accompanying instruments. In that sense, this video is rather precious.
Ken Itanikhi I was gonna say the same thing. His playing is truly very clean.
Now, why this doesn't have at least 1M views is astonishing to me. The guy plays with such clarity that is refreshing, probably because himself had to hear them that way to learn them... But second, this is a glimpse of how rehearsals are done, how compromises had to be done and last and not least... why he won the competition.

Thank you for posting this rehearsal! I saw the proms 6 with him on tv July 16th. Pity BBC took it off their video server (Put it back BBC!). Listening & watching Nobuyuki Tsujii play in this Hall of halls (RAH) is and was devine and touches the heart!
The only critique I have on the performance is that the orchestra and Nobu were out of sync during a tempo slow

He doesn't "cheat the piece"..every note is there...volume based on his idea of importance to the whole. It just makes you WANT to sing the orchestra part. The sound of this piano his piano really suits his touch. Like the 3rd minus orchestra, it's fascinating to hear the piano as solo....the left hand counter-melodies...a Rachmaninoff trademark SO readily heard. Like many non sighted, they are otherwise gifted with their SUPER ear...to learn this note for note is beyond understanding. It just IS. Conlon hears this artist's way this this concerto..traditional..much like Kissin., whose TH-cam Video is a must see. At 36:04, the section most difficult for the orchestra's woodwind trio to stay in "sync", Tsujii plays his part with a more steady flow than most others, who tend to "rhapsodize", making more more difficult for the woodwind trio to keep up. The way he does it here will aid those players greatly during the performance. What a wonderful video right here. Maybe more some other time. Blessings to all.

I will never get bored either🙏, Mr Tsujii is my favorite pianist and we are in 2023... He is the best pianist of his generation and for a long time. He has it all... The virtuosity of course but also the deep knowledge of the styles of the composers who he respects fully and whose music he beautifies with such an emotional touch and sound. You can feel his pure heart and soul. 💖
